Bie and Keen's mom asked the nurse to come out so the patient could rest. Tears still flowed from her beautiful face. He sat in the waiting chair with his head down. Mami Keen tried to get close to Bie. He sat next to Bie and touched his hand, making Bie shocked.
"Bie ..." said Mami slowly. Bie looks over and looks at Keen's mom.
"Yes, Mi. What's up?"
"Do you know when you're married."
"Just three weeks ago, Mi," murmured Bie.
"Sorry, if your question might offend you. Are you a widow" said Mami softly. He was afraid he would offend Bie.
"I was married to Keen for the first time."
"Mommy saw there's a photo in Keen's room, there's a little boy between you two. His face resembled little Keen. I thought it was Keen's son. Turns out you've only been married three weeks. Which child."
"My son and Keen" said Bie.
"You've only been married three weeks. How can it be Keen's son and you."
"I was pregnant with Keen's child when she got engaged to Cath. I'm not saying I'm afraid Cath's parents will and of course Keen's parents won't accept."
"You were pregnant with Keen's child before marriage."
"The whole story, Mi."
"Mommy will hear, tell Bie."
Bie tells briefly from the beginning of his introduction to Keen, until finally he broke off their relationship. Bie did not forget to tell the story of the night of the farewell party at that time.
"So the little boy was indeed Mami's grandson."
"Yes, Mi."
"We need DNA evidence" Papi said, appearing between Mami and Bie.
Bie looked at Papi Keen with a displeased look. Papi Keen was suspicious of him.
"Father can do a DNA test on my son Barra. But with one condition ..." said Bie by restraining his emotions. She respects her husband Papi.
"Terms ... What do you want?"
"If Barra proves Keen's flesh and blood, you should be able to grant all that Keen wants. If Barra wasn't your grandson, I'd be gone from Keen's life. But don't fake it all!"
"You're accusing me and challenging me?"
Bie's tears spilled back down his cheeks. His chest from earlier had been tightened withstanding all of his anger upon hearing Papi Keen's suspicion.
"Father, even though I'm poor, I still have my pride. There's no way I'm fooling a man into admitting he's pregnant. Right now my husband, who is also my son, is in a coma. I swear on Keen's name, if Barra's really his biological son. Never once have I touched a man other than Keen."
"Papi, stop. Papi see for yourself if the child in the photo looks like Keen. Why do you still doubt that?"
Mother who came with Barra approached Bie. Mommy handed Barra Bie's lap.
"Bie, Mother had to bring Barra here. Barra from earlier was fussy. Maybe he feels something you're thinking."
Papi and Mami are shocked to see Barra's face which is so similar to little Keen. Mommy's tears are spilling. He took Barra from Bie's lap.
"This is my grandson, he must be Keen Pi's son. His face resembled little Keen. No need to doubt." Mami hugged Barra tightly, as if afraid of being separated. Bie wiped his tears that could not be held back. Papi just looked at Barra carefully.
Barra was crying in Mami Keen's arms, Bie picked it up and sat a little away. He gave Barra her milk. After Barra calms down. Bie stands up and brings Barra closer to Keen's room. Bie asked her son to see her Papi.
"Darling, look here. There's Barra. We're waiting for you. Don't sleep long. Barra wants to hug Papi. Barra wants to play with Papi," he murmured. Mother hugged Bie and Barra.
"Mother, are my sins too great. Why did God punish me this way. Only then did I feel happiness with Keen, back to being tested again. Mother, I'm tired. I'd like to give up if Keen isn't conscious either. I'm tired, Mother," said Bie.
Mother hugged Bie and Barra. He took a breath before saying something else.
Bie, don't say that, son. God never punishes His people. You can't give up. Remember there are Barra and Keen who are in desperate need of strength from you right now."
"When you receive the test, just trust that God has entrusted you that you can pass every test He gives. Lord, never test every servant with a test that His servant cannot complete. The existence of trials, deep disappointment and sadness that torments the soul and body is actually a decree taken by God so that we can become a stronger person. Being a person who never gives up and a person who is easily desperate." Mother rubbed Bie's back.
"Never drag on in grief because you are being tested or in distress. The more you dissolve in distress, the more stressful and miserable life you will feel. The more sad and difficult you are because of the tests you face, the easier it will be for your psychic and physical to fall. It's also very possible that you will be looked at one eye by another, seen as pathetic and seen as useless."
Papi Keen sat on the bench while watching Barra's face without a blink. Mami stood up and hugged Bie, seeing the woman's fragility.
Seriate.
