Love Bersemi In Turkey
About Business

I knew it was a joke, but it made me think again. Of love? I don't even know what love feels like.

I shook my head as I rushed in, then sat down beside Vian. He was holding some cards in his hand, playing with Hamzah.

"We should play in groups. Me and Sadiya, against you and Vian," Masara said as he sat in front of me.

"But I don't know how to play this game" I said slowly, not wanting to embarrass myself. They all know how to play it, but I don't.

"It's easy .." said Vian while teaching me how to play it. A few moments later, I understood. We also played together.

Moments later, Vian and Hamza looked at each other very seriously, then giggled the entire time. Masara began to get angry, making me more dizzy because I did not really understand the game.

"If you cheat, I'll chop off your head and give it to Sadiya" Masara said. I rolled both balls of my eyes. Hamzah's laughter exploded, but it wasn't funny to me at all.

"Do you really think that if you eat to this handsome me, you will get sick? But, no problem, there are still a lot of girls out there who like my handsome head that's-"

I began to feel uncomfortable, I stood up and put my foot in the kitchen before Vian finished his chat about his handsome head.

I still hear his laughter, it bothers me more. After all, why would they make such a creepy joke?

I'll chop off all of you and give it to Hamzah. What's wrong with me, why say something like Masara? I immediately shook my head, trying to remove all those embarrassing thoughts from my head, then I boiled some water to make some more tea.

After a while, I returned with tea. I saw Masara and Hamzah looking at me, their faces very serious, without laughter like before.

"That's not funny" I said lazily. Masara raised his eyebrows while looking at me. I threw my face away while breathing.

"I don't care about them!" I heard a voice from my right. I looked up and saw Vian looking at me. That sounds right, but I don't know what he means. I smiled thinly while trying to stop my head shaking.

"Geez, you're so funny" said Masara. I didn't look at it one bit. I rolled my eyeballs lazily while picking up my cards.

"Who's next?"

"Are you still angry?" I heard a voice behind me, then a pair of circular arms around my waist. I was washing dishes.

Masara and Hamzah are gone. I woke up from my daydream, but I remained silent. Not what, but I don't know what to say. Vian buried his head around my neck, making it difficult for me to wash dishes.

He saw me in trouble, but still did not move his head. I let out a pissed breath. I dry my hands with a napkin and turn to face it. He looked at me with a strange look. I didn't understand the meaning of his gaze, it made me feel uncomfortable.

"Hey .." he whispered as he grabbed my chin, forcing me to look at him.

"You have a right to be angry. I don't care about all. What's going on here, now, is real. And that's the reason" he said.

"Then what is our relationship called, Vian? We have to talk about whatever we've been going through between us" I said.

Vian looked at me for a moment. He blinked one eye, then his facial expression changed. After that he went into the living room without saying anything. I let out a breath.

It's always like this. I know, she loves Liza so much. It was as if Liza had locked him in a room, without a door, so that not a single person could snatch Vian from her.

At first, I never had bad feelings for the girl, but now I started. I don't know why. I don't want to see Vian get hurt like that. I don't want to be given hope that will only lead me to bad facts.

I dare not go to the living room to see him, but an hour has passed. I cleaned the whole kitchen. I even washed the dishes twice just to pass the time. I was afraid, I was afraid to think about what he would say later.

I took a deep breath before stepping my foot into the living room. I wish he had gone from there, but no, he was still sitting there drawing something on the paper with his forehead wrinkled.

I approached him and sat down next to him. He was drawing someone, but the picture wasn't good. I took the paper and pencil out of his hand. I fixed it, then added some details to her clothes. I felt Vian was watching me, but I didn't see him.

When it was over, I gave it back to him and he saw it. A few seconds later, he smiled.

"Here we go!" he said it made me look at him confused. He looks very happy. I was confused as to why he was so happy with just a piece of paper.

"What?" I asked him and he looked at me.

"You know, my family is the owner of this famous brand and my father wanted me to get this job done. We draw, design and sell clothes to small brands. I'm going to take over this business in a month and dad gave me this job to finish, to see if I could do it. But you, you Sadiya, you will work with me!" said it. I was really confused what he meant. Work? Me? Brand? That's when I realized I didn't know anything about him. He saw my confused expression, he rolled his eyes lazily.

"We design men's clothing and sell it at a high price. Look at this .." he said as he picked up the paper from the other side. It was a picture of a man in clearly visible clothes. That looks pretty good. The jeans were brown with blue sweaters. It looks pretty normal, but something is different.

"I like this, but there seems to be less. I don't think it's done yet" he said, looking at me to give him an idea. I looked at the paper for a moment and nodded.

"The sweater. Need a pattern," I said, taking the paper and making some square patterns and giving it to Vian. He saw it and his eyes were wide.

"Yes! This is what's needed. I didn't know you could draw well. Sadiya, you will get that good job," he said, staring at the paper with a sparkle. I don't feel comfortable. It feels strange to be praised. But I'm glad I could help him.

We talk a little further. He told me about business and other things, but I really didn't understand anything so he stopped explaining it.
