JUST MISS

JUST MISS
Chapters. 7

The clock shows at 6:30 am. The sun slowly emits its rays as time passes.

Here, I've been standing in front of Nada's house since half an hour ago.

I woke up last night. I feel so guilty about Nada. That is exactly what Reza said. He needs status?

I went into the courtyard of Nada's house, maybe it's time. Because the clock is getting late.

“Excuse me, Nada.” I said while knocking on the door of the owner's house.

Before long, the door opened. There was a middle-aged woman with a warm smile that she always gave me when she looked at me.

I kissed her hands politely, while returning her smile.

“There is aunty?” My toot.

Mama Nada shook her head quickly. “Nada has left for school.” Her speech.

No way, I've been here for 30 minutes but no one's come out of this house at all.

I smiled, “From yesterday tan?” Ask me once more.

He nodded, which indicates yes.

I nodded as I returned to politely shake this woman's hand.

“Yaudah Alden leave school first yes tan.” I said before finally turning around to walk towards my bike.

She smiled and went in and closed the door.

I walked closer to my bike. It is impossible that Nada has left school. That happy?

I don't know what he's saying or not. But, I sensed that Nada was still inside her house.

I looked back when I sensed someone was watching me.

I raised my head up, where Nada's room was located. There the curtains move. Is it because of the wind?

Not likely. The window is still closed.

POV tone

I can see Alden from above my room. He started to run his bike, left my house.

Tok...

Mom opened my room and went inside.

“Alden has gone.” He said as he picked up my blanket and replaced it with a new one.

I turned around after Alden disappeared from my house. I looked at my mom with a smile.

“Still ma,” says.

I don't know, it's really hard for me to smile.

“Antem what problem anyway?” Ask mom suddenly.

I shook my head, “No kok.” Reply immediately.

My mom stopped doing her activities. He looked at me for a moment, “If there is a problem, speak carefully. Mama believes in Alden and you. You are adults.” Mama said.

I nodded in understanding. “Abang is waiting. Tone depart first yes ma.” My pamit.

I got out of Alvaro's car, walked into the school gate. I walked through the ceremonial field to get to class.

“Lo want away from me?”

I was shocked for a moment. I heard Alden's voice right next to me.

I looked where the voice appeared. Sure enough, not far from where I was standing there was Alden looking at me.

“Gue knows your mom is lying. And stupidly, I even speed off to school to be able to meet lo.” Further.

I never understood Alden.

I scrunched my forehead, I was completely confused by his attitude, as well as his words.

“Lo true. I want to be away from lo.” I spoke briefly and then continued my journey.

“Gue Just want to clear everything. What's that hard, make you cry me?”

My legs stopped moving when Alden spoke again. I turned to look at both of his strong eyes.

I'm shaking. “It's hard, because my ears are still working. But, I have no intention to horrify the talk of lo!” Sarkartis.

I turned around and walked back to class.

“Back school, I'm on the rooftop. It's up to you to come or not. But I stayed there until you came.” Alden.

I can still hear his words. There's no way he's that crazy, waiting for me for hours on the rooftop.

He still has a clear brain to think. He couldn't hurt himself.

The time of rest has come. Some of my classmates went to the cafeteria.

“Cantine yuk.” Take Ella.

I'm shaking. “Lo aja, I'm mager.” I said while putting on a lazy face.

Ella rolled her eyes irritated. Finally, he went to the cafeteria by himself. No. gabe. With his close friend, Arya.

I took the earphones out of my pocket. Pair it on my phone, then tune Feby Putri's Halu music.

I leaned my head against the table with the focus of both my hands. I slowly closed my eyes, listening to the sound of music running.

I hold my head up when someone puts stuff on my desk.

Reza. What's he approaching me?

I took off my earphones.

“What's up?” My question's short.

Reza looked at both of my eyes sharply. “Gue knows you'll be upset if I interfere with your problems with Alden. But Nad,” he said that he deliberately hung.

I just listened willingly to her words. Turning off the song I played.

“Gue has known Alden for 3 years. I don't want to see him as fragile as he has been for the past two years.” Further.

For some reason, my heart felt touched by Reza's concern for Alden.

“Gue sure Alden said like that, he was just trying to open the same lo. He doesn't want more space for you.” His word.

I still listen to every word Reza says.

“Alden is difficult to open with others. In fact, just as I am a team and a bench only he never told me about his life at all.”

“He's just an ordinary guy trying to toughen up his life problems. Sometimes, I'm sad to see Alden who is always aloof and mature.”

My eyes were hot hearing Reza's explanation. Unfairly. Why should Reza tell Alden's pain to me.

“The facts are true. Alden dated a girl for 2 years. But he moved to London and had a girlfriend there. Alden slumped, because all he could talk to or share his likes and sorrows Just with his girlfriend.” Reza continued his story.

Clear water slowly flowed down my cheeks.

Damnit. Why so sad.

“Gue knows Nad. You have the same taste of Alden. Vice versa. Don't let ego beat everything.” Reza said, patting my hand slowly.

“Gue was afraid,” said I deliberately hung.

I looked at Reza who had been looking at me.

“Gue afraid of falling in love one-sidedly.” My speech.

“Nad is a get-together. You didn't forget, did you?” ask Ella.

I'm shaking. “Gak. I told Varo to pick me up later.” I said while putting all my stuff in the bag.

“Crazy. It's great to have a brother.” Ella.

I laugh. Always, Ella felt jealous of me who had a sister like Alvaro ready to stand by.

“Enak really have a chat that can give attention at any time.” My tease to Ella.

We laughed because we were ridiculing each other. Ella and I went to the photographer room. There were many people gathered there apparently.

While waiting for others to gather and wait for 5:00 pm. We sang and sang together.

For a moment, I forgot about my troubles while gathering with them.

The clock kept turning. The meeting began. All core members took out laptops and the others handed in a flash to collect the shots.

One by one the photi were scrutinized and viewed with jelly. The image and the edit are broken or not.

While the perfectly circular clock in my hand kept turning. I felt uneasy as I looked out the window that started to lower the rain stubs.

My heart and my mind are very troubled. I don't know what the cause is.

Meetings keep going. The sunlight had already changed into moonlight. The night has come.

Out rain. The temperature in my room was cold. The AC was deliberately turned off by Arga because everything was feeling cold.

“Lo why?” Ask Ella.

Maybe he knew that I was fretting and looking at the window earlier.

I nodded while smiling at him.

“Tone, your shots are good enough for Alden's position as center.” Said Dinda to me.

Wait for.

Alden's.

Right, Alden.

I just remembered that Alden was on the rooftop. Has he gone home?

It was impossible that he was still in the rooftop when it rained.

I smiled in response to the praise Dinda gave me.

“Good meeting we got here. Uda malem too, you guys be careful on the way.” Dani concluded the meeting.

Everyone walked out of the room and went home.

I want to go home, but I want to make sure first if Alden has come home or not.

After Reza said that to me. I feel guilty for being more concerned with my ego.

“Come,” Ella said as I stopped right in front of the door.

“Lo first time. I'd like to grab the items left behind in class.” My words quibble.

“You want me anterin?” Ask Ella.

I'm shaking. Tell Ella to go home first.

After Ella left before me, I immediately walked up to the rooftop stairs.

Actually I'm scared. It's very quiet here, and the light isn't too bright.

But I don't want to go home before making sure that there's no Alden on top.

I walked quickly because I was scared. Instead of singing takes away my fear.

Almost there. I set my feet on the roof of the school. It's very wet, lots of water around it.

I was shocked when I got someone sitting down behind me.

I can see that it's Alden. He sat down with both knees. Her clothes and hair were soaked because of the rain.

Is he not shady?

I immediately removed the hoodie I used earlier to warm my body.

I walked closer to him. Sheathed both hands of my hoodie to Alden's neck.

He looked at me and smiled with relief. Yes, I can see the smile coming out of her thin lips.

“Lo crazy huh?! Why not go home? I know rain, wind is cold but still here.” I scolded him and Alden just smiled.

Damnit.

I can't be mad at him if he just replies with his smile.

“Gue is not the type of person who reneges on his own words.” He said in a voice that sounded like shivering.

“Pake hoodie is fast,” tell me to Alden and he complies.

“You should also think about your health, there are your parents who are waiting for you to go home.” I continued to scold Alden.

He just nodded and smiled thinly.

Oh god!

Her lips are blue. He's cold at the moment. I can't bear to.

I caused Alden to wait while it rained like this.

I hugged her burly body, channeling warmth on her.

Alden took my hug. He grabbed my waist and held his arms in search of a comfortable position for us.

Alden drowned his face on my shoulder. I gently rubbed his shoulder. Give comfort.

“I never had any intention to make you an outlet,” He said softly.

I was surprised to hear Alden's so soft words.

I nodded as I continued to rub his back.

“I just want to try to open the same people who can make me comfortable.” Further.

My hand stopped rubbing Alden's back. This heartbeat seemed to work twice as much when Alden spoke like that.

“Sorry,” lirihku.

Alden took off our embrace. He looked at me from a close distance.

He shook. “I was wrong. You're right, you should have before you acted I thought first,” he said.

“You calm down, I'll take responsibility. Your feelings that arise because of what I did,” he continued by staring at both my beads.

Her platters grabbed my cheeks, rubbing them gently. “Originally you patiently help me to spare him.” Say it while smiling.

I returned his smile, then returned to his warm embrace.

Tonight, his speech was witnessed by thousands of studded stars spreading in the sky.
