Isekai Creations
Vol. 03 Chapters. 39: The Man

Layha's appearance after ten years of disappearing is big news, especially for her family who have been waiting for her return. But nevertheless...

Waking up in a dungeon, Layha, who had no idea what she had experienced before, walked out of the chair.

"What is this place?"

He kept asking about where he was. All he remembered, was the moment *Black Mist* entered his body. Layha still remembers slaughtering humans, but at that point, Layha remembers everything. After the incident, he did not know about what *Black Mist* was doing with his body all this time.

Layha tried to walk out of the cave where he woke up, step by step he lived, Layha often passed with monsters in the cave but, he felt astonished about why the monsters, the monsters, it looks like he respects himself.

He really doesn't know what's going on.

However, it was a fortune for him, because he did not have to feel pain while trying to avoid the ambush of the monsters.

"Huh, really, this is weird."

After a long time he walked up, he finally arrived. At first Layha did not feel the strangeness that happened to her just that, when she realized that she had not eaten anything for days, Layha was surprised.

"Why don't I feel hungry? Didn't I walk for days? To thirst. This is strange. I rarely feel thirsty during the journey."

"What's really going on...."

Although she wondered about what Black Mist* had been doing all this time, Layha, herself kept looking forward.

Layha is determined to continue living because now, the control of her body has become hers again.

"Woah, that something really makes me look different... I love my long hair but... ugh, what the hell is this? Short messy hair? Does he never use natural shampoo? Or at least she learned to do hair! Ugh, I'm really surprised by how I look."

"In addition, these horns, ears, teeth, and tails...? I'm a demon? Huh, from a beautiful and beautiful girl, turned into a demon girl who was quite terrible... huh, how should I deal with this?" layha said muttering in her heart.

Layha continued his path after a moment of reflection on the lake filled with fresh water from the mountains. He also took the time to take a shower for a while before in the end, he had to go back to walking somewhere.

After walking far enough away, he finally saw a city that looked like a cemetery. Layha actually really wants to find a city that is crowded with residents because according to him, the city can explain what has happened so far and, what date is today. That was Layha's true intention. However, even though she had surrounded the city, Layha only found various vagabonds scattered everywhere. Like they're waiting for soft prey to hunt. Like, bandits....? But can the citizens of the city be categorized as robbers? Bandits and robbers are the same!

"Devil...."

"He came to curse us back..."

"Don't look at him!"

"Don't look him in the eye..."

Such were the words he often heard during his walk in the neighborhood of the city. Broadly speaking, Layha's body is arguably no longer a human being. Half a demon, maybe that name is more suitable for his current self.

The words thrown by the mother to her son, middle-aged man, and other vagabonds, apparently had an impact on Layha's feelings. As long as he walked around the city, he only met faces that were terrified of him. There was nothing special he could find in the city, including food.

During Layha surrounded the city, he never once saw the farmland or plantations owned by the townspeople. He also never saw a merchant who sells anything other than rats, lizards, and various other pests that are found in the slums.

It was a city that was almost dead. Layha was moved to help the townspeople however, her status as a half demon, hindering her from doing any good to someone.

Satan is always viewed as bad by most people. This made Layha unable to speak directly to humans. Man always runs away when he sees the devil. Similarly, what will happen later when Layha begins to find a city that is truly alive and worthy of habitation.

Day after day passed, Layha had very long walked towards the direction determined by the wind direction. If the wind goes North, it goes North, and so does the other direction. After waking from her sleep Layha always uses the direction of the wind to determine her new steps to start the day.

In the end, the wind leads him back to his hometown. Although it took up to three months, Layha never once gave up on the path she took. And here's what he got.

"Isn't that?" aware of the characteristics of the city of her birth, Layha suddenly ran as hard as she could to the city. The city that was once almost extinct, is now seen still standing firmly in its original place.

"There!" seeing a wooden house with a shape that makes Layha feel as if she is nostalgic! Layha then knocked on the door.

"Dad mom!!! I'm home!" as she continued to knock on the door, Layha called her Mom and Dad who should be there.

"Dad? Mommy?!" however, even though she had been knocking for a long time, Layha still had not received an answer from her parents.

"Dad?! Mommy?!!" no matter how many calls she made, Layha never got a reply from her parents. Slowly he began to feel anxious, until over time, he began to really feel worried because the door of his house was also locked tightly.

"Who's looking, son?" as her panic begins to take hold of her, Layha intends to try to break down the door of her parents' house. However, when he had such intentions, there was a middle-aged woman who asked him.

"Dad and my mom. They both live in this place. Do you know where they are?"

"If you may know who you are, beautiful? I feel familiar when I see your face."

"Layha Namsaka of the Namsaka family."

"Layha.. ah, I remember!" after the middle-aged woman remembered everything, she then pulled Layha's arm to take her somewhere.

With a slow step, the middle-aged woman took Layha to a place that Layha did not know about.

After arriving there, Layha was surprised by two human skulls nailed to a wooden board, apparently, the skull had only died for about 10 years.

Layha wondered about what she saw while continuing to hope that they were not her parents but fate said something else.

The middle-aged woman said that the two skulls that were glued to the board, were the skulls of her parents. And, just after her words made Layha shocked to the point that her legs were limp, the middle-aged woman, then called the villagers to come to the place where Layha was standing there.

"What the fuck?"

"Do you think we believe that you are Layha Namsaka?! With that horn of yours, you think we believe it?!" the screams of the middle-aged woman were accompanied by cheers from the citizens who did not want Layha's presence there.

After shouting this, all the citizens of the city, began to attack Layha who was still not awake from where she fell. He quickly dodged his instincts to make the movements he had to do directly without requiring approval from Layha's consciousness itself. That's instinct.

"I'm not a demon!!! I really am the Layha you know!!!"

"lik! Layha never learned about martial arts or magic techniques. You have become a demon!!"

"Please trust me! I am Layha! I'm not a demon!"

"Whisper!"

No matter how much Layha said to the townspeople, that, Layha's entire speech was no longer meaningful, all she could do was attack, or, dodge. There are only two things he can do right now.

Due to her human consciousness, Layha seeks an opportunity to escape from the townspeople who attack her. He tried to escape by running hard after seeing the gap to escape from his current situation.

"Basic demon!"

A month passed since the day that Layha received ill treatment from the residents who occupied her hometown. Not only his parents were killed, now Layha is also hunted by the residents of the city where his birth. No, since his current status was a demon, most likely, Layha would be continuously hunted by humans. In general, a demon that looked weak would only be hunted. Although, in fact, the devil is a very strong creature, but, if the demon looks stupid and looks weak in the eyes of humans, automatically humans will consider the demon as a weak creature. Basically, the devil is above man.

"....."

Walking while thinking about the atrocities committed by the citizens of the city where he was born, Layha Namsaka did not realize that she had been in a city that looked quite large. Not only that, the city looks like a living city.

Layha hopes that the city will be the beginning of her beginning to start a new life, alone, without family. With just his new body.

"Well, where is this beautiful lady going?" while at the entrance gate, just as he had entered the kingdom that made himself a slave, Layha was seduced by several guards.

"You mean, me?"

"Yes, that's you. You are so beautiful. What's your purpose in coming to this place, sweetie?" the Guard praised Layha without regard to Layha's current appearance.

"Yes... Uncle just called me pretty?"

"Yes right, by the way, don't call me Uncle. I'm still quite young. Just call me, brother."

"Hmmm. excuse me.." out of doubt for the hospitality of the Guard guard guarding the left side of the entrance, Layha tried to talk to the guard to her right.

"Yes?"

"Am I pretty?"

"Sure!"

"Seriously?"

"Yes..."

"By the way, lady, why do you keep asking about whether you're beautiful?" the guard on his left asked him.

"Soalah...didn't you see my horn? A tail? My ears and teeth? Not only that, aren't my pupils a little creepy?"

"Then why?"

"Huh?!"

"For us, you are so charming. No matter where your race comes from, we always accept someone even from a different race. Because the purpose of our city is, to be happy together!"

"Huh?"

"Don't be afraid of us. From the look in your eyes, you've experienced bad things with big cities, am I right?" the guard on his right.

"It's not really a city, it's a kingdom."

"Hmm, kingdom?"

"Remember there was once a kingdom that was destroyed by mystical powers?" layha.

"A kingdom destroyed by a demon with human mediation? He said the slave they were holding had the power to raise a demon?"

"That's true..."

"So you're from there? What are you, you're the devil?" suddenly the eyes of the two guards changed and looked intimidating.

"That's how...."

"...." the two guards looked surprised by Layha's statement. Hoping for Layha to be surprised by their jokes, however, the two guards were instead taken aback by Layha herself.

"Hahaha... You must be having tough days huh? What if you go around town first? Do you need money?"

"Ah, about money. It's just that, if possible, I want a job that will keep me alive."

"Is that so? In that case, try you to go to the adventurer guild office. Usually they hire someone from another race like you."

"... Thank you very much."
