CHAPTER 22

"Let's open your mouth, Berliana. If you don't get sick later." said Keenan he knew that Berliana was on hunger strike from last night.

Berliana was forced to open her mouth she was afraid if Keenan would be rude to her if she did not comply with his wishes.

"How does it feel, hem ?" ask Keenan gently.

"Enak" replied Berliana briefly he was confused by the man before him now yesterday - yesterday Keenan looked at her with hatred and always treated her badly. But what now ? Keenan turned 180° on her she changed sweeter attitude towards him.

Berliana wondered if Keenan would kill him like in novels. The kidnapper who treats his captive with sweetness and attention when the prisoner will soon die at the hands of his captor.

Berliana became even more afraid of her body breaking out in cold sweat. His fear grew even more so when Keenan wiped the sweat on his forehead with his handkerchief.

"You're sweating, are you sick ?" asked Keenan gently and worriedly.

"Ti.no" replied Berliana he was not sick but afraid of Keenan's sweet attitude to her.

"From now on you can come in and out of the room. But not to get out of this house." Keenan told Berliana.

Berliana's eyes sparkled when she heard Keenan's words if she was no longer locked in the room. "Be.really ?" ask Berliana.

Keenan smiled and nodded his head maybe it was better for him to give freedom to Berliana. But he was still afraid what if Berliana left when Berliana found out why she had locked up Berliana.

"Do whatever makes you happy in this house, on condition that you never leave me." Keenan said staring at Berliana's bead eyes.

Berliana glad to play in his heart he cheered happily finally he will not be locked again by Keenan in the room. Berliana certainly has the intention to run away from the house. He will devise a plan to go far away from Keenan so that Keenan cannot find him again. But one of the most important he will continue to search for the whereabouts of his brother, Jonathan.

"I'm sorry for continuing to hurt you by forcing you to stay by my side. All I've done is to keep you away from me, because I want to make amends to you and keep my promise fifteen years ago." keenan said in his heart he looked at Berliana's face with a heart full of regret.
