43. The Road to Peace

After a heartbreaking fight in Nara's room, the atmosphere in the hospital became increasingly tense. Nara, Farel, and Sonia were struck by the sharp words of Mr. Abraham. They feel hurt and lose hope of improving relationships with other family members.

All these years, Ms. Clarissa lived with Mr. Abraham as an amateur. He learned of his affair with Bu Sonia in the past, but he was steadfast and managed to maintain his marriage. She was even willing to see the child from her husband's affair befriend her son because Edgar himself did not know Farel was her brother.

"Sir, what's going on? Why are you so angry?" ask Ms. Clarissa anxiously.

Mr. Abraham looked at Ms. Clarissa, her face still full of anger. "Mom, did you know that Farel, and Nara, your daughter-in-law, are united against us? They're trying to use Edgar to take over our family business!" mr. Abraham did not explain his quarrel because of the presence of Ms. Sonia. He even made up stories.

Ms. Clarissa was shocked to hear the allegations. "What are you talking about, Abraham? You mean, they banded together to take over the family business?"

Abraham nodded in anger. "Yes, they both want to master everything. They've been plotting to destroy our family! I came to their room just to find the reason behind this conflict. They used a weapon with the fetus from his vile deeds. Especially Farel, you already know who he is and what he has to do with me. As my son, he was obviously jealous of Edgar and must have had some sort of treasure fight done by him. This must be on Sonia's advice!"

Hearing Farel and Bu Sonia's name, Ms. Clarissa was stunned. Because he knew who they were and hadn't heard that name in a long time.

Ms. Clarissa tried to deal with the situation with a cold head. "We need to talk to them, find out what's really going on. Let's find a solution together."

Abraham still had a hard time accepting the idea. "But what if they really want to take over everything? What if they want to take us down?"

Ms. Clarissa calmed down her husband, "We must not be prejudiced first. Let's talk to them, hear their reasons, and find the best way to solve this problem."

Meanwhile, Nara, Farel, and Sonia also spoke in Nara's room. They feel hurt and confused by the situation.

Nara tried to find a way out of this situation. "We have to talk to him, explain our reasons, and try to make him understand. We cannot allow this conflict to drag on. Our families need to be united."

Ms. Sonia added, "We may have made mistakes in the past, but we are both also trying to fix things. We have to give ourselves a chance to learn and grow together."

"Mother, Nara, why do you insist on mending a relationship with her? I don't understand the way you think." Farel said in surprise.

Sonia nodded, her tears welling up. "I'm afraid I'm gonna lose you, Farel. I'm afraid he really kicked me out of your life."

"Madam, let's work together to find the best solution. We don't want anyone to feel driven away or lost" Nara said gently.

After speaking with an honest heart, Nara, Farel, and Sonia decide to confront Mr. Abraham with honesty and express their good intentions. They believe that only by speaking openly and sincerely can they possibly find ways to ease tensions and improve family relationships.

In the end, when Ms. Clarissa found out the real situation, she tried to be the liaison between Mr. Abraham, Nara, Farel, and Sonia. He arranged a family meeting full of honesty and sincerity.

In the meeting, all family members end up listening to each other. Nara, Farel, and Sonia sincerely express their regret and intention to improve the relationship with the family. They also denied the allegations were untrue and explained that they wanted to unite and keep the family intact by forgetting the past.

Mr. Abraham was moved by their sincerity. Although his emotions were still difficult to control, he began to open his heart to listen to their reasoning. He also realized that as the head of the family, his responsibility was to find a path to peace and happiness for all family members.
