Chapter 18

John is in the fog looking for Palupi. His mind was instantly muddled to see the room window wide open.

In his mind was Palupi running away? A flash of Riris shadow appeared, within his brain.

Could it be that Riris followed her to this villa and kidnapped her? John is traumatized by a kidnapping.

"Geeh!" Shouted John while patting his forehead and shaking his head to regain his senses.

He rushed out looking for a trace under the window of the room on the second floor, through the side door.

"There's no way Gulizar could have dropped himself from that window, this distance is very dangerous! Where is the girl now?"

John asked inwardly, This midnight search left him extremely frustrated and annoyed.

With a quick step he immediately entered back into the room. But suddenly, John's bead eyes found a shadow from the direction of the kitchen. He slowly stepped his foot into the kitchen with a little slack so as not to sound like anyone.

John enthusiastically chased the shadow, by grabbing and carrying a golf stick stored near the shoe rack.

"Don't move!" Shouted John preparing to swing the golf stick.

"Mahhkk.....!"

Praanck..... The sound of the glass falling and the screaming made noise in the kitchen. Rushing Merry woke up and also ran closer towards the onset of the commotion.

"Gulizar...! What are you doing here?" John threw a golf stick and approached Palupi, who sat down and bowed his head in the bottom corner of the kitchen cabinet, with a frightened look.

"Oh.sorry," said John while scratching his head that did not itch. "What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be sleeping in your room?" The consecutive questions led to Palupi.

John then approached and hugged while helping the frightened girl stand up.

Likewise Merry approached with trembling hands giving drinking water to Palupi.

"Miss Gulizar, tell me what happened to you? Good thing Mr. Norman didn't do a beating on you. He could've thought he'd break into our house."

Still frightened and trembling, Palupi replied,

"Merry... I want to drink warm water, my stomach suddenly feels cramping and sore."

Palupi grabbed a glass filled with warm water and drank it, then returned it to Merry.

Hearing the word sick, John immediately held Palupi, then slowly laid him on a sofa chair not far from the kitchen area.

"Master release! I'm fine, I can walk on my own, you're much more." Palupi revolted but Palupi's power was clearly incapable of resisting John Norman's power.

After lying down, Palupi pushed John's chest away while throwing his face away.

John looked at Palupi with pity, then approached. "Be quiet, lady, you're still sick. I'll take you to the upstairs room, and I promise I won't bring omes's ghost along."

Two of John's fingers were pointing at his head, signifying a temporary agreement between them.

Palupi nodded resignedly, because the stomach pain he experienced this time was still very extraordinary.

Slowly John held a bridal-style Palupi without a wedding dress.

John followed him slowly from behind Palupi, "Master. What are you gonna do?"
