Ch 59 - Important Lessons

We cuddled. Alex's body is shaking. It seems he is holding back a cry. I'm really moved. Then Alex pulled my body until I sat on her lap.

Her eyes are red. He looked at me deeply. Alex stroked my cheeks while tidying up my hair.

"Thank you for keeping it. I'm sorry..."

"Yes, I've forgiven you. I'm sorry, too..." Alex kissed my forehead and hugged me warmly. I feel very happy.

That morning Alex decided not to go to the company. He said the company's problems were over. He wanted to rest for a few days, but he had only been in for a day. It's great to be a GH, to be able to take time off at will.

Alex deactivated the video and sound display for a while. It does so that the subordinates do not see and hear our conversation.

"Sit here." Alex patted his thighs. I shook my head firmly.

Just crazy!! He was meeting zo*m with his subordinates, and he told me to sit on his lap?! Really crazy, right?!

"here." Alex pulled my hand until I fell on his lap. "I told you to sit here." Alex wrapped both of his hands around my waist, making me go nowhere.

"But you're still working..."

"I turned off the video and the sound. Sit quietly, don't make a sound, okay... Cup..." He kissed my lips at a glance before re-enabling the sound settings, while the video settings remained inactivated.

"I want to hear the responses per branch. Are your obstacles to overcome this? I don't want to hear the classic reason, customers are hard to persuade. Give me a more specific reason." Alex's tone of voice this time was calmer. He spoke while occasionally kissing my cheeks. I met red.

I stared at the laptop screen. There are hundreds of accounts joining. I stared at the videos on the screen. My eyes were fixed when I saw someone I knew. Yeah, I saw Andre's face and my old BM, Mr. Arif. They look tense.

Seeing Andre, making old memories spring up. How is that guy doing now? Is she okay? Does he hate me? I remember, Andre's ring was still in my suitcase. I should have returned the ring immediately...

After that several branches began to express their respective obstacles. I wanted to get off Alex's lap, but the man held me back by further tightening his arms around my waist.

The meeting was longer than I imagined. I'm getting sleepy. Unaware I fell asleep in Alex's lap.

"Hum..." I hid my face under the blanket. It's a shame Alex was watching me while I was sleeping.

"Hungry?"

"Yes, pretty..."

"What do you want to eat here downstairs?"

"Below alone."

"Go take a shower there. Just ate."

"Hum..." Alex kissed my forehead and got out of bed. He took his phone back and called here and there.

I got up and went straight to the bathroom. I'm glad Alex was with me all day. I'm very selfish. My heart is getting greedy. I want to master it. Geez, why does my heart become evil like this?

"Khansa, don't bathe for long."

"Ehm yes..."

I came out of the bathroom with my hair wrapped in a towel. My eyes immediately looked at Alex's. Apparently the man was waiting for me right in front of the bathroom door.

"I told you, take a shower don't take long." Alex took a towel in my hair and started to help me dry it.

"I can do it myself."

"Here sit." Alex pulled my hand, made me sit down in front of the dresser. Then she started to dry my hair gently.

I sometimes wonder how Alex treats me. As if that man loved me. There was a feeling of wonder in my heart, actually how did Alex feel about me?

But then I remembered. Alex High School is good. He's the best person for me. His kindness makes me feel ashamed. It made me fall in love, but still Alex chose Diana. Alex's feelings right now must be like that. She considers me to be her dear friend, while her heart remains for Diana.

"Well, it's getting dry. Let's eat first. After that, I'll teach you an important lesson."

"What lesson?" Brain thinks. Could it be a lesson about bank products or insurance?

"Lessons on how to satisfy a husband in bed."

"Uhuk!! Uhuk!!"
