"Wuaah, I'm flattered you know a little bit of my personal life, Willson. So you're spying on me?" Steve looked at Darren from behind his dense, plump eyelashes. Looks sharp and waving.
"You'd be surprised to know that I know more than you think, Ivarez. Ah, or should I call you, Steven Percy?!"
Steven was unmoved, for quite a long time, the two men were just staring at each other. While Pax, just pay attention to the two men.
Steve brushed Darren's hand from his collar, ridding his shirt of Darren's handprints followed by a laugh filled with hatred and disgust.
"I was busy thinking about how to properly introduce myself, it turned out that what I did was just a waste." Steve said as he gritted his teeth, his attempts at self-control were evident in his chest muscles as well as his shoulders. "Since there is nothing to hide anymore," he deliberately hung his sentence. Now his gaze was fixed on Pax Willson still with similar mimicry. Hatefully. "Lexi is mine!" It was a statement of leadership that was full of powerful tone typical of men.
A rude snort sounded, "To make it a weapon to avenge you?" darren's tidings fiercely.
"It seems I need to rectify my words about you knowing a little bit of my life. You seem to care so much about me, that you use your precious time to watch over me." Steve's gaze did not shift at all from Pax, even though the sentence was thrown to Darren. Steve's hatred for the figure before him was so blazing as if there was no way to make peace.
"It was too busy watching me, not realizing that the girl you were protecting had even lost her world. Destroyed, until nothing else could be arranged. Behind the cheerful smile shown before all of you, he could barely save himself. She was weak and fragile, but pretended to look fine. But my question is, dear Pax Willson, why did you send me to that damn prison?!" his hands clenched together forming a fist. However, his mind made a sound, it was not yet time to vent his anger. He did not want his emotions today to ruin all the plans he had put together. Self-control, Steve has to keep his emotions. Stay calm, don't let your opponent take advantage of the slight loophole that could obliterate all plans just because of a momentary emotion.
"What do you know about Lexi?!" hissing fiercely, not liking Steve's statement about his sister. Okay, Lexi did have a great trauma, but isn't her sister healed? The doctor also stated that.
"Not as much as you know," Steven's circus turned his gaze at Darren. "Because it seems you don't have the answer to my question, Pax Willson, you'd better get a doctor to treat my wound." Steve walked past the two men. Enter the house before you are even welcome.
Pax and Darren stared at each other. Then compact exhale.
"All we're dealing with is a vengeful man."
"And we're the one who got him in that position," Pax exhaled heavily again.
"What about Lexi? I won't be able to stay silent if he hurts Lexi again."
"Once again, we're making this situation even worse, Dude." Pax patted his son on the shoulder, then moved from there, following Steven into the house.
____
Steve crossed the main hall, his steps halted when he saw Lexi coming down the stairs. The two face each other. The girl exhaled while rolling her eyeballs as if he was careless looking at the man. His attitude was very inversely proportional to the medicine box in his hand.
"I don't think you care if I'm alive or dead."
"Indeed." Lexi continued on. The girl approached him and invited him to sit on the sofa.
"Then, what's the medicine box in your hand for?"
"I don't care if you're dead or alive. But I care where you die? At least not in front of me. Jesus, Layla's really tough. You're battered." Lexi pulled Steve's hand violently and without warning directly poured alcohol on the wound. Intentions want to prank the man, Lexi actually found flat nose Steve. The man did not grimace at all.
"Didn't it hurt?"
"sick."
"Then why does your face look relaxed?"
"Would if I screamed his wound would heal?"
Steve smiled, "It's a pain, Lexi. Why did you do it? What mistake? Tell me, let me fix it."
Oh my God, why do the words that come out of his mouth always contain poison. My pulse is pounding incoherently. The mouth of this man in front of me is too sweet and dangerous.
Upset by her body's reaction, Lexi took the cotton swab and pressed the wound firmly. Steve again and again just put on a calm face.
"Based thief! You must suffer. Layla should eat your fingers!"
"I'd kill Layla if you didn't admire her."
Steve's statement clearly made Lexi a little surprised. Some more! Yeah, again, he found his heart hammering, as if he had run a marathon many miles away. Lexi felt like she was really starting to go crazy.
"I'm not bragging." Steve pulled a gun out of the back of his suit. The weapon he could have pulled the trigger on when Layla started attacking him. "I also have a poisoned knife" Steve lowered his head, taking a small knife from behind his heel. "Your layla could die in my hands."
"Cruel!"
"But I didn't do it, that's the point, Princess."
Silent for a moment, the two just fell silent while staring at each other.
"For a while, I probably won't be able to see you."
"Where are you going?" The reaction from Lexi was so quick. He was surprised himself.
"Healing my wounds. Don't wander as long as I'm not around."
"God! Hang around? Hey, I don't need your permission if I'm going anywhere, Ivarez!"
"It's an order."
"I'm..."
"Don't argue with me if you don't want me to do something nice with your mouth."
Steve's threat of reflex made Lexi cover her mouth with both hands. Protect yourself from the kiss thief.
"Why did you shut your mouth? Does he intend to...." Darren stopped his words. Unable to complete his own words.
"Why what?" Steve challenged him. The man's face was annoying, challenging the Willson men to want to fight jotos with him.
"Act like a gentleman, young man." Pax flashed a dislike look at him that Steven replied with a tenfold unsheathed look.
"No need to teach me about honorable men, Willson. I think you know better what you call a cowardly man! And as for your daughter, I made a decision governed by my brain, not by my testosterone." Steve got out of the chair. He walked slowly, relaxed and stylish. It stands right between Pax and Darren. Then he leaned his head a little.
"Yes, as I admit, my testosterone levels are often unstable when it's close to your daughter." He whispered in a rude tone. There really is no man's character on this one. His statement clearly made the two men angry. Their faces were red withstanding emotions. "Today I'm returning your daughter, but next time, I'll steal her." He patted the shoulders of the two and passed away.
