A Statement

Reihan took off his tie, he was already getting sultry with his overly formal appearance.

"Go home?" ask Gina.

"I'll wait for Melin." replied Reihan as he kept the tie in his bag.

"We go home first" Nathan told Gina.

"Go! Don't date in front of me!" chirps Reihan.

Nathan and Gina were two weeks before graduation.

"Ciieeh..., envy...?! Say boss...!!!" sahut Nathan's.

"Rei...!!!"

Everyone looks towards the door. Anya was already standing there.

"He again.." murmured Gina.

"Rei, can I have a chat for a second?" anya said softly.

"We'd better go!" Nathan holds Gina's hand.

"Be careful." whispered Gina to Reihan.

"It's best to talk outside" he said as he grabbed his backpack.

Anya just follow. As long as he can talk to Reihan.

"What's up?" reihan asked when they were in a crowded place.

"This is for you, Rei. As a reward because you made the best graduate." Anya thrusts a pepperbag at Reihan.

Reihan is not flinching.

"Rei.., at least you can accept this. Although I have not been able to repay my feelings for you." Anya said.

"As a friend." Reihan said. Anya nodded with a fluffy smile.

"Thanks" Reihan said. "I have to see Melin." Reihan moved from his place.

Hearing the name made Anya squeeze her fingers. He looks very upset.

While in the hall, Melin was busy tidying up chairs and other supplies with her friends.

"Well...!!" grunts Melin. "I'm taking a break, yeah, guys...!" said.

Reihan who had just entered, immediately approached Melin.

"So this is what made you not want to go home?!" Reihan looks very angry.

Without saying much, Reihan took off his bag and put it next to Melin.

Reihan intervened to help some in the hall. Reihan also approached the OSIS chairman who was there as well.

"Please don't involve yourself in activities like this. Even if he's forcing." whispered Reihan. "He's sick."

After that Reihan returned to Melin.

The car did not go even though both were inside.

"Sense something?" ask Reihan.

"Papa heard Reihan is the best graduate" said papa Adi.

"Yes, pa." Melin replied.

But in mama Yunita there is a sense of happiness, because her husband has changed. He's getting warmer, and he's joking a lot now.

"Feeling papa won't miss, ma. Between them it's like there's chemistry." said papa Adi.

"Hopefully yes." papa smiled expectantly.

Meanwhile Melin who had arrived in her room immediately locked the door of her room.

"Why the hell? Wrongly taking the medicine." his grunts while laying down on the mattress.

Mama Yunita's voice sounded as she knocked on the door. Melin immediately went down and opened the door for her mother.

"Sir Mika's in the hospital. Mom and dad are going there."

"Why ma? Lahiran?" ask Melin.

"Yes, baby."

Then Melin drove her parents to the front door. This time Papa Adi didn't drive himself. He's taking Uncle Lukman.

"Do you have to ask Reihan to come here?" ask the papa.

"No, pa. There are still a lot of people at home. I'm not going anywhere anyway." replied Melin.

"alright. Papa go first, get some rest." papa Adi kissed Melin's forehead.

"Yes. Papa."

After their departure, Melin went back into the house.

"Bi, I haven't locked the door yet. Fear later aunt wants to come out ngedate same security complex." joked Melin.
