DSL 08 - The Death of a Pair of Lovebirds

Siti and Abigail arrive at the hospital riding on clothes. Both of them went straight to the emergency room that was there. Both were greeted by the entire family from Robert's side who were crying hysterically there.

Grasping Abigail's hand, Siti went in and saw the doctor who was there.

"Excuse me, doc. We are from the Rini family" said Siti.

"We're sorry, ma'am. Ms. Rini was dead when she was brought here. The accident that happened made Rini's mother lose a lot of blood and bleeding in her brain so we medical team could not save her. Forgive us" the doctor explained. Siti closed her mouth and immediately hugged Abigail's body. He cried while tightly hugging his friend's son who is now gone.

"Mom? W-what did the doctor say? I-mother why? Th-that must be a lie, right?" Abigail asked with her empty eyes. His ears were deaf, his body frozen without being able to move at all.

"Patience, Abi. Remember, there is still the Lord Jesus with us. Your mother has calmed down there" whispered Siti as she continued to hug Abigail's body. As if awakening from the daydream, Abigail screamed hysterically like a madman there.

"NO! NAY! MAMA! DON'T LEAVE ABI, MA'AM. MAMA! MAMA! NO, GOD. DON'T TAKE MY MOTHER. NO, GOD. ABI'S LAW ALONE, BUT DON'T TAKE ABI'S MOTHER. NO. NOPE. MAMA! MOMMY!"

Little Abigail roared, crying hysterically unwilling to accept the fact that her mother had left her. As powerful as Abigail tried to escape from the embrace of Siti and want to run on her mother. But what power, power is not comparable Siti older and mature than him.

"Stop, Abi. Don't do this, pity your mother. He will be sad to see you like this" Siti said as she continued to cry. He also felt lost because Rini was his best friend who came from village to city and finally could go to school and work in the same place. He also knew how the love story of his best friend and he also told everything to Abigail.

Belinda Carlisle's. Robert's wife is also the daughter of the owner of the largest restaurant in Jakarta named Carlisle Kitchen. He loves both his children and his parents. She was shocked to hear of the accident involving her husband. It was even more painful when Belinda found out that her husband was in an accident with his honey. "Sa-sick," said Abigail, crying hysterically. Neither the nurses, doctors, nor the guards there could help because Belinda's family threatened them all.

"ABIGIAL!" Shouted Siti. Then he immediately approached Abigail's limp body and hugged her. His heart was so wounded watching how ruthlessly Robert's wife beat up the innocent Abigail.

"Remember this word of mine. I'll never let this kid be happy as long as he's alive. With my own hands, I make sure this bastard will suffer and beg for his own death on me." After saying that, Belinda left followed by her entire family.

After they all left, Siti was able to remove Abigail's body and ask the doctor to examine it.

"How cruel is the world to you, son. You're just a victim but it's like you're the main culprit. I can only pray that you will be strong enough to survive in this unjust world. I believe God is not sleeping. He'll send a guardian angel for you. I'm sure of that" muttered Siti while kissing the back of Abigail's hand which had now been attached to the infusion hose. Abigail received treatment for two days in the hospital. While Rini was buried that day and all the needs have been taken care of by Siti, considering Rini an orphan who has no relatives at all in the city.
