DSL 03 - Five years later

A sweet, long-haired girl was running around on the shore. The look on his face looked very happy when his feet touched the sea waves that came crashing down. His long mane fluttered everywhere following the direction of the wind that blew fiercely. His laughter sounded loud to everyone around him.

"Alice," the sweet girl stopped. He twisted his body, his eyes twinkling with sparkle as he looked at the figure of the man who came to him.

"Father," cried the beautiful girl as she ran to the father with her hands stretched out. The man who saw the princess immediately smiled and crouched down. He greeted the princess' tiny body and immediately lifted it when it came to the embrace. He carried the small body around in circles to make the little girl scream for her to come down.

"Stop, Dad. Stop it, I'm so dizzy." Strangled the girl while hitting the chest of the father's field. The man chuckled and showered the princess' face with a kiss.

"You're so adorable, baby. Papa loves you very much" said the man, continuing to kiss the child's face. The little boy whined in shame and they became the center of attention of everyone there.

Since today is Sunday, Alvin invites the princess to spend time together. The two circled the city of Jakarta all day until now ended on the Ancol beach when the day began in the afternoon.

On this occasion, Alvin completely distanced himself from his phone and focused only on the princess. Especially considering tomorrow Alice has started attending school in one of Indonesia's elite schools.

"Oh yes, dear. We're starting school tomorrow, yeah. Don't be naughty, follow what the teacher said." Alvin told Alice. The two are currently walking hand in hand. Although there was Sister Lani who always took care of Alice, but Alvin did not take her today. The man really wants to have quality time with the child.

"Ready, Boss. Papa's gonna drop Alice off tomorrow, right? Right, right?" Alice asked with her face shining. Anxious Alvin instantly pulled on Alice's puffed cheeks while laughing crisply.

"Yes, Honey. Papa will take you and Sister Lani. Remember, don't trouble Sister. Okay?" Alvin asked while giving his palm to Alice.

"Okay," cried Alice as she joined her own palm with the palm of the papa. The two are so compact in each of their togetherness. Despite being a single parent, but Alvin tried his best so that his son did not lack affection. Therefore he still remains at his parents' house so that the child does not feel lonely if left by him while working.

The sound of worms began to be heard from inside Alice's small stomach. Alvin instantly stopped his steps and crouched down in front of the princess.

"I'm hungry, Pa." Whine Alice with her adorable face. Both of his cheeks met red because of the shame of 3 stomach voices that sounded bold when they were in public. Alvin chuckles then he immediately lifts Alice's body and holds her.

"You're so cute, Baby. Let's go, we'll eat before we go home. Okay well? What is Alice going to eat?" Alvin asked as he started walking off the beach.

"Hm, want a steak, Dad. Let's eat the meat steak at the yellow restaurant" Alice told Alvin.

Alvin and Alice got into the car after they put their shoes back on after clearing their feet of beach sand. The two sang together all the way to the yellow restaurant. Alice who did not have much chance, as much as possible she spent time with Alvin as much as possible. After driving for about forty minutes, finally their car arrived at the parking area of the famous restaurant.

"Come, Honey. We go down" Alvin told Alice. According to Alice, the two began walking into the resto.

Full up. The famous restaurant never once did not have many visitors. Almost everyone loves the food there. Besides being delicious, the place is very cozy and comfortable. There is also a play area for children who come with their families.

"That's a lot, Alice. Still want to eat here?" Ask Alvin. Actually he was also very hungry, but seeing so crowded made him a little uncomfortable and did not want to be there any longer.

"But Alice wants to eat steak here, Dad." Whining Alice. Alvin could only sigh, he would do anything to realize the child's wishes.

"alright. Come on, let's find a seat first." Take Alvin. The two walked cautiously, looking around Resti looking for the existence of an empty chair for both of them.

"That, Pa. There," pointed Alice at a table where a woman was sitting in one of her chairs.

"Alice is hungry, Pa." Alice Sahut.

"Yes already. Come on, let's ask." Alvin. The two walked over to a table in the right corner of the restaurant.

"Excuse me" Alvin said upon arrival at the table. Slowly the girl who was down enjoying her food looked up. Without both of them realizing their views were locked onto each other.

"I-yes," said the girl clumsy. He immediately turned his gaze away from the straight man in front of him.

"Em, I'm sorry if you can sit here. There's no more empty space, and we're hungry." Alvin was honest. He could not lie to the fact that he and the child had been starving since. The girl nodded small assentingly.

"Oh, please. I happen to be alone too. Come, brother. Sit down" said the girl with a sweet smile. Alice involuntarily smiled as she looked at him.

"Thank you. Come on, sit down nice Alice." Alvin said then took the child to sit in a chair opposite the girl.

Shortly after, Alvin called the waiter and began to say their order. While waiting for the food to come, Alvin gives his cell phone to Alice. He gave it to her as Alice's boredom killer.

The girl slowly rubbed her lips after finishing her meal. He looked at the little boy in front of him with a small smile. Alvin is busy with his tablet.

"Sorry, Sir. May I say something" said the girl suddenly. Alvin who was focused on the stock chart immediately collapsed and looked at him.

"Yes?" alvin Sahut.

"Please, Sir. If possible, do not get used to your child playing mobile phones too close to the eyes. It can later be fatal later," the girl said gently. He turned his gaze to Alice who was busy with her garden game. Alvin also followed the direction of the girl's view, he only realized if his daughter was too close to the screen of his phone.

"Alice, don't get too close, honey. Later his eyes hurt," said Alvin to him while keeping the phone away from the face of the child. Alice grimaced while looking at the papa.

"Sorry, Pa. Hihihi,"

Soon their food came. Coinciding with that, the girl was done and wanted to leave from there.

"Then, excuse me. Come on Sir, Brother." After saying that, the girl left the place that was the subscription she ate. Alvin was seen staring at the girl's departure.

"Beautiful, Pa. Hihihi," whispered Alice with a giggling smile. Alvin peeked towards the princess.

"Gst .... Let's go eat. Don't talk anymore,"

"Okay, Pa."

Both of them enjoyed the meal quietly. Alice would occasionally throw questions at Alvin. Alvin himself patiently answered all the questions from the child. They really enjoyed this day with great joy.
