Chapter 44 The Truth of the Palace Attack

Julliane secretly bribed the servants of the Orsin and Crowley residence to give their master sleeping pills. Julliane's plan worked, they fell asleep in the room. With a sneak, he took Kyler and Orsin away to the palace before anyone suspected. 

Not bothering to bribe Beckett's bodyguards, Julliane kept the bodyguards busy by making a mess outside the inn. As soon as the bodyguard left his master, Julliane immediately went into Beckett's room and hit the prince's nape. Quickly he put Beckett in a horse-drawn carriage to the palace.

These three main character candidates were tied to seats so as not to run away. Julliane called her family to witness the confessions of the three men.

"What are you doing Julliane?" ask Leroy growled. Her first daughter's unpredictable behavior made her dizzy. Sometimes Julliane is troublesome, sometimes it can also help. If it's throwing a tantrum, Leroy is overwhelmed. Moreover, his opponent was an important prince and noble in his kingdom. 

"I'm going to expose the lies of these three people, Father," Julliane replied confidently.

Leroy's thoughts led to the reason these three men approached his daughters. He knew it, no need to hear it anymore. Things get even more complicated when Julliane uncovers something unnecessary.

"What's wrong with them to be tied up like that?" 

"They had something to do with attacking monsters into the palace" said Julliane.

"Do you have any proof, Julliane?" ask Ophelia.

"The evidence will come out of their own mouths. Just look at."

"Don't make it up to Julliane. If we are wrongly accused, we will have the consequences" Leroy recalled.

"Sister Juli trusted Prince Ian too much. He could be lying" Edgar said.

Leroy looked at Julliane sharply. He did not expect that his daughter had been brainwashed by the prince of the kingdom of Constain.

"It is Julliane; don't defend your former fiancee. He's the one who's mean to us."

"Sir Juli's been having a hard time bringing them here, it doesn't hurt to hear it from them isn't it?" bela Ellaine's.

Their opinions cannot be united. Before reaching an agreement, the three men wake up one by one, starting with Kyler, Lionel, and lastly Beckett. They did not accept and were surprised to be taken forcibly by the royal princess for no apparent reason.

Letta appeared while frowning, his rest time was disturbed especially because of unimportant things that did not concern Julliane's life.

"Make the three of them speak truthfully, Letta," Julliane commanded.

Letta snorted in annoyance while carrying out her duties. He looked at Julliane sharply as if to say "It's all that?" Julliane who noticed it nodded while apologizing without a sound. But he did not return to his world. The curiosity of Julliane's actions this time made her stay longer. This show looks interesting.

Julliane asked Lionel first. "Are you involved in the monster raid on the palace?"

"Right, Princess Julliane." His mouth speaks for itself.

The palace family flinched. Leroy clenched his hands tightly, restraining his anger. He regretted easily believing in them, but it was not entirely his fault. If not Ian's suspicious subordinates might he be able to make better decisions.

Julliane asked Lionel first.

"What's your involvement, Lionel?"

"Those monsters are from my territory. More precisely a magic trial monster. The experiment failed and I wanted to throw those monsters away. Then, Duke Orsin had a plan to bring the monsters away" Lionel explained.

Julliane's view turned to Kyler. "Continue, Kyler."

"I am the one who led those monsters to the palace to make the palace owe me a favor. However, my actions were discovered by Prince Ian's subordinates. I hurt him but it turns out someone else knows it." Kyler looked at Beckett.

Beckett opened his mouth with a slight grin. "I caught Duke Orsin. And I'm the one who's plotting to get Prince Ian to blame. I don't like him, he used to embarrass me. Plus there are subordinates who can reinforce my lies. That's why I covered them up and we worked together."

Julliane's anger reached the crown. His friend, not not a friend, called what their relationship Julliane did not know, Ian scapegoated, while the culprit instead had fun at their residence. 

Letta who was aware of Julliane's anger flew into her ear. "Silence, you need to calm down."

Julliane sighed and exhaled repeatedly in order to calm down, but in vain. Not wanting to make the royal name ruined, Julliane handed the punishment to the three men to her father. 

Leroy advanced to where Julliane had been. He gave a look at the three men. 

"I was wrong to trust you."

Leroy glanced at Kyler and Lionel.

"Even the nobles in my own kingdom want to hurt the Royal Family. Lionel Crowley, you will be exiled for illegal magic experiments and protecting people who intend to harm the Royal Family. Meanwhile, Kyler Orsin, your royal title will be revoked and jailed for plotting an attack on the palace."

Kyler and Lionel looked down full of regret. They are rewarded for their actions. A triumphant smile was displayed by Julliane. Now there is Prince Lortamort.

Leroy approached Beckett. "For Prince Beckett, you are guilty of covering up the bad intentions of the nobles in my kingdom and putting everything on someone else."

I can't wait, this guy got kicked out.

"However, I have no right to punish you. You are from another kingdom, punishing the prince without any intention of harming our family from the beginning will cause the relationship of the two kingdoms to worsen. This time I'm kind enough to forgive you" continued Leroy.

Julliane looked at the grimacing father and Beckett. He did not expect the crafty man to be released so easily.

"But Father, he also has no intention of helping our kingdom. The relationship between our kingdom and Lortamort is not important to him, the proof is that he covered up what they both did" Julliane protested, pointing at Kyler and Lionel.

"I intend to help but those monsters have been wiped out by Princess Julliane" Beckett replied.

Julliane turned towards Letta. This spirit nodded indicating Beckett was telling the truth, his magic was still working. 

"Then why don't you come early, when-"

"That's enough, Julliane. The truth has been revealed, there is no need to exaggerate this" Leroy said.

Julliane wanted to express her objection again but was blocked by her mother. "Already Julliane. We will apologize to the Kingdom of Constain. The problem is over."

Julliane still doesn't accept it but nobody supports it. Even Ellaine. Ellaine's aware of her father's reason for defending Beckett. The construction of the palace will weigh on the royal family's finances. They need Beckett's help, if they kick him out there's no money coming in.

Leroy ordered the knights to untie the three men. Kyler was taken to the dungeon. Lionel returned to his residence full of fear. Meanwhile, Beckett smiled triumphantly. He passed by Julliane while whispering.

"Darling, Princess Julliane. Your plan didn't work out completely."
