Chapter 3: What to Protect and What to See Cool

The bridge made of solid stone is arranged very neatly connected to a mansion which is located on a hill with the forest covering the place like a barrier. Sasaki is shocked at the existence of a magnificent bridge and mansion in the woods on the outskirts of Tokyo.

"Sasaki, welcome to my place!" greet Lenora while opening the mansion door

The red carpet is neatly attached until it touches the stairs. From the left side of the red carpet there are three pale-skinned female servants but have a beautiful and charming look while the right side there are three male servants showing the appearance of a famous actor.

"Welcome to the residence of the Hista Family!" say six servants simultaneously with a polite greeting

"Where's Sebastian?" lenora asked inwardly with caution towards the main servant

The bat appeared from above darting through the left side of Sasaki's shoulder suddenly made him surprised to accidentally hit someone but the sensation was like hitting a wall.

When looking back there was a tall figure with a glaring gaze and sharp fangs like wanting to pounce on his neck while Sasaki fell silent while trying to stay calm like facing a wild animal.

His breathing was heavy, his body was cold sweat, it was hard to blink in such a situation and a thought came up telling Sasaki not to move recklessly as his life was currently at stake.

[Pumping Shoulder]

One pat on the left shoulder of the figure made Sasaki's body instantly tremble as if screaming for escape. For the second time came such thoughts as earlier at least a word that told him not to move clearly before him.

"It's amazing you can hold it!" sebastian said with applause

For Sasaki it was not applause but escaping death.

"Aiden!" lenora shouted in anger

"I'm sorry Miss, whoever stepped on the residence of the Hista Family. I as a servant who has served for 250 years must ensure the eligibility of guests at least he is braver than you!" sebastian replied with a big smile without revealing his two fangs with a low gaze for Lenora

"The only safe place to escape the pursuit of the Vampire Hunters is this residence but the main problem is with Sebastian knowing my identity if Sasaki wants to survive then there is no safe place other than in this mansion." lenora said in her heart she was considering a solution

Later, Lenora chooses to comply so that Sebastian will allow her to stay in the mansion.

"Good attitude to you. Well, Sebastian Hista invites you to enjoy the facilities of this mansion!" sebastian said in a polite tone with the attitude of the honorable servant

The six servants immediately obeyed Sebastian's order to let the two enter the residence of the Hista Family. However, Lenora felt a bad premonition made her continue to be vigilant not to let Sasaki alone.

"Lenora, am I in danger?" whispered Sasaki could understand the anxious expression Lenora was showing

"I'm sorry Sasaki turns out this place isn't safe either. Danger is after you, probably Sebastian, but for tonight we're staying together!" lenora answered while opening the door to her room

"Well but for tonight please tell me about yourself, I want to know!" ask Sasaki in front of him Lenora with a serious expression

"Sure!" reply Lenora in a slow tone

Lenora's heart was racing as Sasaki revealed a face before her eyes. For the first time Lenora experienced a condition such as blushing embarrassed until there is an intention to cover her face just that Sasaki is too serious so consider all that ordinary.

After she finished calming down and Lenora changed her clothes so did Sasaki.

"Lenora Hista that's my name. Sorry Sasaki didn't tell you in the first place." Lenora said with her right hand touching the middle of her chest while putting on a sad expression

Lenora sat at the bottom of the mattress wearing casual clothes.

"It's okay. Don't put on an expression like that!" reply Sasaki while sitting next to Lenora

"In this residence only I am left a part of the Hista Family already serving the King and the Vampire Queen. Honestly, I'm actually an outcast Vampire with no talent at all" Lenora recalled her past

Although it has been told not to express sad but Lenora repeated it again.

"Actually on the night of our meeting, I should have died of my illness. Before death what I had in mind when I met you was to give up this life so as not to die in vain but when I gave up it was saved. Thank you Lenora!" said Sasaki with a smile with the intention to change the atmosphere

Lenora can tell that Sasaki is changing the subject at once to make her happy because she feels worried.

"Next can you tell me about the Vampire Race?" ask Sasaki

"To find out more about the Vampire Race, you can come to the library because it is not far from this room" Lenora replied

Sasaki exited the room to the library that Lenora was referring to. There are many old books but they are so well maintained that there are no traces of damage. The first book Sasaki read describes the Vampire's 10 Commandments of Truth, Powerlessness, Belief, Rest, Violence, Patience, Purity, Tranquility, Feelings and Obedience.

Each has committed a terrible phenomenon in Tokyo.

The second book on government secrets that mask the presence of Vampires by preaching falsehoods even the Tokyo government responds to these Vampires so sadistically that anyone who sees and reveals them will be instantly eliminated.

Knowing the truth alone had scared Sasaki off.

The third book deals with Chain Blood where Lenora herself does not know everything but when it opens suddenly from behind there is Sebastian with his hands ready to penetrate the heart of Sasaki.

"Aiden!" sasaki said with a surprised expression

"The smell of your body does not reflect the Vampire Race even though there is a little but the smell of a human being still smelled in my nose" Sebastian said as he carried Sasaki into the dark of the night

His heart hurts. Lenora sharpened her pupils with incredible speed straight towards the library to check on Sasaki. However, there were only three books lying on the floor suddenly appearing six maids with killing intent.

"Lenora Hista's execution was on Mr. Sebastian's orders" said six servants simultaneously

Lenora's heart rate is getting faster and the pain makes her understand that it appears because Sasaki is in danger when trying to get out of the library suddenly other enemies began to arrive turned out Sebastian had planned all this.

"Give up and die Lenora!" said executioner Lenora

"Rush up? Oi, all of you don't expect to kill me because there's something I have to protect!" lenora's reply was ready against all the executioners in the library

Meanwhile, Sasaki is thrown into the forest with the darkness of night blinding her eyesight. From the darkness of that night, Sebastian appeared in a beast-like form.

"Let's hunt rabbits!" sebastian said with a grin

Sasaki immediately escaped by passing through the forest, bushes and others to avoid Sebastian but to any extent he ran can still be pursued with incredible speed.

However, Sebastian did not immediately kill him but toying with the fear of Vampire horror in the dark of the night made Sasaki run like a rabbit.

"Run, run, run, run!" sasaki said inwardly with a fear that no longer thought of anything

Running as hard as possible but in the dark of the night can not see the surface as a result of the foot tripping stone made him fall hard kissing the grass.

When Sasaki tried to stand with both hands but there was something awkward because the dominant hand or right hand was no longer there.

"It's just that you ran away, rabbit!" sebastian yelled out easily to pull out Sasaki's right arm

[Screaming]

A rough wound with rips of skin, flesh and bone cut off from his joints made Sasaki cry on the blood-soaked weeds that Sebastian enjoyed.

Sasaki kept screaming and trying to get away from Sebastian but the beast behind was ready at any moment to pounce on him just one word Sasaki let out.

"Lenora" Sasaki said as she endured the pain

"Haha! Still hoping a cowardly Vampire might save you? Sasaki, let me tell you about the real Lenora. He was a coward who was unable to suck human blood, never feeling anything because during his life there was only humiliation from his family. Sasaki to be honest, I feel sorry for you because that cowardly Vampire won't come here" Sebastian said with a sharp look to crush Sasaki's hopes

His heart hurts.

"What am I doing here? Screaming sickly and hoping to be helped where maybe the figure of a man like me looks cool in front of him." said Sasaki inwardly with a blank look

"Sasaki ruined your hopes? Lenora is a coward, a loser, shameless, weak, outcast and trash to the Vampire Race" Sebastian said with a happy expression enjoying his hunt

His heart beat rapidly as the blood chain appeared instantly refreshing his blank gaze with great hope and confidence of the figure who came to him.

"Shut up!" sasaki said in an angry tone while trying to stand in front of Sebastian

"What do you mean?" sebastian asked with an expression of annoyance at being ruled by humans

Sasaki's left eye turns into a ruby jewel or a sharpening Vampire's eye following his anger.

"I mean that, all your words are real trash!" sasaki replied with a big smile

Sebastian immediately hit the gas wanted to sever the neck of his prey with both hands but Sasaki's left eye followed his movements immediately playing the action dojo. Sasaki responded quickly by taking Sebastian's right hand and slamming him to the ground.

"Sound Sebastian! In the world of men no one wants to show their ugly side because Lenora came here, I have to show a cool side to beautiful women like her!" sasaki said with a big smile filled with satisfaction

"Humans like you don't expect to hurt me!" sebastian shouted with an annoyed expression mixed with anger

Sebastian was still able to stand up from the tremendous dings but Lenora in a blood-soaked suit lunged at him from the top of the tree. The two wrestle in the weeds with Lenora ripping Sebastian's neck to a sick scream and then keeping his distance with Sasaki.

"You two what the fuck is that expression, huh?" sebastian asked in a shouting tone seeing the two smiling widely showing the satisfaction of each

Sasaki's blood that Sebastian consumed began to have a toxic effect.

"Wait for this, the blood curse Chain Blood. You guys could?" sebastian's question is getting poisoned

Sebastian has no more energy to fight when he feels his condition has been cornered suddenly luck siding with him because Lenora is very tired of facing the executioner in the library. He chose to run away to tell the matter of Chain Blood to the Vampire King on the condition that he survived the curse.

"She ran away!" lenora yelled, trying to catch up, but her body said no

As he forced himself to move, Sasaki suddenly collapsed with the blood on his right arm continuing to flow.

"Sasaki endure!" lenora shouted with a worried expression
