Chapter 1: Chain Blood

The 4th Vampire King abolished the old promise that his people were required to consume human blood in order to grow stronger. As a result, humans began to fight back by taking down the Vampire Hunters so that war between the two sides continued for years.

However, there is one female Vampire named Lenora Hista who still holds the old promise so that from her actions it has a bad impact on her family.

Initially the whole family supported the old promise of eating animal blood for eternal life but over time something changed. Lenora begins to be ostracized by all members of her family until the humiliation she gets in the form of a cowardly Vampire.

Not only that, Lenora is also referred to as the weakest Vampire and without talent now no one wants to consider herself there. Because, Lenora continued to refuse to make the 4th Vampire King instill a desire to suck human blood.

Just at the age of 100, Lenora lived with torture to the point of no longer being able to resist but the Vampire Hunters had been scouting her ever since coming out of the Neurune Forest.

A night in Tokyo with deserted conditions shows three Vampire Hunters moving frisky is chasing Lenora who failed to suck human blood because of carelessness.

As far as anything to stay away from the enemy can still be pursued because in a condition badly injured in the abdomen due to being shot by a silver bullet even makes it unable to fly so it is impossible to escape optimally.

Turning into a bat immediately flew upwards trying to pass through the tall building in front of him but before reaching the top one of the Vampire Hunters fired a shot by punching a hole in one of its wings.

Lenora still forced herself to continue flying until she managed to escape but did not make these three hunters stop chasing.

When he managed to pass through a tall building suddenly lost the form of a bat resulting in his body plunging freely down into the pile of garbage.

At the same time the fall coincides when someone finishes throwing garbage. The man immediately examined her and found that a pile of garbage saved Lenora from a fatal wound.

"Your blood!" lenora said as she opened her eyes and showed sharp fangs

The sudden shock made him very surprised to hear the sound of running footsteps. Lenora stacks the trash to hide while the man hides behind the trash can.

Footsteps continue to approach until in the trash can make the heart beat fast for the other one to hide. When the hunter almost opened the trash can immediately the man came out from behind while acting drunk to distract.

Luckily, the hunters left the place.

"It's safe" he said as he opened the trash can cover

Lenora wanted to run away but was unable to move anymore because of running out of stamina.

"Let me help you" he said, cradling into the apartment

Lenora did not expect to get help from humans and even gunshot wounds treated even though it is not needed because it can heal naturally.

"The injury will definitely heal in a few days" he said, returning P3K

"Why did you save me?" lenora asked staring intently as she removed the bandage covering her stomach

There was a pause from the question as he was also confused at her while saving the Vampire which was obviously very dangerous.

"I want to know why?" a question back from her made Lenora show her anger

Throttling her neck up made it hard for her to breathe and then throwing her against the wall of the apartment strong enough

"Take it seriously or I kill it!" threatening Lenora once again gave a sharp look

"You didn't answer my question, you idiot. The choice of life is yours whatever you use because I don't care but thank you for saving me, man!" lenora said as she opened the door

When the door opened it turned out that the Vampire Hunter was waiting while piercing using a silver dagger right on the heart of the target.

"Target found!" said the Vampire Hunter reported to his partner

Highlight eyes sharpened by hardening the nails on his five fingers forming a hand knife directly piercing the heart of the enemy.

Blood stained the right arm but the skin slowly blistered as the blood of the Vampire Hunters mixed with holy water even the silver dagger was inalienable as each time it touched it was burning.

Suddenly from the right and left appeared two fellow Vampire Hunters who had been killed instantly attacked the target instantly there was a fight.

Vampire Hunters were superior because Lenora could not move her body. Two silver bullets were fired hitting the legs instantly paralyzed and there was no other way to escape now Lenora was resigned to be killed.

However, the man gave his help by hitting the Vampire Hunter with a baseball bat until he fell down. The man carried Lenora as he ran as far as possible so as not to be chased again but the Vampire Hunters were very tough in an instant able to stand up again to chase the target with abnormal speed.

"Stupid man let go!" swear Lenora while enduring the pain in her wound

"How noisy are you. Shut up and let me help you!" he snapped with a high tone accompanied by a serious expression

It was only the first time a human dared to snap at him.

"Keep running and enter the building!" lenora said as she pointed towards the building

"It's better that your plan to enter the building should solve this problem" he replied as he sped up

Vampire hunters can still chase until entering the building immediately stopped because losing track of the target turned out to be a dark atmosphere in an empty building used to hide. Thinking it could already blur suddenly appeared the presence of someone from behind while holding a silver dagger.

"Revelation!" he shouted while making the body as a shield

The red eyeball shook with droplets of blood hitting the clothes so surprised even confused to see a human protecting it. A feeling arose in the heart when the body began to fall from getting a stab in the left chest but before closing his eyes, he uttered the last word.

Lenora immediately bit her neck to suck blood in order to restore her strength. All the wounds instantly healed then the Vampire Hunter who thrust out a silver dagger was given a terrible death until the body was chopped off using its sharp fingernails.

The surviving Vampire Hunters chose to retreat because the target had already consumed human blood. At that time, the feeling of not wanting to lose the man who saved him by being forced to do taboo acts.

"Drink!" lenora said, biting her tongue and giving vampire blood through kissing

Three gulps like drinking water healed a fatal wound but had to be paid with a curse of blood chains wrapped around the heart of the two which were interconnected. Vampires and humans have a heart connection that is terrible because the lives of both become one.

Vampires giving blood to humans is a taboo act because it can cause a curse called Chain Blood.
