Chapter 2: Shouting Hysterically

The family always supports every action, the faithful partner accompanies his footsteps, friends are ready to take the time to comfort him and friends always come in his time of need. The life of the all-too-perfect adult man has been shattered when it comes to knowing the reality behind their support.

Symbiosis of parasitism exists in human life. After reportedly suffering from a terrible disease comes a bitter reality starting from the family taking every important asset, loyal partners have changed hearts, friends no longer comfort him and friends stop to help him.

Living a day waiting for death but still trying not to die in vain so that his life was given to save the life of the Vampire. Drowning in a bottomless red sea with both eyes closed while remembering the Vampire he saved.

"Beautiful paras, short black hair with a charming style and ruby-like eyes are pure beauty. I'm grateful to have saved him if this life is still there, please give me a chance to see it!" he said in his heart while opening both eyes

The chain of blood wrapped around his heart immediately pulled up on the surface of the water to see the light instantly wake him in the apartment room with tears because he was still able to breathe.

Lenora wakes up on the left side of the bed when her beloved human cries without a second thought to wipe the tears with her index finger. 22-year-old Itoru Sasaki had terminal liver cancer last night, and death was coming.

"Is anyone sick?" asked Lenora with a worried expression

Sasaki shook his head slowly twice.

"Nothing! I'm just happy to get the chance to live this life." replied Sasaki with a smile

The morning rays try to penetrate the window curtains by cutting the dark and light into two different sides like Itoru Sasaki.

"Oh, great. You can call me Lenora!" lenora was calm with Sasaki's reply

"Itoru Sasaki is my name. Hello to Lenora!" sasaki replied while wiping her own tears

"Hum, hello to Sasaki!" reply Lenora with a happy expression

Suddenly Lenora's expression turned very serious, making Sasaki realize that what he got now has a high price.

"I will tell you something important related to the lives of both of us" Lenora said in a serious tone

The blood chain on his left chest was connected in the same position on Lenora and there was a clear chain wrapped around his heart. The heartbeat seemed to be in harmony with the chain that was ready to destroy the lives of both.

"Yesterday night it's not wrong for Sasaki to have been killed protecting me!" lenora said frankly with what happened last night

"Then what happened?" sasaki tried to accept the reality

"As Sasaki did, I saved you. Chain Blood is a taboo act that is strictly prohibited for the Vampire Race to use, which is to give Vampire blood to humans as a result I myself make you receive a blood curse that can eradicate Vampires." lenora replied while sitting on the bed approaching a dark position

"Wait a minute doesn't that mean Lenora can be considered a traitor? Why do?" sasaki asked with a puzzled expression at Lenora's actions

"To save you!" lenora replied without regretting her actions

Sasaki was still confused by his two hands clutching firmly two sides of Lenora's shoulders as if to ask her to be honest.

"I'm human and why, why do you want to save people?" sasaki asked with a sharp look in front of Lenora's face

"I should have asked that too, Sasaki! Why did you save me last night?" Lenora asked back to leave Sasaki speechless for a few seconds

But Sasaki had already found the answer when it saved Lenora from the silver dagger.

"I just want to save you!" sasaki answered without hesitation

"So much as me!" lenora immediately hugged Sasaki gently as if it was unbearable to do so.

Sasaki can feel Lenora's sincerity to save her.

"Thank you Sasaki because of you I found something precious to protect!" lenora felt comfortable hugging Sasaki

"Lenora tell me about Chain Blood!" ask Sasaki while putting on a serious expression

"That "Chain Blood is a curse and the information about it is top secret but I know an important condition that should not be violated. Sasaki can't be separated from me by 20 meters and vice versa for me! Our heart is wrapped in a chain of blood that is ready to explode if it violates these important conditions" said Lenora while holding her left chest

"So, it's an important requirement and a consequence of breaking it." replied Sasaki already understood a little about Chain Blood

Lenora does not want to hide the secret from Sasaki by frankly opening everything.

"Sasaki, the existence of Chain Blood could ignite a bloodbath. If Chain Blood is known to the Vampire Hunters then Sasaki will be captured and used as the Vampire's weapon of extermination because the curse blood is now inside you!" said Lenora

"Because of betraying my own race then I will be executed! That's all I know about Chain Blood" Lenora replied as she yawned

Sasaki suddenly yawned and even felt drowsy.

"Sasaki, I forgot to tell you about the Vampires always sleeping until nightfall" Lenora said

Lenora sleeps in a sitting position while leaning against the wall of the apartment while Sasaki immediately collapses to sleep on the mattress. Late in the afternoon Sasaki suddenly woke up hungry and still thought he was a human so went out of the apartment buying fast food.

[Munching]

I don't know why Sasaki just realized after chewing a hamburger. His body did not experience any peculiarity when swallowing food even the sunlight in the afternoon was not painful at all.

"A distance of 5 meters from...."

His heart ached not because of distance issues but something that told Sasaki to come back soon. The run was still like a normal human so it required more stamina until his body was awed when it had reached the fifth floor, there was a person dressed in black robes again standing in front of the door of his apartment.

The pain in his heart disappeared.

"Hey, why are you standing in front of my apartment door?" sasaki asked in a shouting tone as she approached him

"Sorry to disturb you. I'd like to ask you about last night's attack maybe you heard it?" answer and ask back at once the black-robed man with a sharp look at Sasaki

Getting such a question already made Sasaki convinced that this man before him was a Vampire Hunter. One time a sip of saliva trying to calm down turned out Sasaki only realized there was no corpse when Lenora killed one last night.

No matter what it was because right now Sasaki had to lie to protect Lenora.

"Sorry I don't know. So, please get out of here!" sasaki replied and kicked him out

[Sniffing]

Sasaki's gaze immediately widened when the man suddenly scented his scent while turning his back to the waist side.

"You Vampire!" he said while giving a look of wanting to kill

"Buck!" sasaki said inwardly with a panicked expression

However, Sasaki's response was very slow while the Vampire Hunter was already grasping a silver dagger ready to stab its heart.

[Bracking Door]

Before the tip of the silver dagger hit his heart suddenly a strong push came from inside the apartment resulting in the door crashing simultaneously smashing the Vampire Hunters into the outer wall of the apartment very strongly.

"Our sasaki is out of here!" lenora shouted while pulling Sasaki's right hand

Sasaki's body was carried away like a strong wind Lenora ran towards the fifth floor apartment window which was one of the abilities of the Vampire Race.

"Sasaki handle!" lenora shouted as she plunged through the fifth floor window

The shards of glass from the window Lenora broke through made Sasaki put on a panicked expression.

"Lenora's the fifth floor, you know!" Sasaki hysterically shouted at the bottom surface

Frightened, Sasaki closed both eyes.

"Sasaki open your eyes!" ask Lenora with a soft tone in her ear Sasaki

When he opened his eyes he was shown the atmosphere of Tokyo entering the atmosphere of the night which was very beautiful to make Sasaki stunned in a position held by Lenora like a princess.

"We're going to my house. So, a strong grip!" lenora said as she floated straight at incredible speed

"Lenoraaa!" once again Sasaki cried hysterically
