"What's wrong with your hands? Why get hurt like this?" Ranti looked worried looking at the gaping wound that was wide enough on Jasmine's palm. Ranti walked over to Jasmine and checked the wound whether it was deep or not.
"Oh, God. Your wounds are deep and wide, honey. Your wounds must be stitched." Ranti led Jasmine to take her seat while trying to stop the bleeding on Jasmine's tiny hand.
"Why you?" Satya asked as she looked at the face of the only son.
"Dad, egg-"
"You want me to make you fall in the eye?" Satya interrupted quickly.
"The wood wants Om too, but the quail's eye's egg." Bayu answered Satya's words.
Gibran and Satya immediately looked at Bayu with confused faces. "There really is?" asked Gibran still grimacing in pain.
Bayu who was asked immediately took a deep breath and answered quickly. "There, chicken-eye eggs, quail-eye eggs, pigeon-eye eggs, eye-egg"
"Enough!" Gibran interrupted Bayu's words because he understood what Bayu meant by mentioning the eggs.
"It's not finished yet." Bayu looked at Gibran annoyed at cutting off his words.
"That's kind of an egg, Bay." Gibran laughed bitterly while throwing Bayu with a bowl that he could use for the salt water container earlier.
Satya now understood Gibran's intentions and did not care what Bayu said. Satya's laughter immediately broke making him the young man in the kitchen was looking at Satya with a questioning look. Gibran and Bayu looked at each other and both of them simultaneously raised their shoulders while raising their eyebrows in a sign they did not understand.
Bayu immediately understood what happened when he heard Satya's words. Bayu chuckles amusedly aware of the stupidity of Gibran who always does things that endanger and embarrass himself.
Meanwhile, Ranti and Jasmine are already in the car heading to the nearest hospital to treat Jasmine's hand.
"Tante, if it's stitched it's gonna hurt. Jasmine doesn't want to be stitched up Auntie. Later the wound on Jasmine's hand must be healed anyway so, do not ask the doctor to sew Jasmine's hand yes, Aunt." Jasmine was already hot coldly imagining the needle pricking through her wound.
During this time, Jasmine has never been afraid of medical devices because she was a doctor before she ran away from home and stopped being a doctor and chose to work in business management. Jasmine used to be a graduate of SMK, so she mastered business when she was SMK.
Jasmine's knowledge grew wider from the books she read in addition to books on health. The reason Jasmine ran away from home first was because she did not want to be betrothed to her father's friend's son who also worked as a doctor.
It was because of this work that Jasmine knew Doctor Adit who was none other than a cousin of her own best friend. Gradually, Jasmine admired the figure of Doctor Adit but the coercion of her parents who had cheated would marry her to the child of her father's sabahat made Jasmine feel upset and chose to run away.
Jasmine also knew that her family was looking for her. Her father had also met her and forced her to go home but she refused firmly. It was not her intention to be a dissident child, but that heart could not be forced and Jasmine did not want to pretend to be happy just for the sake of seeing her parents happy.
If his parents' choice was right, he must be a good man. However, Jasmine believes that God's choice is better than all. Since that incident, Jasmine's relationship with her parents became bad, all the facilities of her parents were taken. Fortunately, Jasmine had her own savings from her salary while working as a surgeon at the capital's hospital.
Once a man who would be betrothed to her invited her to meet. At first Jasmine refuses but because her mother threatens her, Jasmine is forced to leave with the man.
