Finding Rania

The sun has warmed even though it is still half hiding behind the cluster of tea hills of the peak region. Aborting the dew in the leaves little by little, driving away the fog that had enveloped the place from last night until all who were there appeared.

While Rania has been awake since dawn even though she did not get out of bed at all. The freezing cold kept him curled under the blanket until the sky was completely bright.

The only thing that made him get out of his bed was his whack of hunger, and made him feel a great nausea.

"Neng, said Ambu food in between a little afternoon. His brother had also been out at dawn to keep the villa going straight to the city." an incoming message from an unknown number when he turned on his phone.

Holy hooch! even I turn out again, if later trace the same people how? then he immediately turned off his phone which since yesterday afternoon manyala.

Rania had no intention of replying to him at all, but she immediately got up to clean up.

***

Rania decides to get out of the villa and walk down the crowded village streets. People had started their activities that morning, mostly tea-picking women on local plantations. The others were men who were about to go to the fields, and children who went to school at the end of the village.

"Where are you going?" one of the children who recognized him said hello.

"You go to Hamdan's house. But forget where else to go from here." Rania replied, and along with that a tall young man with a sports stellan ran past her.

"House is straight there, later there is a mango tree in front, just enter. There was aa aa who ran there." replied the child while pointing his index finger forward there.

"Not far?"

"No. The tree looks from here. That one came in." replied the boy.

"Oh. .. okay if that's it." Rania nodded her head. Then he walked to the designated spot after the children said goodbye.

***

"A .." he almost yelled to call the house dwellers, but suddenly remembered the words of his best friend.

"Ehm ..." Rania is also beating.

"Punten, assalamualaikum." he tried to use his voice as quietly as possible.

"Assalamualaikum" he said again when there was no word from inside the house.

"Master, Ambu?" he added the volume of his voice.

"Mom, this is Rania." she looked around the place that looked lonely.

"Assalamualaikum, too .." then the door opened from the inside. And a quite foreign face emerged from the open crack.

They are both stunned. Rania even scanned the young man standing before her, whose head had almost touched the door frame above her.

A white-skinned man with slightly brownish hair who looks in contrast to the circumstances around him. Wearing a black jogger and only a singlet covering his upper body.

"Yes?" said the young man.

"Eee .. The ambush is there?" he just remembered, maybe this is the grandson of the villa guard he told me about yesterday. But he was not sure, and once again Rania looked at the young man's face.

"This is Hamdan sir's house, Ambu Mimih, isn't it?" he asked again, despite thinking he would get a possible answer in a language he did not understand.

"Yes" replied the young man.

"Mmm .. I want ...

"Ambuuuu!!! there's Rania!" unexpectedly, the young man returned to the house and shouted loudly.

"Duh?"

Then a woman of her grandfather's age walked in from there.

"Gustiii, the Neng even came here? this Ambu wants to leave. Waiting too late, huh? hungry yet?"

"No, just walking this morning" replied Rania, chuckling.

"When mah just wait at the villa, this is ambu to clean up first. While waiting for Gaza to run home, he was afraid that if the ambu went first he nyariin."

Rania glanced at the young man behind the woman who looked preoccupied with her phone and headset. She spread her height in the recliner by the window.

"Gaza, here's a story last night." she pulled Rania into her simple, beautiful-looking house. Surrounded by a large yard that serves as a vegetable garden and there are many fruit trees. Behind him was a tea garden that spread as far as the eye could see.

"Hmm .." while Gaza just muttered.

"So you and your brother didn't lie, did they?" he said to the grandson.

"Yeah, fine." the young man replied with a quick glance at Rania, then returned to his smartphone.

"He does not believe that you are equally as ambu know his idol motorcycle racer" Mimih told the woman.

"Huh?"

"She said that you were lying after saying that Rania's granddaughter who had a villa. But it worked to get him to come here to prove his brother's point." he laughed.

"Ooo ..." Rania nodded her head with her small mouth that formed the letter O.

"Well, would you like to eat here or go back to the villa again?" Mimih then asked.

"This is it."

"Yes, I am ready."

***

One container of warm rice with several kinds of side dishes is on the table. A plate of fried chicken, some tofu, as well as the green vegetables that Mimih picked up in the garden behind their house. Not forgetting the sambal that looks so appetizing, making Rania almost drool.

"Gaza, want to eat?" haggling Mimih to his grandson.

The young man did not answer, but he got up and put on his shirt, and approached those who were ready at the dinner table. Sitting next to the grandmother who was taking food for them.

"Kampung chicken, mbu?" Gaza asked.

"Yes, as you like" replied his grandmother.

"Arigatou." the young man nodded his head respectfully.

"But no salmon, buy it far away. What else is sushi. You can't make it."

"It's okay." the grandson replied.

Mimih looked smiling as she handed the plate to the two of them. Then they eat in silence.

Occasionally Gaza glances at the woman opposite it. Convincing if he is indeed the racer who lately his football in the world of motorcycle racing he gandrungi. So are his fellow students on campus.

He did not believe he would meet him in person, just as he did not believe his grandfather's words. Gaza thought it was only Hamdan's wits to make him want to come to visit after almost five years without meeting.

"Where did you go, I don't know?" rania's voice broke her daydream.

"To the city, there is a need."

"What need?"

"Lack of knowing."

Rania fell silent.

"Eating more Neng?"

"No Mbu, I'm full." refused Rania.

"Tumben ate it a little?"

"Maybe because the baby is getting older, but soon it will also be laper again." Rania rubbed her stomach which looked bloated. The two babies inside did make her pregnancy look more prominent than pregnancy in general. Then he took a sip of his drinking water and cleaned his hands.

"You ... pregnant?" Gaza finally made a sound.

"Yes." Yeah." Rania nodded her head.

"Oh, I see. That's why you're not in the next musin race?" the young man was enthusiastic.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Oh, .. I thought you were another girl. But it turns out this is you." Gaza with joy.

"Indeed."

"really right? from yesterday do not believe ambu say?" Mimih interrupted the conversation.

"I thought that she was lie, just to make me come. (i thought she was lying just to make me come)." the young man laughed.

While Rania scratched her head that did not itch.

"Why?"

"Do you know Indonesian?" the woman asked.

"Yes." Yeah."

"Can." Gaza nodded his head.

"Yes, say it in Indonesian, do not interfere. I'm dizzy." lamented Rania who made the young man opposite her laugh out loud.

"Seriously, if you can use Sundanese. Mr. Hamdan said you could. I'll understand more." continued Rania without awkward.

"Well, it's familiar. If that's why stay back for a second, huh?" my grandmother interrupted again.

"OK." the two answered simultaneously.

***

"Your husband .. is there?" the young man asked. Now they arrived in front of the villa after the grandmother asked him to deliver Rania, as well as bring a container of food for the afternoon and evening.

"Nothing is."

"Why?"

"He's in Jakarta."

"And you ... vacation alone here?" Gaza tilted its head.

"That's how."

The young man then fell silent.

"Wanna get in?" tawang Rania to him.

"No. Ambu said I just have to make sure you get to the villa safely." refused Gaza.

"Oh, .. okay that way." Rania reached out her hand to receive the food box that Gaza was offering.

"Some part of you bothers a lot. Why isn't the cooking here?" Rania mutters.

"I don't know." while Gaza flicked its shoulders.

"Can't bother it."

"Got to go now" said the young man then as he walked backwards.

"OK on."

"Okay, see ya."

"Hm .." Rania immediately entered the village.

But the woman immediately laughed as she looked at Gaza who was walking while prancing and laughing alone. His reddened face looked carefree and he looked so elated.

Dimitri was stunned by the phone screen after seeing the contact number of Rania who had been online about five hours ago. And he again felt angry because he did not have time to contact her.

His focus today was completely distracted. Not because of work, but because he returned to continue the search.

Jakarta did not give him much hope, nor did the area around him. He decided to go back to Bandung to start again. Although some of his men still reported not finding the whereabouts of the woman.

His tracking device found the name of a village in the Bogor area, which he did not expect at all. Though he almost gave up and decided to go to the residence of Angga because he was almost out of time.

Oh my God, Zai, you've run this far? until no one can find you? inner monologue.

"So, you're giving up?" The goose is in front of him. He had just returned from somewhere and received the arrival of his daughter-in-law once he arrived home.

"Papa must know something." Dimitri.

"What about?"

"The existence of Rania."

Angga grunted rudely.

"Did you joke? who knows who he ran away from? and I know from your parents."

But Dimitri shook his head slowly, then he put the phone on the table, then shifted it towards his in-laws.

"Where is this?" said.

"Not knowing." Angga flicked his shoulders, although he felt surprised as well because the young man in front of him could find his daughter.

"Will you deliberately separate me from Rania?"

Angga.

"Bah!"

"What am I doing to separate you? without me separating you have done foolishness so that my son leaves you." Angga finally answered.

"That's a misunderstanding! not on purpose at all!" Dimitri again explained the initial situation of the pity. Which seems to be hard to find the end of. Especially since the in-laws had already taken part in it.

"That's why you lied. And that proves ..

"Prove what? between me and Ara there's nothing, why don't you believe it?"

Angga looked at him with a cold look.

"You know, from the beginning I didn't agree if Rania you married. I don't think you'll be able to treat him well. And it's proven, isn't it? you don't even consider his whereabouts when your own family held the celebration event for him. They seem to love him very much. At first it felt a relief. But reality? don't even explain, you'll understand." the man in a trembling voice.

"And my feeling was right." he growled later.

"How many times do I have to say it? I just do it to keep his feelings. I'm afraid she'd be offended if I said I met Ara that night." Dimitri threw his back on the back of the sofa.

"But actually? he was even more angry when he found out you had lied!" Angga.

"You think it's a small thing? then why did he get to it like that? you think Rania is overreacting? trivial feelings? from here I understand that you are not that good."

"Bye, ...

"You know, a lot of things my son has sacrificed just for a man like you. He leaves everything he likes, delays his ideals, his dreams, and everything he plans just for you. And you think it's all trivial? where are your feelings?"

"What did you sacrifice for my son?"

"Life sparkles? foya? I don't think it's a sacrifice, but a necessity. Because basically your choice does require it to be like that."

"You know, I could have told Rania to leave you right now. He must have complied. He is able to support himself without you, and I am sure he will be happier. He's free to go anywhere, free to do anything, without being shackled with you."

"Bah!" Dimitri. The longer Angga's words feel the more painful.

"But that's not the right thing to do, because breaking the marriage bond is tantamount to killing my own son."

Dimitri.

"Rania was never close to a man other than me. They even wanted me to match up. I know Galang will take good care of him because he knows Rania well from childhood. But his destiny is not so. Know he's meeting you. I can what?"

"She is indeed a lot of shortcomings, besides unlike other women also can not do anything other than riding a motorcycle and fiddling with the engine. You knew that from the beginning because he didn't cover anything. But she's our daughter, and we love her no matter how she is. So ... If you can't accept his situation like that, give him back to us." Maharani also opened his voice, making Dimitri's face paled.

Everyone cornered him without accepting his explanation, and now the problem became even more widespread.

"So, look for him now. Find him, and let him decide." Angga said, while Dimitri was still frozen in place.

"It's his grandfather's villa in the peak area." he finally said it too. Unable to see the look of despair on his daughter-in-law's face.

"At least your efforts will result in something." he continued, who swiped Dimitri's phone after typing the full address of the villa where his daughter was staying.

Dimitri raised his head and looked at his two in-laws in disbelief.

"Go now, don't let Rania wait too long." continued Angga who now sounds calmer.
