Actually, I Was The Real One

Actually, I Was The Real One
Chapter 19

The Parvis family are the only successors to spirit magic yet they do not actively study its power. It was because they gave up on the temple to not learn the power given to them by the Goddess.

He took out all the materials that seemed to be related to spirits and sat down at the table.

Little is known about spirits, therefore, there is not much information to read. He didn't know if it was a good thing or not.

He looked through the bookshelf and thought.

'…I'm bored.'

It is amazing that although the letters are the same, they can be very different [1] .

There was a world in the novel that Keira never knew. Outstanding family, friends and lovers, heroines in a sweet and happy world without conflict.

Everyone cared for and loved Stella.

It feels like a dream.

"This is not the time to daydream."

He lightly slapped both of his cheeks with his hands. However, this does not make the book any less interesting.

It didn't help that she was exhausted from lack of sleep, her library was quiet, and her seat was soft and warm. It was a good place to fall asleep.

His eyes are starting to feel heavy.

'I have to finish what I have to do ...'

Who makes eyelids the heaviest thing in the world?

Keria succumbs to drowsiness attacks.

'Let's close our eyes for ten minutes.'

Eventually, he fell asleep for a while and woke up later than expected. Fortunately, he was quick to read, so he could easily finish two books before the morning passed.

There were still books he had not checked, but it was impossible to take him out, even if he was a member of the Parvis family.

Keira put the books back on the shelf and came out.

As soon as he walked out of the library, he saw several servants chatting with each other.

"Where have you been and just got back?"

“You know, the book Rose asked for, I went to the dorm to find her. I don't know exactly where I left it, so I looked for it.”

When Keira heard Rose's name, she listened carefully.

“About what is it? Is that interesting?”

“Not as good as the main novel..It is more fun to read about the main couple. They haven't even mentioned Stella and Earl Graham and I'm halfway there. It was all about that little sister. To be honest, I don't like it.”

Stella's? Earl Graham's?

Keira's ears twitched hearing the familiar names.

I want to join! I'd like to join and talk to you all!

He wanted to ask about what the story was about, what happened to the main couple after the main story ended, and he wanted to talk about how handsome the male protagonist was.

Keira was eager to join in their conversation, and would soon do so when she heard the servants speak.

“But, I'm sure our lady doesn't want to know about what happened to the main character, so it doesn't matter.”

"He wants to learn more about the life of a normal noble?"

“But isn't our lady also a noble? Why did he bother to learn it through books? ”

“That's because he rarely goes out of the house. Doesn't that mean she's curious about how the life of a normal noblewoman is?”

"Why would he want to know that all of a sudden?"

"I don't know."

Keira was unable to move a single step and approached the servants. Cold sweat ran down his back.

What did he tell Rose this morning?

“O–oh, yes, especially about nighttime events in the capital. It is interesting that young people enjoy masks all night. I didn't even know there was this–.”

“And the sister of the main character get ready for the academy. Probably because I homeschooled.”

He believes he said it himself.

He was filled with shame and could not get close to the servant.

'I'd be more honest if there weren't any erotic scenes.'

Of course, he would not have read everything if the scene did not exist.

Keira, who could not take part in the servants' conversation, inevitably looked at them with excited eyes.

“I like the garden view the most. I'm pretty sure they'll get caught. I guess the odds seem to make it more interesting? ”

“For me, it was when they went to the villa by the beach. Or or, which they do in front of the fireplace.”

"My voice went to their first night after their wedding."

A voice in Keira's heart shouted, 'I also like wedding night the most!'

“Are you only interested in erotic scenes? I love scenes where they instantly recognize each other at the mask party.”

'The movement is exposing sexual violence to eliminate it! I also really liked that scene!'

“Do you like other stories besides romantic ones? It is more interesting to know that there is romance in the story.”

'true. I like it better than feeling annoyed about criminals.'

His mouth was itching to chat with them, but he could not.

As a high-ranking noble, he could never admit that he enjoyed reading such steamy novels.

'No, never, no! No way!'

So, he just stared longingly at them from afar.

Just then, one of the servants looked back, probably feeling his intense gaze.

“Aaaaah!”

His voice echoed throughout the hallway. His face quickly turned pale.

"What the hell is going on? Jeez!”

"Oh my God!"

Their reaction was similar to the first waiter. Someone even hiccups.

Keyra was embarrassed.

What happened to them all of a sudden?

He even looked back because he thought his father might appear behind him.

"But there's nothing there?"

He faced the waiter again, but the waiter apologized, their backs bent to the waist.

“M-sorry, miss!'

“Ii-it's break time. Please trust us!”

“We'll be back!”

As fast as the wind, they ran away.

"Th-"

Before he knew it, Keira was left alone in the hallway.

She feels sad. He wanted to hear more about their conversation.

'Why did they run away?'

He was used to the situation. He had similar experiences before.

The joking knights would stop when they saw him.

Did they think he would scold them for wandering around and not working?

Keyra felt aggrieved.

Even though he was a strict master, he was not a cruel person who did not like to chat and get along.

'...Do I really look so intimidating?'

Keyra held her face. He didn't think he was scary enough to make people run away with just eye contact.

Pouting, he realized. Everyone should be reluctant to talk to her because they are afraid of her cold appearance.

But what about Rose and Zeke? Are they afraid of him too?

No. gabe. What matters is how well they know him and how much they talk to him.

What would happen if he approached the waiters and told them he read the book last night and enjoyed it? What if he has the courage to put his pride aside and say that he likes what he likes?

'Maybe they won't run away like they just did.'

He was deep in thought as he walked back to his room.
