You're In My Grips

You're In My Grips
Chapter 16

In the morning, Dara was about to reach for the glass that was on the nightstand. Seeing the empty teapot and glass made him sigh, the extremely dry throat forced him to move from the soft bed towards the kitchen.

Stroll straight into the kitchen to get a glass of water releasing an unbearable thirst, but accidentally his eyes caught a black shadow.

"Gosh, what was that?" he said surprised while rubbing both eyes. "Does this mansion have ghosts?" she shuddered in horror.

"What are you doing?"

Dara screamed in fear at the heavy sound of someone, instantly distracting her and turning around. "Ghost." The screech that sounded the entire mansion.

Plastered

It turns out that the so-called ghost is Erick, a little annoyed if his handsome face is equated with a ghost and touches the girl's forehead. "That's a punishment for you for likening me to a ghost."

"Aww.you surprised me." His grunt.

"What are you doing?"

Dara showed her empty teapot. "You're gonna get my drinking water out, and you what are you doing?"

"Just go for a walk." Erick answered half the truth, there's no way he'd say that the kiss made him sleepless.

"Erick, wait!" pekik Dara.

"What's wrong?" asked Erick curiously.

"Well, maybe it's not the right time." Say Dara in the heart, undo the intention of talking about the past. "Well, I forgot what to say." Cengengesan.

Erick sighed and gawked away from the place. "Hem."

"Next time I'll tell you the truth" she stared at the man's departure. "Eh, why am I here?" Dara began to think hard the reason she was in the kitchen, not sleeping all night made her brain not work properly.

****

In the office, as usual Dara focused on doing her job and was lucky that no one disturbed her, at least she had her own free time. He stretched his body and leaned his back against the chair, massaging the nape of the neck so that the soreness was slightly reduced.

The clock on the wall shows time to rest, coinciding with a hungry stomach. "I'm so hungry." His murmur holding the stomach, just standing from his chair had already shocked the arrival of Arvan.

"Want to go to the cafeteria with me?" the man smiled kindly.

"What a coincidence, come on!" dara agreed, both of them walking towards the cafeteria.

Two pairs of eyes accidentally caught it, one of them clenched his hand and stared intently.

"Master is okay?" asked Ibnu's assistant to feel that there was something to see the togetherness of Dara and also the new employee.

Erick stepped away first without saying a word, he was very upset to see Dara together with another man.

Arvan orders food, smiling at the girl in front of him.

"Why are you smiling?"

"It's okay, can I ask for your number?"

"certain." The two exchanged phone numbers, chatting lightly and occasionally laughing.

"It just pisses me off," Erick quietly followed Dara and was very annoyed to see their closeness, walking straight over. "It turns out you're here."

"What's wrong?"

"Greetings Mr. Erick," said Arvan kindly, standing up from his seat and bowing his body as a form of respect.

Erick did not budge because his gaze was only on Dara, dragging the girl away from the new employee.

"Don't force it, sir." Press Arvan to stop Erick's footsteps.

"Do you know who you're talking to?"

"I'm sorry if I'm presumptuous, sir."

"Don't interfere in my business if you don't want to be fired." Threaten Erick away while dragging Dara.

"Why are you? Let go of my hand." Pekik Dara rebelled.

Erick let go, a piercing look like he was preying on the girl next to him. Seeming to be thinking of finding a reason why he was dragging the girl away from the new employee, it was impossible to tell that he was actually very jealous.

"Why are you quiet?"

"Today, the routine examination of grandma every month, the responsibility of grandma is on you and I just remind." Erick finally got a logical reason.

"Then, how do I do my job?"

"Don't think about the office, Grandma's health is all that matters."

"All right."

Erick smiled faintly, for now managed to separate Dara and the new employee who seemed to want to approach the ex-lover.

"Everything's good. Lady Diana's health is excellent, and must be controlled every month. Make sure to always take the prescribed vitamins." Obviously doctor.

"You see! I'm doing fine. Once a month I have to control," chirped Diana's grandmother doesn't like hospital smells.

"For the sake of the Madam's health." The doctor smiled kindly. "Note also the food consumed by Lady Diana, make sure everything the nutritionist recommends is run for a healthy life."

"I hate hospitals, I want to go home!"

Dara helped Diana's grandmother and walked out of the room, while Erick was still chatting with the doctor.

"Can Grandma's senile disease be eliminated?"

Bugh

Not yet had the doctor answer, a sandal floated surprised them. Seeing the perpetrator, none other than Grandma Diana glared sharply at her granddaughter while leaving her waist. "God is still good to me, showing your true face. Lucky I came back and heard everything."

Dara tries to persuade Diana's sensitive grandmother not to make a fuss, giving Erick an eye code to apologize as soon as possible.

"I'm sorry, I just want Grandma to get well."

"I'm not sick just senile. Does that bother you?"

"I'm just asking, no offense, Grandma."

"Hem." Grandma Diana passed away, while Dara and the doctor held back their laughter.
