After lunch with her two children, Dian began to clean up the contents of the kitchen that was a little messy. Things like this should have become a habit of housewives, but many also prefer to hire helpers rather than having to bother working alone.
Unlike Dian, although including the upper class who are well-off, he prefers to work alone regarding home and child problems. His personality was closed enough that he did not have many friends or acquaintances.
Dian wiped the sweat off her forehead and wagged her sultry clothes. He was a little tired after cleaning his spacious yard, then continued with kitchen work.
Honestly, he had never felt this way before. She is a teenage girl who even just graduated high school when she met her ex-husband, Nico. There were many things he could and learned while in the mansion.
When she finished, Dian moved up to the top floor. He cleans up first and then accompanies Emily and Emilio to finish their schoolwork.
"Emi's." Dian reprimanded her beloved son who was busy with his own duties. This child is more independent than the sometimes spoiled Emily.
"Need help?" Sitting beside her while stroking Emi's head gently.
"No, I'll tell Mama if there's anything I don't understand." Dian agreed with a smile.
"Where's Lily?" Just realized there was only Emi there.
"Art room."
"Then Mama caught up with Lily first." Emilio nodded.
The art room is one of the special places Dian provided for Lily. His daughter has a talent for painting and playing the piano, even the little girl always carries her picture books everywhere. However, one thing always made Dian sad. Lily likes to paint and draw her papa.
As of now, when he entered, he was already treated to the sight of Lily holding a brush and canvas. The girl looked serious about painting every detail of the papa's face.
Dian never forbade her children to recognize their father. He did not want to be selfish so his children did not know their own father. Not wanting to disturb, Dian just circled the art room until he stopped in front of a large figura. A figura featuring a pair of women and men wearing bridal attire.
Dian smiled. It's been seven years, what is this guy doing now? Does he still remember himself?
"Mama! Look at this." Lily happily showed me her new painting. Dian was a little surprised by Lily's painting this time.
"Lily ... What are you drawing?" Because his daughter painted herself, Nico, even herself and Emilio like a happy family.
Seeing the look on her mother's different face, Lily looked down in fear. He just wants to have a complete family even if only in a painting. He knows that wish won't come true, but there's no harm in dreaming, right?
"Sorry, Mama," he said.
Dian took a slow breath, regulating her emotions so as not to scare Lily. She is no longer a teenage girl who can release her emotions carelessly, but she is a mother who must patiently educate her children.
"No. It's okay. Lily's painting is very nice, Mama likes it!"
Lily who looked down immediately smiled brightly. "Really?" Dian nodded.
"This will be our secret, Mama. We should always be happy in our own way."
Lily always tried to remember what Dian taught, including being happy in their own way. He will not ruin the happiness of the father just because he wants a complete parent. Lily is spoiled but understanding.
"Mama should not be sad even if there is no papa. There's already a sister and Lily who love Mama." Lily knows that Dian often hides her grief, pretending to be happy in front of them.
Dian couldn't help herself. Her tears flowed slowly but her lips still curled a smile for the baby. "That's why Lily shouldn't be sad either. Isn't there a sister and Mama who love Lily too?" Lily smiled widely and hugged Dian tightly.
"really. It's okay there's no papa. There is a Mama." The boy's voice touched both of them. Dian chuckled and brought Emi along with her hug.
Thank you for sending this little angel to me.
