Chapter 4: The Equation

"All of you are incompetent, how can you suddenly faint for no reason." Said someone was angry.

The one who was being beaten opened the words.

"Sorry boss, we're all completely unaware of that." He said there was a kidnapper plot.

The person called boss was even more irritated by them.

Duakkk

"I don't want to know who did it and drag him here." Said.

The kidnapper's plot can only nod like a bird.

The Campus

In a classroom, there were more than forty students focused on listening to the lesson.

One of those students is Valen who is the MC of this story.

"Okay, teaching time is up. Please re-learn what I have told you." Lecturer Said.

Valen rushed out of class and walked to the cafeteria.

While he was in the corridor, Valen accidentally collided with one of the students causing the textbook he was carrying to fall.

"Ouch." Said the fallen student.

"Ah, I'm sorry. Let me help you here." Valen said, then he immediately crouched down and helped pick up his books one by one.

Valen does not realize the person he is currently helping is someone who is currently being coveted by one campus.

For a moment the two of them looked at each other, but soon the disciple said.

"Thank you for the help. I'll excuse you first." Said the disciple.

Valen who saw that could only shrug his shoulders.

"Hmm, let it." Valen.

The person that Valen hit was Alexa Traffic the campus prima donna.

Tap Tap Tap

Valen arrived at the cafeteria and walked straight to an empty table.

"I'd better order something." Valen.

After a while, Valen decided to buy fried chicken.

"Excuse me, one fried chicken and also water." Valen.

"Okay, please wait." Seller says.

After waiting for a while, the food ordered by Valen was finished and he immediately brought it to the table.

When he was about to eat, Valen immediately stood up and looked around him carefully.

'What feeling is this?' Valen.

What Valen was currently feeling was that he smelled a very strange smell.

'Smell animals? No, it's a little stronger.' Valen.

Not finding a single clue, Valen sat back down and decided to go back to eating.

But what Valen doesn't realize is that he's currently being monitored by someone.

'It looks like there's someone like me here.' Said the man.

Daylight

The lesson hour was over and Valen was tidying up all his stationery and he put it in his bag.

After a while he went out of campus and walked towards the station where public transportation (rich kelolan it).

Valen continued to walk as usual, until he felt that he was currently being followed by someone.

'One man followed, what he wanted to do.' Valen.

Then Valen quickly turned towards the alley and it succeeded in making people who were chasing him surprised and ran after him.

"Where did he go." The man said, then he heard someone's voice coming from behind him.

"Here." Said the man.

Suddenly he turned around and was surprised to see the person in front of him was Valen.

"What business are you following me." Valen.

The man said casually.

"Woww relax, I just want to make sure that whether we're the same or not." Said the man.

Valen was of course confused by what the person in front of him was talking about.

"What do you mean?" Ask Valen.

The man smiled and said back.

"You don't have to pretend you don't know, we're a race to know." Said the man.

Then the person without further ado immediately darted quickly towards Valen.

The man kicked right in front of Valen, but unfortunately his kick was successfully held by Valen using only his left hand.

"What does this mean?" Valen asked and then he flicked his hand to make a retreat for the person in front of him.

"Hehh, well let me show you." Said the man.

Then not long after that person's eyes turned a light yellow color, and what made Valen surprised was the next incident.

The man in front of Valen turned into a werewolf.

'Grrr'

Valen was really surprised by the events that happened in front of him.

The werewolf attacked Valen with its claws.

But it was successfully avoided by Valen, but the wall that was beside Valen there was a long scratch from the Werewolf that he was currently facing.

The werewolf again attacked Valen ferociously and quickly.

But what surprised the Werewolf was that none of the attacks had been successful on Valen.

Grrerr

Feeling that none of his attacks hit Valen, finally the Werewolf jumped very high and immediately wanted to pounce on Valen with his mouth.

But his attack was successfully avoided again by Valen.

Feeling that he had crossed the line, Valen immediately shot up quickly and jumped to the side and kicked the Werewolf right in his head.

The werewolf hit the wall, which shattered the wall into pieces.

Unwilling to waste any time, Valen immediately went back to attacking the Werewolf right in his face.

After beating her up, Valen stood up and left her. But Valen saw that the werewolf was slowly starting to return to its original state.

After a while, the man got up from his stupor and looked towards Valen standing up.

"What's going on?" Ask the guy.

Unable to stand his behavior, Valen immediately walked towards him and strangled his neck and lifted him up.

"My answer's a bastard, who exactly are you?" Valen asked in a heavy tone and his red eyes shone.

The man shuddered in horror and had difficulty breathing.

"Kggh, I-I can't breathe." Said the man.

Hearing those words even made Valen tighten his grip.

"Cube you two choices. The first one answers my question or the second one dies." Valen.

That person was getting more excited because his grip was getting strengthened.

"B-well I'll answer anyway-i, to-please let go of my-me." Said the man with great difficulty.

Valen immediately let go of his grip and he fell down with a loud breath.

'Huftt Huftt, who exactly is this person.' Said the man.

Not given a chance to breathe, Valen immediately gave the person a question.

"Well quickly answer my question, who exactly are you?" Ask Valen.

"I-I am Vino, a student just like you." Said that guy named Vino.

"The next question is, why are you doing all this." Valen.

"I'm curious because, I can feel the same instinct that you have - the Werewolf instinct. Then I decided to follow you." Vino explained the incident.

"Okay, my next question. Are you sure I'm a Werewolf." Valen.

"I'm so sure because I can feel the aura of a Werewolf on you." Vino.

"Last question, are there still Werewolves like you?" Ask Valen.

"Of course, we're all spreading all over the country." Vino.

After getting a satisfactory answer Valen was about to leave but was detained by Vino.

"Wait, may I ask?" Vino asked who could move his body.

"What do you want to ask." Valen.

"I'm pretty sure you're a Werewolf, but I feel like there's something different about you. Are you from a different group?" Ask Vino.

Valen who heard that was even confused by Vino's question.

"Different groups? I don't understand what you mean." Valen.

Vino was stunned for a moment before speaking again.

"So you don't know the Werewolves?" Ask Vino.

Valen shook his head.

"All right, I'll explain." Vino.

After a while explaining, Valen finally understood the system of groups in the Werewolf nation.

The Werewolves had a hierarchical system and several groups. The first one has groups

1.Omega. This class can be called the lowest because this group tends to be weaker than others and can only be slaves of the strong.

2. Delta. In the Werewolf hierarchy, the delta is arguably an army.

3. Gammas. Gamma position is higher than delta because gamma is one of the group leaders and also the coach of the team.

4. Beta. The Beta faction was arguably the second strongest because this group was the vice commander of the Werewolf.

5. Alpha. Alpha is the strongest Werewolf because an Alpha must have the strength and spirit of leadership that is very strong and competent.

Werewolf was composed in various groups, werewolf groups usually consist of various groups that are above. But that does not mean that the group must always be in the form of a group. For example: an omega or delta can live a life of its own as well as others, but if one of the Alpha group only themselves they will be pursued or hunted by other groups.

After understanding all that, Valen immediately left Vino alone.

"God is so cruel to her." Vino.
