Chapter 16 - Go without saying goodbye

Mazaya's crying. For the first time in years, she finally cried. The break-up with Jorell left her heart hurt. But he would be hurt even more if he continued.

The cry was even heard and known by Mario.

"What actually happened? Why is my sister crying? I have always seen the strong side. But, now? Does this have anything to do with moving us?"

Mario can only guess without asking. Because her brother would never answer her. Her brother was very smart to lie about her feelings. Even sometimes, Mario can not distinguish between his brother is happy or sad. But this time, she knew that her brother was sad and fragile.

The next day, Mazaya surprised all the employees at the company especially the staff of his own design team for abruptly resigning. Joseph found the letter at Mazaya's desk.

Jorell snatched it up and read it. It also made Jorell wonder.

"Rel, did you know that Mazaya was resigning? I was really surprised" asked Joseph.

"Mazaya didn't even say anything about his resignation to me."

"Do you guys have any problems? You guys quarreling?" joseph asked suddenly.

"He asked for my breakup."

Jorell's reply, instantly silenced Joseph's mouth. He didn't want to say anything more because he was afraid that Jorell would be sad.

"If Mazaya resigns, what about the fate of our team? Who will replace him? Why does he like to surprise people? Why not say goodbye if you want to go out? Have we never been considered as coworkers? Huh! I'm so sad!"

Stefani spills her heart out in front of Jorell and Joseph. Joseph agreed with Stefani.

Unlike Jorell, the man actually went to the director's room. Wanted to ask the truth.

"Sister!" call Jorell.

"Certainly Mazaya resigned? Did he have something to say to sister?" ask Jorell.

"I don't even know anything. I was also shocked to see his resignation letter on my desk from the personnel manager. Even the strange thing is, the new design team chairman has been appointed by the company's top brass. It looks like Mazaya's been planning all this for a long time" Jefrey said.

Jorell let out a rough sigh. He called Mazaya by phone. But the result is nil. Looks like Mazaya's changed his phone number.

"I can't even call him. The number is off."

"Why do you look so sad Mazaya came out, is there something you're hiding from me?" ask Jefrey.

Jorell told his brother everything. About her and Mazaya dating and last night just broke up, but Jorell doesn't want to assume that they've broken up.

Jeffrey was surprised not to play. He did not expect his sister to be able to conquer a cold woman like Mazaya. But, why suddenly ask for a break up and the next day resign? Jeffrey guessed everything. Suddenly his mind was on his mother.

Do you know Jorell and Mazaya's relationship? Did Mom plan all this?

Jeffrey accused his own mother. But he could not immediately tell Jorell his suspicions. He'll make sure of it first.

"If you've broken up, accept it. Maybe Mazaya isn't the best for you. It's back to work!"

Jorell came out of his brother's room with a lethargic face. He can't think of anything now. Even if told to work, maybe the results will fall apart.

Shortly thereafter, there was an announcement of Joseph's appointment as the new design team leader. Joseph was both happy and sad. Pleased when he stepped up and sad because he had to replace Mazaya as soon as this is Mazaya has just resigned.

"You should have been appointed as the head of the Rel team. Even though you're new, but judging by your abilities, you're far more worthy than I am" Joseph said.

"No, you deserve it better" Jorell responded.

Until the time came home from work, Jorell immediately rushed away from the company and looked for Mazaya in his rented. However, the result is nil.

Mazaya's contract was empty. The owner said Mazaya had left early in the morning when the sky was still dark. When Jorell asked where the landlord had gone, the owner replied he did not know.

Jorell continues to search for Mazaya to where they used to meet, ranging from restaurants, complex parks, playgrounds to night markets. And Mazaya wasn't there. Everything was as planned by Mazaya carefully.

"Where are you going Mazaya? Why do you have so much heart for me? Ask for a break up and leave me! You didn't even say anything to me before! Go without saying goodbye! Brutal woman! You're so mean!"

Jorell loved Mazaya. He even cried on the streets. It was fortunate that it was raining, so Jorell could cover his grief with rain. The rain came as if he knew he needed it.

"Thurghhh!"

Jorell yells in the streets. His heart is very sick. His chest was very tight to accept this reality. Even Jorell is walking in no direction. His gaze was blank, his steps were fluttering and finally stopped on a bridge.

Jorell's body squeezed, he sat on the bridge hugging his knees in the rain.

"Mazaya, man,"

The name was continuously mentioned by Jorell. Eventually, his vision blurred and Jorell collapsed.

In a small town, Mazaya is arranging things at her house with Mario. They work together to make their new home a comfortable place to live.

Every now and then, Mario asks his brother.

"Is sister okay?"

"Yes, sister is fine. I'm glad I moved here. The atmosphere is comfortable and not as dense as in a big city."

But, I don't see that pleasure in big brother's eyes. I saw sadness there. Please be honest with me, brother! I want you to be able to count on me too! Like I'm counting on you!

Mario screams in his heart and asks his brother to rely on him.

"I hope you're not lying."

That's what Mario chose. And succeeded in making Mazaya speechless. The woman instead went to tidy up other items that were a bit far from Mario.

"You even chose to dodge sis instead of telling me. Am I not reliable?"

Mazaya's away from Mario. He did not want his sister to know that he was lying and actually his heart was fragile. He just wanted to show his strong side to his sister. He wants Mario to be strong against everything.
