Chaptre 35. Just Dreams

The girl's eyes opened slowly. He looked at the ceiling above him. As if it were no stranger. Those pretty eyes looked around him. It turns out he was in his room. Half in a daze, he sat himself on the bed.

The door to his room is open. There, the man who was supposed to be running the operation, was now in front of him. The girl stared happily and did not believe the man who was carrying the tray.

"Liam!"

The man he called Liam smiled and approached. "Where is your body? Are you dying, Bel?"

Abel blinked twice. "Gue why?"

"Lo forgot? You have a fever." Said the man while putting a tray on the nightstand.

Liam put away a few strands of Abel's hair, then placed the back of his hand on Abel's forehead. He nodded, "Udah down. Now, let's eat."

Abel nodded in spirit. The girl smiled broadly. "Maybe Liam's surgery was just a dream. He is now in front of me."

Liam smiled back, not for long, just a few seconds. The man suddenly pointed out the window to the right of Abel.

"Figured, look. There's butterflies."

Abel reflexively turned towards the window. There's nothing. The girl turned back to face Liam.

"Where are the butterflies, Ya-yam? The liam? The liam? Lo where is it?"

Where's Liam? Why did it suddenly disappear? Supposedly, the man was next to her. But why not exist now?

"Liam! Not funny to know. Lo where?"

The girl's eyes suddenly blurred, holding back the puddle of water that suddenly wanted to break out.

"Liam?"

"LIAM!"

"Woi! Lo why? A trance?"

The girl who was lying down was staring confusedly at her hand which was like she wanted to reach for something. What was that? The dreams? But it feels very real. Her cheeks feel wet. He...crying? The girl rubbed her cheeks that felt wet.

"Came? You're not in a hospital demon's possession, are you?"

The man looked at Abel confused. "Lo, cry?"

Abel looked at the man who had previously reflexively stood next to him. His eyes looked at the corner of the room. It looks like a check room.

"Where's gue? Why are you the one who won me?" without answering, Abel asked again.

The man stared lazily at Abel who ignored his question. "No thank you very much. You're in the doctor's private room, John's older cousin Chilo. If not because I was told, I ogah nemenin lo."

The girl did not respond. Not as usual. He looked at the clock in the room with a blank look. Half 10 o'clock at night.

"So that was just a dream?"

Atlas, the man who was told to look after Abel, looked confusedly at the girl who was muttering to herself with a face that looked worried, though faint.

"Lo ain't papa, is he?"

Abel. "Where's liam?"

"Liam's? He's in the operating room, from 2 hours ago." Atlas said, slowly. She knew Abel was sad right now. In fact, it seemed like it had entered into his dream.

Abel's gaze became sad. He lay down on his back to Atlas. Blanket that was previously only limited to the chest, he raised it to the neck.

"Gue wants to be alone."

Atlas was silent for a moment. Not long after, the man nodded in understanding. "You need nothing, Athena is on the bed beside you, behind the curtains. I'll wait outside too."

There's no answer. Abel just stared blankly at the window in front of him. Atlas sighed softly. "Gue get out first."

Abel nodded faintly in response. The girl stared at the dark night sky from behind the window. In the middle of his daydream, a butterfly passed by. Attention diverted.

The green-colored barrier curtain opened slowly. There, the girl who was already wearing casual clothes looked at Abel wistfully. He approached and crouched down in front of Abel.

Abel looked at the girl blankly. "Why, Na?"

"Lo want to change? I asked Theo for a change of clothes. There's two."

Abel nodded slowly. Athena smiled faintly. The girl stroked Abel's fine hair gently.

"You want to go around?"

Abel looked at Athena. He nodded small, agreeing to it.

Athena and Abel sat in front of the operating room. They just went around for a while. After all, what can you see in a hospital at night like this?

Not long after, the door opened. The two girls reflexively stood up.

"Where's Liam, doc? He's all right, isn't he?" abel asked with a worried look.

The doctor nodded slowly. "Please pardon. The patient on behalf of Liam Agaskara was pronounced dead at 22:20, and the heart transplant operation was successful."

Abel clutched the man's doctor's collar with tears coming back out. "DON'T KIDDING! NOT FUNNY TO KNOW!"

Athena held Abel's shoulder, "Bel. You can't do that."

"AFTER ME, NA!" Abel snapped while pushing Athena down.

Athena grimaced softly. Ares who had just come with Bara et al immediately approached them. Bara helped Athena stand up. Ares tried to calm Abel down. For some reason, Abel's strength felt twice as much as usual.

"Curl. Calm down."

"Lo's a no-nonsense doctor!"

Athena, who had just stood up with the help of Bara, went straight to Abel and turned the girl's body roughly.

PLAQUES

Silent.

Abel's grip on the doctor was released. Athena looked at Abel with an incomprehensible look.

"You should know that this operation has major consequences! You can't turn on a doctor who's been trying to make two lives! After all, about life and death is arranged by God! Liam understands the consequences, but he still admits to all of this. We're late. From the beginning we were late." Athena's voice swallowed. Abel lowered his head, sobbing softly.

"Well how long you've been angry with the doctors and nurses here, Liam won't be back."

Abel lowered his head, his sobbing getting heard. Athena hugged Abel, "I'm sorry, I snapped and knocked."

Abel shook his head slowly, returning Athena's embrace.

Ares who had witnessed the debate earlier the two girls lowered their heads. He felt like a bad friend. Theo patted the man's shoulder slowly.

"I'm sorry for what my friend has done." Chilo told the doctor.

The doctor smiled kindly. "It's okay, Mr. Chilo. We can understand it. Patients on Liam's behalf will be taken to the morgue. While patients on behalf of Silla will be taken to the room ****. We mourn the misfortune that happened."

Chilo nodded briefly. "Thank you."

"All right, we're resigning ourselves. Good night."

"Night."
