Ares, who was asleep, woke up to the sound of his phone ringing. Half-consciously, Ares shifted the green button and placed the phone in her ear.
"Hello?"
"Gue's scared."
Ares's eyes opened wide when he heard the hoarse and soft voice of the girl over there.
"Don't be afraid. I'm going there now."
While the girl over there sounded sobbing softly. Ares did not turn off their phone and put on the jacket quickly. Ares locked the door of her apartment in a hurry and ran into the elevator.
"Where's lo?"
"Room."
"Lo calm down, huh?"
Ares ran out of the elevator and down the deserted streets. His current destination is Athena, the girl who contacted him.
"Na? Are you still there?" ares asked with a loud breath.
Athena muttered hoarsely. "Step up the back."
"okay."
Ares quickly complies with Athena. The man smoothly entered and climbed a tree connected to Athena's window. Ares knows the location of Athena's room because of the story of Athena herself.
"Gue in the tree. Open the window."
Athena, who was curled up on the bed, limped open the window.
"Lo back off." Whisper Ares by phone.
Athena complied. Ares skillfully jumped up and entered through the window. Athena hugged Ares tightly.
Ares who knew nothing immediately hugged Athena in doubt. However, Athena grimaced.
Ares took off his arms and with the moonlight, Ares could see a faint wound in Athena's hand.
"Lo why?"
Athena shook her head slowly. Ares leads Athena to a bed. The man looked for the light switch and he found it.
After the room became bright, Ares looked at Athena who was covered in wounds. Athena also started sobbing slowly.
Ares immediately hugged Athena softly, and Athena drowned her head in the recess of Ares' neck.
"Udah, huh? Don't cry."
Athena hugged Ares and shed her tears there. Ares tries to calm Athena down without asking her to tell him a story. Athena now just needs calm, not questions.
After feeling better, Athena took off her embrace and wiped the water on her nose with her hands.
"Sorven, Na!"
Athena chuckled hoarsely and quietly. Ares thrusts a tissue at Athena.
"Where's the P3K box?"
Athena pointed down.
"Bottom mattress?" guess Ares and retorted the nod by Athena.
Ares took the P3K box and poured the red medicine. He painstakingly cleans Athena's wounds. Ares suspected, it was a blow wound. It was evident from the straight lines that were clearly imprinted in Athena's hands.
"Is there a wound again?"
Athena pointed at her feet. Ares was wide-eyed because he saw Athena's wounds so much. He had actually not noticed the wound on Athena's leg.
Ares returns to treat Athena while babbling.
"It's nothing, just call me. I don't like to see your wounds and cry like that."
Athena smiled faintly.
After cleaning the wound, Ares then wrapped the worst part of Athena's arm with a bandage.
"Lo change clothes first. Uniform bed time?"
Athena shakes.
"Yes already. If so, I'll go home first? When you are ready to tell, tell me. It's night, mending you sleep."
Athena clasped Ares' hand which patted her head.
"Don't go."
Ares looked at Athena who was looking down.
"Gue, you're ready to tell everyone."
Ares was stunned and again sat down beside Athena. "You can't do it, don't force it."
Athena smilingly looked at Ares, "Lo believes in the name of transmigration?"
Ares seemed to think for a moment. "That's it, I don't know. That doesn't make sense."
Athena nodded, "Gue also thought so. I thought it was all in the fictional world. But I feel smitten with reality. I transmigrated. The soul in this body was not Athena, but Alea."
Ares surprised. "Lo, no kidding, right, Na?"
Athena shook her head softly, "Gue Diamond Alea. The person I visited at the dinner was my real mother, Alea. I am a student in Japan because I got a scholarship. I was involved in a traffic accident and my soul moved here. I don't even know my real body. The real Athena's soul is sleeping on this body."
"Since when?" ares asked in disbelief.
"Since two days before I met you."
Ares was silent, not knowing what to say. Suddenly, his clever brain was blacklisted.
"Gue knows this doesn't make sense. Therefore, I always keep this secret in meetings. And you're the first person I told you about."
There was silence for a moment. Athena knew, Ares must be hard to believe about what happened to Alea. Alea also initially did not believe in soul transmigration. It was an out-of-the-box event.
"Gue believe." Ares said sure.
"Eh?"
"Gue believes in you."
Athena almost cried again. He thought that after Ares found out about him, Ares would stay away.
"So, what should I call you?"
Athena smiled sincerely, "As usual. And again, don't you ever change?" Ares nodded with a smile.
"Em, if I may know, why did you get those injuries?" asked Ares doubtfully.
"Ah, but if you don't want a story, I don't want to." Ares said quickly.
Athena shakes. "No papa, really. I believe in you the same. I hope you don't betray my faith."
Ares nodded, "Surely."
Athena with a slightly claustrophobic chest told me about the incident. The incident where he was slandered by Nasya. Athena also recounted the nightmare she had. That dream was no ordinary nightmare. However, it was the dark past of Athena and Alea. Athena wept not because of the wounds on her body, but because of dreams about the past that came suddenly and managed to tear apart the dark memories they buried.
Ares nodded in understanding and promised not to tell the secret to anyone else without Athena's permission.
Ares looked at the clock on Athena's wall, which was showing at 2 a.m. In other words, he had been there for almost an hour.
"Na, I'll go home?"
"I'm sorry, I'm taking lo."
"No papa. You can take as much as you want. As long as it's not weird."
Athena smiled faintly.
"I don't think I can lie to my feelings. Somehow every close to Lo, I feel strange and comfortable at the same time. Maybe-"
Ares looked at Athena in wonder and curiosity. His heart suddenly beat. What does Athena mean by feelings?
Athena smiled sincerely and continued her remark. "-gue likes you equally."
Eh?
