Chapter 44 - Showing his true nature
Shortly after, friends who noticed Aiver met the woman suddenly came to him.
“Astrapi, why did that person meet you?” Ask one of his friends.
“She just introduced herself, then left..Who is that guy named Aiver Portner?” Astrapi answered and asked her friends back.
“What? You don't know him. That person is one of the disciples of Continent Venerate just like your two brothers.” Astrapi's friends were surprised to learn that Astrapi did not know the man from the Portner clan.

“Continent Venerate..?” Astrapi said in her heart, also surprised when she heard the statement from one of her friends.
“Why is he coming to see me?” He had not expected as well as wondered why a Continent Venerate level disciple had come to see him.

“I just met him for the first time.. I also wonder why he met me?” Astrapi said, answering her friend's question.
–Year 3018 to 3019–
From that day on, Aiver continued to meet Astrapi. Plus Astrapi has finally reached the level of Continent Venerate and entered a higher class to make himself always meet the man.
Astrapi initially felt uncomfortable with the man who kept coming to see him, but slowly Astrapi accepted it until the two of them became familiar.

One day Aiver met Astrapi and immediately expressed his feelings that he liked the girl.
Unfortunately, Astrapi immediately rejected the man on the grounds that the woman had someone she liked.
Aiver was also disappointed by the answer given by Astrapi. He left Astrapi without saying anything.

From a distance, two Continent Venerate Lightio who served as elders in the magic academy were seen watching Aiver meet Astrapi. Even one of the elders did often notice Aiver coming to meet Astrapi before.
“Do we have to report this to Mr Hefaistos? You will already know for yourself the nature of the man.” Asked one of the elders, suggesting that it should be told by Hephaestus because the truth is, the elders already knew the true nature of the man named Aiver.
“I don't think we need to tell Mr. Hefaistos first.. If that person did the kinds of things we should have handled,” replied the other elder, they did not want to tell Hephaestus first because they believed they could still handle the man.

Since being rejected by Astrapi on that day, Aiver finally became violent and showed his true cruel nature.
He always persecuted and insulted the weaker disciples compared to him. He did this to vent his disappointment at being rejected by Astrapi and wanted to show that he was the strongest student among all the students in the academy.
His behavior was once stopped by Astrapi, but still did not produce results, the man continued to do so until it was difficult to be stopped.
Astrapi did not expect that the man could turn violent after being rejected by her. Astrapi actually feels a little guilty, but immediately finds out that Aiver is being nice to him just to get his attention and sympathy from him.
The good qualities shown by Aiver so far is a figure of speech, where the man actually has a bad nature since the beginning. Fortunately Astrapi at that time did not accept the feelings expressed by the man.

Aiver's behavior became more and more so until he finally got a warning from the academy elders.
However, due to his ingrained nature, Aiver still committed his bad actions to the students within the academy without caring for the warnings from the elders.

Illios who had not seen the man's actions felt indignant and wanted to crash into him.
“Illios... Don't do that, you will also be blamed later.” However, Kral immediately restrained his sister from going to Aiver who was torturing several students.
“Either I will be blamed later or not, which I am sure I am sick of seeing the actions of that person,” said Illios, immediately brushed off the hand of Kral who held him to release.
He then quickly ran and jumped towards Aiver.

Without a second thought, Illios moved closer to Aiver while concentrating on creating an attack.
“Fiamma sillabare..” Illios then launches fire element attack towards Aiver.
“Aqua sillabare..” Aiver also retaliated against Illios fire element attacks with water element attacks.
The collision between the two attacks, made the Aiver water element attack evaporate.
“Glacies sillabare... Iceberg..” Using his magic power, Aiver turns the steam into a barbed ice chunk and quickly expands towards Illios.
Although Illios leapt back to avoid it, one of the spines from the ice splinter stuck into one of his shoulders.
Not fatal to him, Illios in an all-clearance smashed the ice chunk using the power of his magic energy projection.
“Fiamma sillabare...fire horse..” Illios jumped high up and launched a horse-shaped fire element attack towards Aiver.
People who were around the place were running to avoid the effects of the attack.
However, Aiver only stayed silent while putting on a grinning smile expression waiting for the attack of the Illios fire element without having to try to dodge.
In an instant the attack hit the surface along with Aiver who was in that place to create a powerful enough explosion.
“What?” Suddenly Illios was surprised to see that Aiver was still fine as he first protected himself by using a shield from his magic energy projections.
Aiver again put on an expression accompanying him seeing Illios look surprised. The man then launched his projection shield into a gunshot attack.
Illios who was now on the surface swiftly dodged all the attacks launched by Aiver.
Just now that he was aware, it turned out that a magic diagram had appeared right below him.
“Incantesimo segreto.. Coup de explosion...”.
“Akh..!” The magic diagram that was under Illios in an instant exploded to the point of leaving him helplessly sprawled.
After Illios suffered a defeat, Aiver slowly came to him while lining one of his hands with a projection of energy intending to end Illios.

“Kakak..!” Shouted Astrapi, looking worried to see his brother.
“Astrapi wait.. Let me.” Just as Astrapi was about to stop Aiver, Kral suddenly held him back.
Kral then quickly slid towards Aiver to stop the man from attacking his brother.
However, the young man was still not fast enough to reach Aiver.
