Chapter 11

That day Barra went back to the mobile phone repair place where he found photos of Devano partying shabu at school.

"Can I talk to you for a second?" ask Barra

"Sorry I'm busy, I only accept customers who want to serve their phones, so if you don't have any problems with your phone you should just go" the man replied coldly

"I need other photos to ensnare Devano, I'm sure you have a lot so give it to me and I'll pay for it no matter what you ask" Barra replied

The man smiled bitterly at Barra.

"Basic jerk, do rich people like you always judge things by money?. Just so you know your money is useless here because I'm not giving you anything else, so go!" exclaim that man

"Did you really stop after this. Didn't you continue your quest to teach your sister the rapist a lesson" Barra replied, causing the man to instantly stare at her

Barra then showed the man some photos.

"I don't know if your motivation was to hack into all the phones you've been servicing and give them to me. But after I saw the pictures one by one now I know, I'm sure you're trying to find justice for your brother. Almost all the pictures you sent me were always Naira. High-achieving students at Madrid High School who committed suicide after getting a scholarship to Harvard?"

"How do you know who you really are?" ask the man curious

"Just like you I'm a hacker, so I can easily figure out who you are from the trail of those photos" Barra replied

The man then told him why he opened the cellphone service and hacked the contents of the phone he served. The man initially sought evidence of his sister's murder at the elite school. He knew full well that if Naira would never commit suicide after she got a scholarship from Harvard, it was impossible for her.

Later he only found out if the cause of death was because he was pregnant, and he only found out who the culprit was after hacking a video of one of the perpetrators mobile phones.

After the incident the man more and more evidence about the murder of his sister, but instead of getting evidence of violence that befell the sister he instead found many crimes committed by Dev the perpetrator.

When he met Barra who caught him hacking into one of the customers' phones, the man was forced to show the hack he got to the man.

Seeing Barra wearing the Madrid High School uniform he hopes the man can help him reveal Dev's crimes.

"Are you sure you can reveal all his crimes?" ask the man

"Of course,"

"Aren't you afraid of criminalization, weren't your efforts wasted yesterday?" ask the man named Ferdi

"I'm sure this time it will work, I swear I will reveal everything even if I have to sacrifice myself" Barra replied

Meanwhile, Rendy, worried about Rendra's condition, visits her twin brother at the hospital where he is being treated.

As usual, he sneaked so that no one would know of his coming.

He held his fingers tightly to give him strength. Her tears suddenly trickled as she looked at the bruises all over her face. Even his eyes looked still blue and swollen.

"I've wanted to meet you all my life, I wanted to play with you and even go to school with you, but unfortunately none of that was possible because of circumstances. Now that I know why you'd rather stay with me than with me, I'm sorry if I hated you sometimes because I felt like you loved you more. I hope you get well soon so you can realize all your sister's wishes, brother," said Rendy then rubbed her tears

"If you wake up, I promise to protect you and I won't let anyone touch you. One more thing, I will also repay the actions of those who have made you like this, so quickly get up so that you can see them kneeling at your feet" said Rendy

As the man let go of his hand he felt Rendra's hand move as if holding him away.

His eyes widened to look at Rendra who was still lying in a coma.

"From now on I will never leave you, I will always be by your side to protect you,"

"Mother??" his eyes look very angry. Marlina could clearly see the longing in her youngest child.

"So you were the one who was disguised as Rendra yesterday?" marlina looked teary

"So mom already knows,"

"A mother knows her children better. How could I not know," he replied riled

The woman immediately hugged him tightly, "I'm sorry Mother who has never given you affection" said Marlina sobbing

*Tok, tock, tock!

Marlina immediately let go of his embrace and told Rendy to hide in the toilet.

The woman immediately opened the door and welcomed the arrival of Bambang with Arman.

"How is he doing?" ask Bambang

"No change" replied Marlina flatly

"Before I apologize for having to deliver news that is not wearing" said Bambang

"Say sir, I'm ready" Lina replied

"We decided not to extend Rendra's scholarship because she had not studied for almost a month, besides that we will also stop financing her medical expenses starting tomorrow morning,"

"No papa, I know you're just running errands. Besides, I also want to take care of my son at home" Lina replied

"But we will continue Rendra's scholarship and return to pay his medical expenses if you want to sign a peace letter with the Devano family," Bambang then gave a letter of agreement to him.

"I'm sorry I can't make peace, but Dev's been breaking the law and he has to be tried. I'd rather pay for my own medical expenses than lick my own spit" the woman replied to her son

The woman was suddenly startled when she saw Rendra suddenly open her eyes.

"Rendra, are we conscious, son?" he said Bambang and Arman immediately approached Rendra to make sure if the young man was really human

Seeing that Rendra was conscious, Arman immediately rushed out to call the doctor. Not long after a doctor came and examined Rendra's condition.

"Alhamdulillah, Rendra's condition has begun to improve. His vitals are working, it's just that he may not have recognized anyone" said the doctor

"Will he remember me forever?" ask Marlina riled up

"No mother, maybe now she still doesn't remember anyone because of the blow that caused the brain nerve damage, I'm sure with the best treatment and therapy she can recover,"

"Thank you, Doc, thank you" replied Marlina

Amar was so happy when he heard the news that Rendra was conscious.

A week later, Bambang and the teachers were surprised to see Rendra back in school.

"Are you sure you're going back to school here without a scholarship?" tanya Bambang seemed to doubt the ability of the Rendra family.
