The Ucup

The Ucup
Unsensitive

"Later you will know, the heavy ones open to resist longing, but holding back anger when the heart is about to get angry."

A Week Later........

Ucup had not seen Aqila come to buy a tela for one week.

"Abang tela-tela." Hana who was standing in front of the Ucup wagon.

"What do you want?" Ucup was busy poking at the tela so he did not turn his head towards Hana.

"What's your taste, brother?" Hana who just kept looking towards the salesman's brother tela-tela.

"Balado, BBQ and sweet corn, what would you like to taste?" Ucup who raised the tela that had been fried and then he cut the tela.

"Balado, BBQ and sweet corn" replied Hana.

"How much do you want?" ask Ucup.

"Make 5 thousand to three brothers" replied Hana.

"All right." Ucup began to make all three flavors.

Hana continued to look at the face of the older brother, but Ucup's face continued to look down so that Hana could not see clearly. So that makes Hana more curious about the face of her brother tela-tela. Ucup made the tela in three different packages and then he put the three packets into a plastic bag.

"This is the tela." Ucup gives Hana a plastic bag.

"Abang Ucup." Finally Hana can see the face of the tela-parent brother turned out to be Ucup.

"You're Aqila's friend, right?" Ucup looked at Hana's face.

"Yes my brother" replied Hana.

"Aqila where?" Ucup was curious about Aqila who was not seen this week, so Ucup asked Hana.

"She's sick again" replied Hana.

"What is she sick?" ask Ucup.

"Sick hearted brother." Hana spoke with a sniffle.

"Why hurt me?" Ucup was surprised by Hana's words.

"Since my brother has been helped Aqila even behaved cuckoo," replied Hana.

"What the hell do you mean?" Ucup whose brow was furrowed heard Hana's words.

"Didn't you know that Aqila likes you?" ask Hana.

"How'd you like?" ask Ucup.

"Ah brother is not sensitive to be a man." Hana's face looked annoyed with Ucup being insensitive towards Aqila.

"Well, I'm insensitive, by the way" said Ucup.

"And my brother is insensitive" said Hana.

"How insensitive is it?" ask Ucup.

"Ah wear it again." Hana took the plastic bag from Ucup's hand.

"I don't know why" said Ucup.

"It's brother's money." Hana hands the money to Ucup.

Ucup was lying on the bed while making his arm as a pillow. Ucup is thinking about Hana's words, Ucup is indeed insensitive when dealing with women. Ucup was also confused by his feelings.

During this week Aqila did not come to the place where she was selling, Ucup felt longing for Aqila. Ucup tried to close his eyes as he closed his eyes Aqila's face was overshadowed by his. Ucup then opened his eyes again.

"Ah, is it with me?" Ucup muttering.

"Why do I face the most Aqila continues," said Ucup.

"Did I miss Aqila?"

"Why did I keep thinking about Aqila?"

"What should I do to stop thinking about Aqila?"

"Why does Aqila spin in my head?"

"It seems like I really miss Aqila."

"How can I meet Aqila?"

"I can't go to college to find Aqila, while I'm on college leave."

"So what should I do now?"

Ucup who could not sleep because the shadow of Aqila's face just kept appearing before him. Ucup had closed both eyes still the shadow of Aqila's face was there.

Esokan..........

Zai was already wearing his school uniform out of his room. Zai walked towards the kitchen when he arrived at the kitchen Zai saw father and mother already sitting on the chair in front of the dining table.

"Good morning mom's dad." Zai pulled the chair in front of the mother

"Good morning, Za" said the father.

"Where's dad's 'Abang Ucup?" Zai who did not see the whereabouts of Ucup finally asked about Ucup to father.

"Dad doesn't know." Dad said he didn't know about Ucup.

"Maybe Ucup hasn't woken up yet" said the mother.

"Is Ucup's brother not awake yet?" Zai was surprised to hear the words of his mother.

"Such as this was the case from earlier mother had not seen Ucup coming out of her room." Mom tells Zai and dad that she hasn't seen Ucup out of her room.

"Then I go to Ucup's room first." Zai stood up from the bench and walked out of the kitchen.

Zai was already at the door of Ucup's room, he knocked on Ucup's room door.

Toks....... Tok

"Abang Ucup."

"It's me Zai."

"Bag me in." Because there was no answer from Ucup, Zai finally opened the door to Ucup's room.

After the door of Ucup's room opened Zai walked into the room. Zai looked at Ucup who was still asleep on the bed. Zai approached Ucup who was on the bed.

"Abang Ucup."

"Wake up." Zai who was already standing on the edge of Ucup's bed woke Ucup up.

"Zai I'm still coughing." Ucup who heard Zai's voice woke her up, she tried to open both her eyes but was so sticky that it could not open.

"But it's morning, brother" said Zai

"Yes I know, I'm still coughing." Ucup who last night had difficulty sleeping because of the image of Aqila's face so that she could not fall asleep. Ucup was able to fall asleep at 03.00 wib in the morning after feeling tremendous sleepiness he finally fell asleep.

"Yes already then brother." Zai could not bear to wake Ucup, Zai knew Ucup must feel tired every night had to work selling tela while in the morning he was in the garden helping his parents. And during the day Ucup must peel cassava and steam the cassava.

Once steamed Ucup must cut the cassava with a shape like the number one that is elongated. In the afternoon Ucup had prepared tela that was placed in the cart. Ucup pushing the cart to the place of sale is quite far and requires a lot of energy.

Zai died in Ucup's room, he returned to the kitchen for breakfast with his father and mother. Zai had a hard time sitting on that chair earlier.

"Where's cup?" ask dad.

"Still asleep" replied Zai.

"Is he sick?" Mom is worried about Ucup because she doesn't usually behave like this.

"No mother" replied Zai.

"But he's having bad luck like this, what's up?" ask mother.

"Maybe he's tired of mom, so he needs rest" replied the father.

"So you better not wake up brother Ucup, let him rest" said Zai.

"Zai was right, Ucup needed a break, the morning he helped us, during the day he prepared merchandise, in the afternoon he pushed the cart to the place in the sale. After arriving at the place he was selling then he was selling tela-tela.
