After Bosweric and Aegric left the room, the atmosphere of silence for quite a long time occurred. Lord Arduric looked like he was a little confused to start the conversation.
"Dad?" Theo broke the silence.
"Well, I'm confused where to start." Answer Lord Arduric. His facial expression looked heavy, seen bearing the burden.
Seeing the look on his father's face, Theo, who was actually curious, became worried. "Let's explain slowly, Dad, I understand. Or maybe you can rest first, restore your condition first. We can talk about this tomorrow."
Hearing Theo's reply, Lord Arduric's eyes were a little teary, he looked at Theo with a haru look at once proud.
"My little son who was naughty and spoiled, has now become a very awesome grown man." Lord Arduric said, with a warm smile.
Hearing the father's flattery and proud gaze, Theo could only smile. He was happy to make his father proud, but did not know what to answer.
"Son, have you ever heard of the 10 Biggest Knight Group?" Ask Lord Arduric.
"I heard it from Uncle Bosweric when I gave my father a public lecture a few years ago." Answer Theo.
"Hmm. You know where we live is called Gaia Land. Gaia Land is divided into five regions, North Region where we live, South Region, West Region, East Region, and Mid Region." Lord Arduric began to give an explanation.
"I'd like to explain this before we talk about your mother's problems, so you can understand how important this is and not act rashly, this is also a message from your mother." Said Lord Arduric while staring at Theo.
Gaining a gaze from his father, Theo gave a brief nod, signaling he understood.
After feeling Theo understood, Lord Arduric continued his explanation. "In every region, there is a system of government that governs it, as in our region of the North Region, ruled by three great empires, namely the Glaire Empire, Ironshield Empire, and Blackwood Empire."
"And in each of these governments, they usually have a powerful Grub Knight to help guard their territory."
"Of all the Knight Group, there were ten Groups that were recognized as the strongest for having reached a 5-star Gold-class Group. They were later named the 10 Biggest Group Knights. Consisting of 4 Clans, 3 House, 2 Tribe, and 1 Sect."
Lord Arduric paused for a moment to take a breath and drink his tea before continuing. "4 Clans were in the South Region, namely the Uesugi Clan and the Oda Clan that were in the Fuji Empire, then the Xiao Clan and the Zhou Clan in the Tang Empire."
"In the North Region, there are 3 House, the House of Braveheart located in the Blackwood Empire, then the House of Helsinsberg and the House of Asgard in the Ironshield Empire. In Glaire Empire itself only our house is closest to its position before a decline."
"Then there were 2 Tribes, which came from the East Region. Barbarian Tribe of Desert Tribe Unite and Elaenor Tribe of Thousand Island."
"Last there were 1 great Sects in power in the West Region, they were the Endless Heavens Sect of Sky Island. The West Region is somewhat different from the rest of Gaia Land, it is a closed territory and does not want to establish diplomacy with other regions."
"This region is controlled only by one major government, namely Sky Island, a large Kingdom that stands on an island that flies in the sky, The Endless Heavens Sect is a special sect established by this kingdom, and your mother's matter, is related to this last group." The Lord Arduric.
"Hmm, what's your relationship with them? Isn't the distance between the North Region and the West Region where this sect is located very far away?" Ask Theo.
"Hahh. This is related to the origin of your mother." Lord Arduric answered, then looked blankly ahead, like he was nostalgic remembering something.
"Your mother, she's not from the North Region, in my youth, I met her while on expeditions and adventures in the West Region."
"When your mother was being attacked by a gang of robbers, I accidentally met her and acted as a hero to save her. Haha.." Lord Arduric looked happy when recalling that event.
"Because her legs were injured, I took care of her in a few weeks, although she was cold at first, she began to open up a long time ago, and we became close."
"Actually I suspect your mother's status is not an arbitrary woman, it can be seen from her elegant clothing style and attitude and above-average talent. I'm guessing, your mother was a noble child or a disciple of a royal or a famous Knight groub who got lost while traveling in the West Region."
Lord Arduric's face seemed to sink into the nostalgia of his romantic memory when recounting these events, making Theo's heart warm. He just silently listened, not daring to cut the story from his father at all.
"But every time I asked her about her identity, she always refused to answer. She simply said, unwilling to remember her past, and she was just a wandering woman who was looking for her identity."
"I, who was young and drowned with the charm of your mother, stopped asking about her origins. Until I finally brought her home, and a few years later we got married."
"In the years that followed, everything was peaceful and happy as you know it. Both of your sisters were born with you, making our little family perfect."
"However, a few years ago, along with our internal house problems, your mother's past came to her." The look on Lord Arduric's face became a little grim when it came to this explanation.
"Your mother turned out to be a princess from Sky Island, as well as one of the most talented disciples of the Endless Heavens Sect."
"This was revealed because somehow the sect learned of your mother's whereabouts, and sent one of the messengers who was none other than your mother's uncle to come to our house looking for her."
"This messenger said he wanted to pick up your mother and bring her home to Sky Island, on the direct order of the royal leader."
"Surely at first I refused, how could there be a husband who would willing his wife downstairs to just leave." Lord Arduric's expression became furious.
"The mouth thinks my rejection is an insult to Sky Island, but I don't care."
"At the time, your mother suddenly knelt in front of the messenger, and said she was willing to come back. With a request to give time to say goodbye to me and your two brothers first."
"The messenger agreed with your mother's request."
"He promised to find a way to return home without causing conflict between the two groups. And with a heavy heart I let go to accept your mother's decision."
"Last, I don't know why your mom said she could know you were alive. He wants me to tell you all this, so you don't act rashly. Your mother wants me to tell you when you're back, not to look for her. If you really want to look for him, you should already be a pretty strong Knight. At least reach the King Class heaven stage." Lord Arduric closed his explanation.
