Unmei and Naine VS Bernard

Chapter 24: the:

「 Unmei & Naine VS Bernard 」

Two weeks had passed by very quickly, and the day that was set to be reunited with Callian had arrived today. Because Luna also said that she wanted to meet directly with Callian, therefore Unmei also brought Luna along with Naine to a place that had been previously determined.

Luna and Unmei, wearing white robes and fox masks, really made the view on the tree really look very terrible, apart from the darkness of the night. But when they saw that a large ship was moving towards them, Luna and Unmei were panicking down from the tree intending to wake Naine who had fallen asleep.

But it turns out that Naine had woken up, hugging his sword, he looked at the ship that was still hundreds of meters from where he was.

"Master." Naine.

"So you're saying, Master was on that ship?." Ask Unmei to make sure.

Naine immediately nodded her head, before she ran up to the ship. Unmei and the real Luna were still shocked and confused, and immediately ran after Naine even though in terms of speed they were really no match for Naine.

"He didn't disappoint me, he has truly become a predatory Wolf now. And it looks like he has also found his true self." Said Callian who was sitting on the edge of the deck of the ship, when he saw Naine was running and staring at him while hugging the sword he was carrying.

And a little further behind Naine, she also sees Unmei with another woman, whom Callian does not know. 

"Who are they?, they look dangerous." Ask Bernard.

"They are your opponents, come down and take them seriously." Reply Callian.

Although Bernard did not understand, but after he asked his subordinates to stop the ship, he immediately jumped down after the ship stopped moving. As Bernard darted and tried to injure Naine with his great sword still sheathed, Luna and Unmei swiftly restrained the great sword.

When their swords clashed, Luna and Unmei could instantly tell that this big-bodied man was stronger than the people they had fought. Naine who did not care about the surroundings, without feeling the slightest bit of guilt, she immediately climbed up a tree and slid up onto the ship. He went straight to Callista.

"Kugh!. That damn wolf instead of helping him just went right away!." Unmei said annoyedly while still in a position holding back Bernard's greatsword.

"Focus, we'll do as usual!." Luna said to Unmei.

Unmei nodded her head, even though she was still upset with Naine. Though he raised his sword to protect her, yet now the person he had tried to protect was instead watching while he was in trouble.

"Master!." Naine said hello to Callian.

Astel and Suisei are really very surprised because of Naine's arrival, but because she seems to have a relationship with Callian, both of them immediately ignore her and are more interested in the fight that is going on below.

The cooperation of Unmei and Luna had really made it very difficult for Bernard, because the combination attack they did made Bernard not even dare to strike back, Bernard was currently in a defensive position.

As Callian suspected, Bernard was also able to immediately find out that the weakness in their combat attack was within Luna. Therefore he gave up his hands free by Unmei, and directly attacked Luna blindly. Bernard also instantly no longer held himself back, he instantly let out his aura, and displayed his class as a Six Star Swordsman.

"Naine, help Unmei to defeat the man. Show me your strength." Callian's orders to Naine.

Naine immediately nodded in understanding, before jumping up and taking turns darting towards Bernard.

Unable to keep up with Bernard's speed and indiscriminate attack, Luna's sword broke instantly, and she received a non-playful kick from Bernard. When Luna crashes very far away, and Bernard intends to chase her down and disable Luna completely, his intentions must be put down because now he has to deal with Naine. 

After successfully resisting Naine's attack darting from above, they instantly charged towards each other without the slightest thought of their defense.

When Unmei did not find Luna's whereabouts, he realized that this was a test given by Callian to them, after he saw Luna being taken aboard the ship.

Unmei instantly read the battle situation. It was there that he saw that both of them possessed destructive power that both of them were equally terrifying, in just an instant that the two of them had leveled the forest that became the arena where they fought. Since Naine had not helped herself before, she also immediately went up to the ship to catch up with Luna.

"Had he told me not to hold back!. Well, if that's what he wants, I'll do it!." Bernard said as he endured Naine's onslaught without stopping, before unleashing his entire aura and infusing Wyzer energy into his sword.

Even though it caused Naine to crash only slightly, it instantly damaged Naine's attack pattern and left Bernard with a chance to turn things around. Seeing this as well, Unmei immediately abandoned her intentions and immediately came to Naine's aid.

"Bas coward!. A knight won't try to attack from behind!." Said Bernard who was upset because of Unmei who tried to stab him from behind, while holding back Unmei's sword. 

"Unfortunately I'm not a knight. You did it first anyway, and you shouldn't forget every single one of your enemies!." Unmei.

It reminded Bernard of Naine. He had completely forgotten about his existence, and provided an enormous opportunity and gap for Naine to be able to attack him. With the glare of his extremely sharp eyes, Naine jumped up before making a powerful attack on Bernard.

The attack created two extremely loud thumping sounds, and made their entire battle arena become filled with dust smoke. And after the smoke had disappeared, victory had become Bernard's.

Unmei and Naine were lying unconscious on the ground not far from where Bernard was.

While staring at his large Sword that had the marks of the sword slash, even though it was a little small, but still it immediately made Bernard feel very horrified to Unmei and Naine. He even pointed it out in person, not wanting to take Naine and Unmei aboard for fear that the two of them would suddenly awaken, and would immediately attack him again.

That's why he gave up the task of taking Unmei and Naine aboard the ship, to his subordinates. Looking at Callian who was smiling mockingly, completely re-opened his eyes as wide as possible. It also instantly awakened its level.

Although people knew that he was the winner in the fight, for Bernard it was a crushing defeat for him. That's the meaning of Callian's smile to him, it also indicates that he is still not worthy to be able to fight with Callian. 

That is what Bernard thought.
