The sound of a motorbike from the direction of the gate turned Milna's face away. After waiting for some time, Milna was relieved. Siti Nur appeared from behind the gate. Siti Nur's expression changed immediately when she saw Mr. Darmanta. It started to. Looks like there's something Mr. Darmanta did. The position of Milna who is still holding a broom like he is defending makes him sure to make a conclusion, Mr. Darmanta wants to do nothing to Milna.
"Sir Darmanta!" Shouted Siti Nur while rushing up to the terrace of the house. His quick steps made his heart beat faster. He looks exhausted. He immediately held one of the porch poles. One of his hands pointed towards Mr. Darmanta. He had trouble getting the words out because he could not stabilize his breathing. He really looks tired. Seeing that, Milna immediately took off the broomstick she was holding and directly held Siti Nur's body.
"What the old man did to you, son," said Siti Nur in a faltering voice. Milna rubbed Siti Nur's back while glancing at Pak Darmanta with an unhappy look. Mr. Darmanta just smiled. He turned around and returned to his seat. A cigarette was removed from the pack on the table and then lit it. His left leg was raised above his right leg and moved it. Cigarette smoke almost covered his face. Siti Nur looked at him sharply.
"I did nothing, Siti Nur. I just told her she was my future wife" Mr. Darmanta said. Siti Nur glanced at Milna. Milna looked at him as if asking for an explanation. Siti Nur lowered her face with ****** long breath. Seeing Siti Nur silently bow her face, Mr. Darmanta shook his head. His smile is getting bigger. He got up and approached the two.
"I'm here to warn you of our agreement years ago. It's time you told your son everything. I don't want anything to happen that I don't want. She's about to graduate soon and I won't delay my marriage." Mr. Darmanta threw his cigarette smoke towards the face of Siti Nur, causing Siti Nur to cough. Milna's angry. Mr. Darmanta's body is pushed back strongly. But the body of Mr. Darmanta who looks still burly does not move sediktpun. He just smiled looking at Milna who was staring at him. A cigarette that is still half-remaining in the drop in front of the tip of his shoe then stepped on it. Then I slowly left both.
"Remember, Siti Nur. If you're still looking for a reason to postpone it, I'm not afraid to confiscate this house. One more you I can throw in jail" said Mr. Darmanta in a loud voice as he arrived at the gate. Siti Nur simply lowered her head as Milna looked at her. But seeing the condition of Siti Nur, Milna invited her into the house. After sitting Siti Nur by the side of the bed, Milna rushed to the kitchen to fetch him some drinking water.
Siti Nur sighs long. He looked at Milna who seemed to still want to ask for an explanation for the words of Mr. Darmanta earlier. Although Milna was still silent, but her eyes hinted that she wanted Siti Nur to explain what really happened between her and Mr. Darmanta.
"I'm sorry, son. Mom hasn't explained it yet. That's what I'm really afraid of. Mr. Darmanta turned out to come alone and revealed everything to you. Again, the mother min_ta ma_af, son," said Siti Nur stammering. His cries began to sound. It was in his tears. Milna let out a long sigh.he rubbed the back of Siti Nur. Siti Nur lunglai's body was weak. His head rested on Milna's shoulders. He's still quiet. Seeing Siti Nur who was still as excited in her tears, she did not have the heart to ask him further. He waited until Siti Nur calmed down and was able to continue his story.
Siti Nur raised her head. She rubbed her eyes with the tip of her headscarf. He sighed long. Trying to calm himself. He looked towards Milna. Milna it's time to know what really happened. This is a good time to tell it. That was the biggest burden of his life. A burden that always haunts his tranquility. Especially when the night comes. Milna is an adult. He should have reduced his burden by telling Milna.
"It's been going on since your father died, son. Economic difficulties that make mothers forced to do it. Since your father's death, I've had no one. In order to survive, the mother had to take a loan to Mr. Darmanta. I don't want to see you drop out of school either. You have to go to high school."
"But Mr. Darmanta is not a good person who sincerely helps the mother's difficulties. Day by day, mother loans grow. The choking flowers make it impossible for the mother to return it. Until there was a covenant between mother and Mr. Darmanta. Mom is willing to marry him.
"But once again, Mr. Darmanta is indeed a crafty person. He suddenly made a unilateral decision. He annulled his desire to marry mother and asked to replace her with you."Siti Nur shook her head. It was as if he was blaming himself for what was happening. Milna lowered her head. A tear fell on his lap.
"I'm sorry, son. Whatever you call your mother, you will accept it" said Siti Nur.
Milna closed her eyes. Trying to squeeze out her tears.
"How much do we owe to Mr. Darmanta, Mom," said Milna after a long time they remained silent in each other's sobs. Siti Nur let out a long sigh while raising her head. He shook weakly.
"Too many, son. Since you were in elementary school until you went to college, the cost I got from Mr. Darmanta. I sincerely became the wife of Mr. Darmanta for your sake. But I'm not sincere if she asks me to make you a wife" said Siti Nur.
"How, Mom," asked Milna again. Back Siti Nur sighs long. But now his breath sounded more roaring. Like bringing back the anger in his heart.
"Mom doesn't know for sure, son." Siti Nur shook her head. His facial expression showed his annoyance. "Those bastard men are cunning men. Suddenly he handed me a note that surprised my mother. The debt that I had estimated to be around a hundred million, turned out to be three hundred and fifty million."
Milna surprised. A very large number. An impossible amount could be paid Siti Nur herself. With both of them, it took many years to earn such a large sum of money. There is no other way.
Milna held both hands of Siti Nur.
"Let me marry her, Mom. This is my way of life. The money is too big. The price of this house will not be able to pay if we sell it. I'm sincere if I have to marry Mr. Darmanta,"
"No, Son. I'll never be willing if you become that bastard's wife. I don't want to see you suffer,"
"But we have no choice, ma'am. Where should we find that much money." Milna let go of her hand. He held Siti Nur's head slowly and brought it closer to her face.
