Taehyung still felt afraid to be honest with the Junta. He did not want to lose a friend for the second time. But wouldn't it be better to be honest than later to be caught and regretted, that's what Taehyung had in mind. That's why he tried to tell Junta.

"Where do you know." Taehyung was surprised because Junta could guess it right.

Taehyung approaches Haruka for a moment, and he must go home as the Junta tells him that he must prepare for the exam.
