...Some are quite saved, some must be disclosed...
The moon after the chaos ensued, the light was so bright. Rey deliberately slowed down her flight, because she still wanted to be with Debora here. That girl has since looked so comfortable there.
Rey watches their ruined city. The rensuar where they lived were completely chaotic. Debora saw what Rey was thinking, and it was clear that Rey was upset.
"One source of unhappiness is thinking about things in an exaggerated way. And that's who you are, Rey!"
A remark was returned for him. That made Rey laugh.
"I didn't think of anything!" Rey.
"Alright, I'm tired Rey! Can you speed up the flight?"
"The team leader's words are a priority for me!"
Rey refocused her mana at one point. One flap of his wings carried him away like a flash of lightning. A second later their bodies had arrived in front of the headquarters.
"We're here!" Rey said cheerfully. When Debora was about to get off, Rey held her back.
"Give me the key, I won't put you down!"
"We're here, put me down Rey!"
"No, I'll take you in. Then I put you down right in front of your door."
Debora sighed hearing what Rey said. His hand moved to pick up something from within the domain.
Syuthhhh
A key appeared right above his palm. Deborah pointed the key toward the mailbox, where there was a keyhole.
Klekkkk
The sound made their headquarters slowly start to appear. Deborah retracts the key, and Rey enters their base with both of them.
Rey smiled, even if chaos had occurred. Returning home to headquarters was the thing he missed the most. All the silliness, affection, and family in here will never be able to forget Rey.
"I'm so happy that Deborah, I can come back here!"Rey told Debora.
"Go back faster should! You've been on a suicide mission there too long."
"You still pissed at me?"
"Of course!"
"It seems I won't be forgiven so easily huh?"
Deborah just kept quiet hearing that. Rey understands how upset this girl is with him, even more so Debora is the girl who loves him so much.
Rey doesn't want to say anymore. Because he understood, Deborah had just recovered. Starting a debate with him might mess up his condition. No, Rey wasn't that nice to him.
"Yeay, we're here!" Rey said take down Debora.
They've arrived right in front of Debora's room. There Rey still smiled at him, Debora just looked at him with a casual look.
"Welcome back, Rey Arlert!" Deborah.
"Thank you, I'll go to bed! You rest, your body needs recovery."
Rey said while gently rubbing the top of Debora's head. It made Debora a little surprised, but still let Rey's palm be right above her head.
"I sleep first, white cat! Good night!" Rey retracted her hand and waved at Debora.
When Rey turned around to walk away from him. Deborah greeted him again.
"Rey.." Deborah Lirih.
"Yes?" Rey stopped and turned her body towards Debora.
"I'm glad you're home!"
Debora told him a few times. It still felt the same, warm every time he said. His heart was like being showered with thousands of flowers.
Rey just nodded with a smile. He went back up the stairs, to his room. Deborah opened the door to her room, to her surprise she saw Riley still awake.
Riley was standing right in front of the door folding her hands together.
"I'm glad you're home? It's so nice of you hahaha..." Ejek Riley to him.
Deborah meets when Riley repeats the sentence she said to Rey.
"Silence Riley!" Debora tried to cover her red hue.
Riley dropped her body right on the bed. His palms raised, his two eyeballs staring right at the ceiling of the room.
"Deborah, why didn't you tell her that you loved her so much?"
That question always bothered Riley's mind indeed. Riley and Justice have been watching Deborah and Rey. They understand that they both love each other.
But they never understood why the owners of these two white manes did not convey their feelings at all.
Deborah who opened the closet fell silent. He looked down, there was something that kept him quiet. The reason was this chaotic world.
"Am I not going to get an answer to my question?" Ask Riley again.
Deborah put on her pajamas, then walked over to the bed. Wait, there's something missing here. Deborah did not see Syena's whereabouts.
"Where's she?" Ask Debora to Riley.
"Syena said she wanted to sleep on the fifth floor. Don't change the subject, tell me why you didn't tell her how you felt?"
Deborah sighed hearing the same question again given to her.
"Indeed, Rey loves me? No no, he never told me." Debora lay down and pulled the blanket.
"He said it!" Riley.
"really?" Ask Deborah to him.
"Yes!"
"the evidence?"
Riley smiled at what Debora wanted. Hasn't there been much evidence to show how much Rey loves him.
"Deborah... You know when you transferred the ability to her. When you passed out unconscious, the Arlert kept you there. He said I'd stay here with the white cat. He refuses to leave you for even a second. Does that not prove enough that he loves you?"
"Just how you feel is Riley! Rey she just thinks of me as a friend."
Riley grumpily heard all the denial from Deborah's mouth. What is with this colleague, when it is clear their feelings are answered each other. But this, why should there be denial in their feelings.
"Stupidly, you're good at strategizing. But for matters of the heart, you're a complete imbecile."
For the first time, Riley spoke harshly for him. Deborah was flabbergasted when she heard Riley's blasphemous sentences.
"Tell me what keeps you quiet and harbors your feelings? The world is this broken Deborah, say while you can not be damned. We can die at any time, so reveal what's in your heart before Rey or you die."
"Ahhh you're talking about I don't understand..."
Deborah grabbed her pillow and covered her face and rolled to the side to Riley who was still curious there.
"Basin' stupid girl! Say it!" Riley tried to answer.
In the end, Deborah was made to give up. Because every word Riley's getting higher intonation. Deborah did not want all her colleagues who were resting peacefully there to wake up.
Deborah turned her body again towards Riley and smiled.
"Well, I'll tell you why!" Deborah.
Riley happily tried to listen to that. He sat down and stared at Deborah. This curiosity that struck his heart must be cleared up now.
"Riley, I wouldn't say that I love her if the world were like this. You know, losing it was so hard for Riley. I don't want to when we spend our sighs with partner status. Then, destiny or something takes one of us. The happiness that is engraved together will be very painful when one of the engravers is lost. So let us be a colleague or friend at this time. If Rey loves me, she'll tell me. If he had been quiet all this time, but the treatment was sweet towards me. Maybe the reason is the same as me."
A long but touching explanation that makes Deborah relieved also annoyed. Really these two colleagues are complicated people.
"You are complicated, but love is simple!" Riley.
"Love is simple, it's just that circumstances sometimes force us to remain silent and hold onto it. I love Rey, just like you love Justice. So keep this between us, don't let people know about this."
"Ah of course!"
"It's early in the morning, but I still haven't rested!"
Deborah pulled back the blanket.
"Uncle Axcel said for a week. The castle we studied in won't be opened."
"Why?" Ask Debora.
"We've been shut down for a week. Without a mission, we better spend those days just resting."
Riley lay down and pulled the blanket. Deborah smiled at that, she also pulled back the blanket and fell asleep.
...Sometimes holding is the only option so that everything looks fine...
