24. Caring for Kathrina

"Deon who's sick." Ask the female pharmacist.

"My sick cousin." Answer Deon.

"It's medicine. In the morning and night after meals." Said the female pharmacist giving Deon the Medicine.

"Good." Deon nodded then walked towards Kathrina.

"Let's go home." Said Deon seeing Kathrina.

"Good brother." Kathrina nodded. Deon and Kathrina were discharged from the hospital.

"Broooms." Deon turned on his scooter. Seeing Kathrina hug him tightly, Deon then rode a motorcycle.

A few minutes later Deon and Kathrina have returned to the apartment. "Have you eaten." Ask Deon.

"Not brother." Kathrina.

"I'll make you porridge." Deon.

"Good brother." Kathrina nodded.

Deon walked into the kitchen and said. "I forgot I didn't have porridge."

"Kathrina I'm going to the supermarket. You wait in the room." Said Deon seeing Kathrina.

"Good brother." Kathrina nodded and went into the room.

Deon came out of the apartment and walked towards the supermarket. Deon went into the supermarket then bought 6 porridge with 3 kinds of flavors. After you finish buying the porridge. Deon went back to his apartment.

Deon went into Kathrina's room and said. "Kathrina you want what porridge tastes."

"I want to porridge the taste of chicken bro." Kathrina was lying on the bed.

"Okay, I'm gonna make you some chicken porridge." Deon nodded then started making porridge.

A few minutes later Deon had finished making the porridge. Deon then entered Kathrina's room with porridge. "Sister, can you bribe me." Kathrina saw Deon.

"I'll bribe you." Deon smile.

"Thank you brother." Kathrina smiled.

"Open your mouth." Deon. "Ohh." Kathrina opened her mouth. Deon then begins to feed Kathrina.

A few minutes later Deon saw that Kathrina had finished her congee. "Let's take the medicine." Deon.

"Good brother." Kathrina nodded then took the medicine.

"Sister, can you be here. Kathrina doesn't want to be alone." Said Kathrina saw Deon.

"Okay, I'll be here." Deon nodded.

"Sleep next to me, brother." Said Kathrina saw Deon. Deon then lay down next to Kathrina.

"When Kathrina was sick. Mama always accompanied Kathrina." Kathrina shed tears.

"Don't cry. I'll replace your mother's duty to take care of you." Deon wiped Kathrina's tears.

"Thank you brother." Kathrina crying.

"Kring." Deon heard his apartment bell ringing. "You wait here." Deon said out of the room.

"Good brother." Kathrina nodded.

Deon opened the door and saw Freya standing in front of the door. "Deon, are you going to hunt today." Ask Freya.

"Today I'm not hunting. I'm looking after my sick cousin." Answer Deon.

"Cousins." Freya's confused. Deon then tells about Kathrina to Freya. "Ohh." Freya is shocked to hear Deon's story.

"I'm so sorry Deon. I didn't know that you went to Yogjakarta to attend your aunt's funeral." Freya.

"Sister." Kathrina came out of the room and walked towards Deon.

"She's my cousin Kathrina." Said Deon looking at Kathrina who was standing next to him.

"Hello Kathrina. I'm Freya. I live in this apartment, too." Freya smiled. Kathrina nodded then leaned on Deon's shoulder. Freya is shocked to see Kathrina leaning on Deon's shoulder.

"Tin." Freya saw her smartphone ringing. Freya opened her smartphone and saw a message from Agnes. "Deon, Agnes is waiting for me. I'm leaving." Said Freya looking at Deon.

"Good." Deon nodded. Freya sees Kathrina then exits the apartment.

"Sister, let's go back to the room." Kathrina grabbed Deon's hand.

"Okay, let's go back to the room." Deon nodded. Deon and Kathrina then entered the room.

"How Freya. Does Deon want to hunt with us." Agnes asked seeing Freya walking towards her.

"No, today Deon doesn't hunt." Answer Freya. Freya recalled Kathrina leaning on Deon's shoulder and muttering. "It seems I have another rival."

"Sister, why did you become a hunter." Kathrina asked, looking at Deon who was lying beside her.

"Because Hunter is a promising job. If I become a high-ranking hunter. I can make tens of millions in just 1 day." Answer Deon.

"Right, Freya is a rank C hunter." Deon nodded.

"What a sister often hunts with that woman named Freya." Ask Kathrina.

"I often hunt with him." Answer Deon.

"Son, can I be a hunter too." Ask Kathrina.

"No, don't you know the government forbids students who are not yet 17 years old from entering the dungeon. So you can't be a hunter." Answer Deon.

"Sleep." Said Deon seeing Kathrina.

"Good brother." Kathrina nodded then closed her eyes.

"If you look around, she's prettier than Clara." Deon muttered looking at Kathrina's white face.

Seeing Kathrina fall asleep. Deon then walked out of the room. "Kruokk." Deon heard his stomach ringing.

"I forgot I haven't eaten at all since morning." Deon then walked into the kitchen.

A few hours later Deon sees Clara and her mother have returned. "Kathrina let's go to the doctor." Said Deon's mother.

"No need, this morning I took Kathrina to the doctor." Deon.

"real aunt. I went to the hospital this morning with Mr. Deon." Kathrina came out of her room.

Deon's mother walked towards Kathrina then touched her forehead. "Have you taken your medicine." Ask Kathrina's mother.

"It's aunt." Kathrina nodded.

"Good, the medicine is taken so that you recover quickly." Said Deon's mother.

"Good aunt." Kathrina nodded.

"Kathrina, do you want to eat. If you want to eat. I'll make you porridge." Said Deon seeing Kathrina.

"Good brother. I want to eat your porridge." Kathrina smiled.

Deon walks into the kitchen and makes Kathrina porridge. "Sister, I made noodles too." Said Clara.

"You're not sick, so make it yourself." Deon. Clara pouted hearing Deon's word. Kathrina laughed at Clara and Deon.

A few minutes later Deon had finished making the porridge. "Son, can you feed me again." Kathrina said with shame.

"I'll bribe you." Deon. Kathrina smiled hearing Deon was going to bribe her.

"Open your mouth." Deon. "Ohh." Kathrina opened her mouth. Deon then feeds Kathrina.

A few minutes later Deon saw that Kathrina had finished her porridge. "Wait before you go to sleep. Drink the medicine." Said Deon seeing Kathrina.

"Good brother." Kathrina nodded.

"Good." Deon rubbed Kathrina's head and entered her room. Deon lay on the bed and closed his eyes.

Next day. "Clara, wake your sister." Said Deon's mother.

"Good ma'am." Clara nodded then knocked on Deon's room door. "Wake up brother."

"I'm awake." Deon said out of his room.

"Deon, I have a job out of town. Maybe I'll be back in 3 days. Take care of your sister and Kathrina when you're not around." Said Deon's mother.

"Mom don't have to worry." Deon.

"Clara, mom's gone." "Kathrina, Auntie's gone." Said Deon's mother.

"Be careful on the way, ma'am." Said Clara. "Be careful on aunt's street." Kathrina.

Deon's mother nodded then walked out of the apartment. Seeing her mother leave Clara then went into the room.

"Sister." Kathrina saw Deon.

"What." Deon saw Kathrina.

Kathrina then kissed Deon's cheek. "Thank you for taking care of Kathrina." Kathrina blushed in embarrassment then walked into her room.

"Basic." Deon smiled looking at Kathrina who kissed her cheek.

Deon opens the Smarphone and sends a message to Gisella and Freya. "1 hour from now let's go hunting."

"Tin." "Tin." Deon saw 2 incoming messages from Gisella and Freya.

"good. Let's go together." Deon read a message from Gisella.

"good. I've been hunting with you for a long time." Deon read Freya's message.
