2. Changing the Storyline

Today is my first day of school in the new school year. I don't feel like I'm entering the eleventh grade. Looks like still yesterday I followed MOS and became a Hunter.

" Nilia.." as I walked down the hallway of the classroom, suddenly a man called out to me. He ran in a hurry from the end of the hall.

" how did you go first!?" reproofing.

" No, no! I was waiting for you on the road but did not come by" I argued by walking to class.

She was my best friend, her name was Widura, when I asked her what her full name was. At first I couldn't believe it but when I saw the report card at that time and the name was really just Widura. We met when we were in 5th grade. Our meeting was quite cliche, he who was kite-playing with his friends then I approached them and said I wanted to join the kite together. All her friends refused because I was a girl. But Widura called me and gave her kite to me. From then on, Widura and I used to play kites together. Almost every day we play kites.

" Widura" we're walking almost to my new class.

Because this is the first day of school, for a full day we have no learning. We just re-register and return the report card. But our return hour remains at 15:00, they say there will be an announcement when we go home later so there is no return in the morning. Widura and I walked up the dike, we headed to the highest place in the building. Roof Top is where we go when we are bored, we usually spend time there eating, or just telling stories about my experience in hunting monsters.

"Widura" I suddenly wanted to ask about something.

"What?" Widura turned from the roof top guardrail to the chair I was sitting on.

" What do you think is the most powerful monster?, and what stone will I get if I can kill that monster? " a pretty weird question for me to ask a monster like Widura. Hunters usually only kill monsters that attack humans and have no groups.

Some say that he died some say that he was still recovering his strength. Wh why? you want to kill him? " Widura said seriously, which made the atmosphere a little awkward.

As we argued for quite a while, we suddenly felt a fairly strong monster aura.

Suddenly the monster split itself into pieces and formed a new monster. The monster has a crocodile head, body like a human but filled with scales of green color, and has a tail with pointed ends.

" What kind of monster is he?" I asked Widura.

" He's a monster made by a powerful monster, usually a monster like this one is controlling, they can't think and just obey the maker" Widura spoke as he prepared to change.

I fought one monster and Widura fought two monsters. I started out empty-handed because I thought this monster was not strong enough. When the monster hit me I caught his hand and I continued with a side kick but the monster was able to fend off my kick. I continued the attack with various combinations of punches and kicks until my legs were caught by the monster, as I tried to shake off the grip on my feet the monster stuck its nails at my feet and threw me into a big tree.

"ugh... Damn it he's strong!" I tried to stand up but my leg was badly injured enough to make it difficult for me to stand.

As I tried to stand up properly without realizing the monster had already dashed towards me to attack. Since I didn't have perfect preparation I could only protect my head and close my eyes. But what I found was that the monster fell right in front of me with an arrow stuck in its head.

When I looked up where the arrow was coming from. I was really surprised because the person who shot the monster was my classmate. He was the one who saw me this morning with Widura. She is Mada, I didn't think she was a hunter either. Then how did he get into my portal? I kept thinking about it over and over again, until I came to my senses due to the movement of the monster.

" Heh, what can't he die?" I pulled out my knife and I stuck it straight into his head and heart.

As I searched for Widura's whereabouts, I saw her fighting together with Mada. I decided to help them, but as I headed towards them, I suddenly saw a male student watching the fight between the monster and Widura and Mada.

When the eyes and eyes of the student were fixed, I realized that he was also a monster. And as I was about to approach, the student gave a cold look and he left the place with his smirk. I followed the student hurriedly and limped because of my injured leg. Why didn't he just disappear? Wasn't this a chance for her because my leg was hurting, did she really aim to lure me after her. When I followed him, he disappeared at the intersection.

" If you just want to run away why not from just now anyway, do I not have to chase! " i said with sewot.

When I turned around to return to Widura's place, it arrived that the student was already in front of me.
