Chapter 5 Part 11 "The Defeat of the Hero "
Returning to a while earlier it remained to some time after Ace ran his plan to Mephisto.
Mephisto who was using one of his abilities had indeed for a while slowed down a bit as predicted by Ace.
But long before that Mephisto had seen a future where Ace would execute his plans.
Mephisto then follows Ace's plot to outwit Ace while thinking of a plan to thwart the plan.
Mephisto then deliberately activated one of his Skill Authority to outwit Ace.
And finally Mephisto's plan was successful thanks to the power of his Authority which is stronger than the current Authority of Ace and Ophis.
So Ace must swallow the bitter defeat.
Back to this moment.
When Ace's consciousness had begun to disappear.
Ace then focused his mind on unlocking his third seal.
Ace's third seal is a very strong seal created by Hendry to suppress Ace's power during Ace's recovery period after fighting the Demon Lord and the recovery period is not over until now this is so that the seal is still attached to Ace.
When Ace intends to unseal the third seal.
Ace suddenly heard Hendry's voice saying "It's not yet time "to instantly make the seal so strong that Ace could not remove the seal.
Ace in his heart said "I beg you this time just allow me to use it " while sadly and hoping to be able to unseal it.
But a reply from Hendry sternly said "Whatever you say my answer is still not for now ".
Ace who had started to lose consciousness again thought to find hope for the situation this time.
Finally, Ace remembered a figure.
Ace then focused his mind on meeting the figure.
But then the void fused together and formed a very large figure with a face facing Ace.
The figure is a figure who has many nicknames and one of his nicknames is The Nothingness which is also known as the other name of the many names he has because his original name itself is p which is not able to be digested or understood by people so that the figure is only often called by his nickname only.
Ace then said "I beg you to lend your strength to me this time "in a pleading tone.
The figure also looks like looking at Ace for a moment and then says " Unfortunately for this time I refused your request "in a firm tone.
Ace who heard this was very sad and said "I beg you to lend me strength this time even if I have to pay with my own life" in a firm tone while pleading.
Nothingness said "I still reject this "firmly reject Ace's request.
Shortly after that, Ace's consciousness returned.
Ace then could only step down while his consciousness had started to disappear.
Finally Ace's consciousness disappeared while staring at the figure of Mephisto who stood straight in front of him.
In the fight, Mephisto also managed to come out as a winner by defeating Griselda, Ophis, and Ace.
