Chapter 9

Time has passed three days since Kelly got the holy bird Garuda. Now the three of them had reached Numa forest. The place inhabited by the holy creature holds many mysteries there. A lot of people can't come back after they get in there. Only lucky and determined people can get out of there. 

"This is Numa's forest?" rico asked as he stared at the vast and very lush forest. The trees growing there were very tall and large, it could not be measured how tall the tree trunks were. Even the roots also appear to the surface of the soil. 

"You have to be careful when you go in there. Don't get separated, because you might get lost and it's hard to come back later" Miron told Rico and Kelly.

"Have you ever been here before?" kelly asked a glance towards the large tall man.

Miron fell silent not directly answering the question. Although he was already good friends with the two of them, but for personal matters could not be opened. Today the faith of the people in Eleanor's land is highly doubtful. 

"I often hear that from travelers" Miron replied.

The three of them entered the Numa forest. The atmosphere there is light is not dark even though the plants are very much, probably because most of the tree trunks are high, so a lot of sunlight comes in.

Many sacred animals in the form of wild animals there, roosters, rabbits, deer, hedgehogs, snakes, wild boars, and a type of animal that is often a forest dweller in the world of Rico. Kelly took one holy animal in the form of a rabbit, it was because she felt sorry to see him who was injured.

"What a pity to you" Kelly said while treating the animal. This girl could use a healing spell and within a few seconds the wound on the rabbit's body instantly healed.

"You better think back to taking the rabbit as a partner. Because it could be that the sacred animal will only suck where yours alone and can not be relied upon in the fight later," said Miron when Kelly was petting the little rabbit.

Hearing Miron's words just alerted Kelly. He confirmed the words of his friend. Then, he cast a spell to cancel the agreement. However, when they left him, the rabbit followed silently.

The more into the forest, the more sacred animals are the more types and often attack them if they feel disturbed. As of this moment, there was an elephant spouting water through its trunk. Of course getting an attack from that gigantic sized saint beast made them difficult. The strength of his legs when struck made the three people fall to the ground, unable to balance his body.

The elephant's attack became increasingly and rendered them powerless. Plus the attack from the bees who feel disturbed when the nest exposed Rico's body that bounced earlier.

"Why are these holy beings so terrible!" rico who was swinging his sword when he got an attack from the animal that had a needle on his butt.

Rico was stunned when the bees that attacked him had now gone out of nowhere. There was only one bee left near Miron.

"Slow attack!" miron told his new holy animal to attack the elephant that was standing raised both front legs and was about to step on the three of them.

The queen bee attacked and turned many into small sizes. The holy creature entered through the ears and trunk. Not long after, the elephant shrieked loudly and fell unconscious. His enormous body hit the ground and made Numa forest shake.

"Look, the animal that is often considered weak is the most reliable in times of precarious situations like just now" said the man who likes insects as his sacred animal.

They continue the journey of searching for the sacred creature that Rico wants. When they got to a lake, there were many holy beings there. The creatures lived side by side quietly. However, upon realizing their presence was near that water source, the saint beasts were enraged. They all directly attacked the three.

"What the fuck are they. Why are you suddenly attacking us?" rico asked while shouting and hiding behind the roots of a large tree.

Kelly also hid not far from Rico. The woman was hit by an enemy attack. He is now treating his own body.

"Maybe they don't like our presence" Kelly replied.

"Do we have to attack them and make a mess first to make them ours?" ask Rico.

"The average saint creature always attacks humans. They do not want to be used as tools. Because if the binding spells are spoken, they can't do anything. Even they have to be willing to fight if asked by their master" Kelly explained.

"Then, why isn't Marcin like that?" ask the young man.
