Chapter 89 - The presence of Hunter Rank S

"Miss Lloyd, I asked again. Are you looking for trouble with my daughter?!" maxim asked once more with a slight raise of his voice when Anna did not answer his question.

"Your daughter is arrogant and has that hateful nature? By the way, he had passed out during the inter-class match. Don't you know?" anna asked with a grin on her lips.

"What?! Who's that..."

"I beat him. He's so insolent." Anna cut off Maxim's sentence.

Maxim immediately raised his hand about to hit Anna, but Rudyard swiftly stopped him.

"Mr Williams, wait! You can't do it!" Rudyard shouted to stop Maxim's actions.

Enraged to find out his daughter has been hurt, Maxim almost forgets that the one in front of him is the daughter of the guild leader.

Holding back his anger, Maxim finally lowered his hand.

"Why are you holding him? You sure he can hit me, Mr Lau?" Anna grunts. "Well, at least the CCTV's been recording his intentions." Said Anna who then smiled cynically. Anna actually wanted to record evidence of their actions, but they have not attacked her since even though she has tried to provoke the anger of Maxim Williams.

Anna spoke with still not looking at Rudyard at all. His eyes were still on Maxim.

"Miss Anna, watch your talk! Your head could be destroyed if it were hit by Mr. Williams!" rudyard Umpat.

Ignoring the warning, Anna reached into the pocket of her uniform as she felt a tremor there. He then opened the message he had just received.

Still not looking at Rudyard, Anna spoke again.

"Mr Lau, the people from the Association will come to arrest you and all these people" Anna reminded. He then looked at the 8 Hunters who were behind Maxim one by one and spoke to them, "If you all don't want to deal with the Association, I suggest you all go while you can. I know you're forced to do this, right?"

Hearing that, the 8 Hunters who were behind Maxim exchanged glances. No matter how terrifying Brandon Lloyd was, they were more afraid of having to deal with the Hunter Association.

Troubling with the Association was tantamount to ending their career as an esteemed professional Hunter.

If the Association already knew of the crimes they committed, then forever they would be an escape and would only be a wasted Hunter who could only conduct an illegal raid to earn a living.

"Mr Williams, please be on your guard. I will take Miss Anna now." asked Rudyard to Maxim Williams who only nodded her head as she continued to stare at the surroundings.

However, before long, the bodies of the two Hunters trembled as they felt the gripping aura of enormous magic energy was moving towards the place.

"Th-this..."

Rudyard Lau and Maxim Williams looked at each other. They knew they were now in danger if the possessor of the enormous magic energy was on the opposite side of them.

"Master Lau, is it possible that the owner of this magic energy is the one who always looks after him?" ask Maxim nervously.

Rudyard Lau shook his head.

"Not. That person is in the A or B rank range." The Sahut Rudyard Lau. Granules of cold sweat began to appear around his forehead and neck.

"He said the Association would come. Don't you think this is Mr Stewart?!" maxim. He who was initially nervous, was now goosebumps. Dealing with Ronald Stewart is tantamount to digging his own grave.
