Chapter 103 - Opening the Evil

For a few seconds all the invited guests and media members who were also invited to the welcoming party fell silent.

All the people inside the hall even held their breaths for a few seconds when they saw the beautiful face of the novice Hunter that had been a byword in City C.

Except for a few people. Who stood behind Anna, who could not see her face directly.

Seeing the amazed gazes of the people below the stage, Cassey walked slowly to Anna's side, to see firsthand what actually made everyone stare in admiration at the girl.

However, when Cassey saw Anna's side profile, he gasped in shock with a few steps back reflex.

The same goes for Reinhard Bern. The young man could not even utter words due to his shock.

Some cameramen who finally realized from his admiration, hurriedly took a photo of Anna.

The sound of camera shots rang out as the cameras did their job of taking pictures of the beautiful girl's face standing quietly on stage.

All the reporters finally regained their senses and showered Anna with all sorts of questions they had saved for them to ask when they finally met the mysterious student.

However, when all the questioning was made to the girl, Anna did not bother them at all. His mouth was locked tightly.

Anna simply gave a smile to the reporters.

Until about 3 minutes passed, Anna just opened her mouth to speak.

Anna looked at Wang Chu Gong who had belatedly recognized her face.

The voice of a man's shout suddenly sounded from below the stage, from behind the media crews standing right in front of the stage.

Brandon Lloyd who was finally able to return to his consciousness, shouted. The middle-aged man then ran towards the stage.

Brandon knew Anna was still alive. However, when he saw the youngest daughter directly, he was also surprised to be silent for a long time.

It was only when he realized how dangerous it would be for Anna to open her mouth before the media crew, especially since there was the chairman of the City C Hunter Association and also the head of the Academy in that place, Brandon finally regained his senses and shouted to cut off what Anna was going to say next.

Brandon Lloyd ran quickly onto the stage, intending to drag Anna away from the venue.

However, just as the middle-aged man stepped his foot on the last rung of the stairs, a tall, strapping figure blocked his path.

Brandon Lloyd flinched for a moment, as he looked at the person who had blocked him. However, it was not the time to be afraid of that man. She was more afraid until Anna opened her mouth. So, Brandon was about to pass by the man's side to go back to Anna.

However, Brandon could not stretch his legs again as the man pulled and clasped his arms tightly.

“Mr Lloyd, if you look like this, I'll feel even more suspicious of you.” Said Wang Zhu Ming, reminding.

Brandon Lloyd gathered his Mana energy in the other hand and quickly attacked Wang Zhu Ming.

With a light movement, Wang Zhu Ming caught the punch with his other hand.

Brandon tried to pull back his hand, but Zhu Ming's grip was too tight.

Unnonsenseful, Brandon Lloyd floated his head, intending to smash his forehead against Wang Zhu Ming's chin.

Wang Zhu Ming dodged it, then quickly thrust his knee into Brandon's stomach.

Buukk!

Brandon who was hit by the attack without being able to dodge immediately bent down.

Wang Zhu Ming kicked the middle-aged man on the back of the knee so hard that Brandon fell down on his knees.

Wang Zhu Ming then folded Brandon's hands behind his body and held him in a kneeling position.

A small commotion did not only occur on one side of the stage.

Wang Chu Gong, who had noticed the danger until Anna opened her mouth, quickly ran over to Anna, when he saw Wang Zhu Ming catching Brandon Lloyd's punch earlier.

However, the man's footsteps also came to a halt as a slender figure stood in his way.

“What do you want to do with running in such a hurry, Mr Wang?”

Ronald Stewart looked at Wang Chu Gong with a sharp gaze.

The chairman of the Association did not know what had actually happened. Gina hasn't told him anything either.

Rudyard Lau and Maxim Williams who were in the custody of the Association also did not tell anything about Cassey's attempted murder and mistreatment.

However, based on his instincts after seeing the suspicious look on Chu Gong's face, Ronald felt that something was wrong that the director of the Asian Soul branch was hiding. He also moves fast.

Cassey Lloyd also realizes the danger of Anna opening her mouth. Therefore, he quickly ran to drag Anna away from it.

However, when Cassey had grasped Anna's wrist and was about to pull her away immediately, she was shocked because the hand was so firm that she could not even make Anna move even if it was just to shake her hand.

Anna jerked the hand that Cassey held. Simultaneously, there was the sound of the joint bones falling out of place.

Cassey felt pain at the base of her new hand grasping Anna's wrist as her joint slipped off. However, his screeching was only heard once and a groan of agony lingered in his throat as his entire body was enveloped by the powerful magic energy that even rendered him unable to move.

Anna ignored Cassey. He pulls the smartphone out of his pants pocket and calls Miyuki for a few seconds.

After finishing making the call and returning the smartphone to her pants pocket, Anna finally returned to talking.

“Because the CCTV footage on that day has been obliterated by Mr. Wang Chu Gong, I will show you all the copies.” Said Anna.

Anna turned to Cassey and smiled bitterly at him.

"Are you unhappy that I'm alive?"

After Anna spoke, the lights in the entire hall suddenly went out for a few seconds.

When the lights come back on, Anna, Cassey and Brandon Lloyd, vanish from the place.
