The Gambling Bet

       Anton drives his car at high speed, he turns on the lights to ask for the road on another vehicle. It was like Anton was flying with Maria to the hospital as soon as possible .

            It.tiiinnn..

             "I beg Mary to hold on." said Anton very worriedly.

           Arriving at the hospital, Anton immediately went down and ran for help from hospital officials.

           Before long the hospital attendants brought a gurney and pushed it towards Anton's car. After laying Maria's body into the gurney, Anton followed her from behind. 

          "Sorry sir, please wait outside our team will deal with the patient immediately." Said one of the hospital doctors. 

         Anxiety enveloped Anton's mind, years never met because of a problem now he had to face with Mary who was dying in the treatment room.

         Anton's love never faded on Maria, their love was not condoned due to differences of belief, Maria chose Baron because at that time Anton's parents hated Maria very much , maria's status is unclear.

         An hour passed, Anton's eyes unceasingly stared at the lights in the ER room.

          "The patient's family.?" Said a doctor who was already standing in the doorway.

           "I doc." Anton walked over to the doctor.

            "Sorry sir, I have to deliver the news that may not be desired, the patient has a collision in the head hard enough so that the patient can not survive." The doctor said it was sad .

          Anton's heart immediately beat fast indiscriminately, collapsed already his defense all this time, did not feel tears trickling down the corner of his eyes.

            "What.?" There's no way doctor, please save him, anything I'll do if I need to go abroad ." Anton said frustratedly.

             "Sorry sir, fate says another patient you." Say that doctor again.

          "Mary..." Lirih Anton's.

         Anton leaned his back against the wall , he closed his eyes took a deep breath , the tightness in his chest felt squeezing the air around him was not enough for Anton to breathe.

           "Sorry sir, has the family been informed ." Said the hospital attendant who was standing not far from Anton. 

          "Not sus, for a moment I will check in his bag there may be a family party that can be contacted." Anton.

          Anton walked toward his car, in Anton's car, Mary's sling bag still lying in the back seat of the car. With trembling hands Anton opens Maria's bag, looking for a cell phone that might be able to contact her family.

               On Maria's phone there were some missed calls from Puspa. 

             "Puspa.?" 

          Anton's hand shifts the call button.After several calls, the call is connected.

            "Hello, where have you been on the phone since I didn't pick up.?" Puspa said across the phone.

           Anton did not immediately say , his lips were weakly unable to say, should he deliver this sad news or he would just shut up.

           "Hello ma'am, what's the silence.?" Puspa

           By gathering all his courage Anton finally ventured to talk.

          "Yes hello." Answer Anton hoarse.

          "Who are you, what's the male voice, where's my mother.?" Puspa panicked.

          "Sorry, your mother is in the hospital, you can not come here I share the location." Anton.

          "What.?" In the hospital, you cheated me huh." Puspa said in disbelief.

         Before the incident a few hours ago Puspa called his mother, that his mother was saying goodbye to visit his old friend. 

           "Why did I deceive you, I know your mother better." Anton said in a loud voice.

           "Well, tell me which hospital.?" Said Puspa trying to trust his interlocutor.

           After ending his call, the puspa hurriedly grabbed his bag, he walked stepping out of his room.

           "Puspa wait, where are you going.?" Ask Bayu who also came out of his room.

            "Yes sir, what's wrong, I'm in a hurry." Puspa turned his head towards Bayu.

           "No, where are you going, I'll take you." Saying Bayu.

          "Sorry sir, I can go to the hospital myself." Answer Puspa panic.

         "Hospital, who's sick.?" 

         "There's a need to call, my mom's in the hospital." 

         "Yes already, I'm taking ya." Sayu forced.

        With Puspa very forced to fulfill Bayu's request, they walked together to the parking lot . 

         Puspa who had been trying to reject the invitation of Bayu, now he must obey because of a situation that forced him. Along the way they just silence, Bayu's eyes are only able to steal a view through the rearview mirror.Bayu who is very much looking forward to the moment waiting for an answer from Puspa , he was forced to undo it because it was seen once the look of Puspa's face in the blanket of panic.

         "At which hospital, huh.,?" Bayu asked breaking the silence.

          "Oh, ee ..this is sir ." Reply Puspa showed his phone screen towards the hospital. 

          According to the instructions given by Anton , they finally arrived at the hospital, Puspa opened the car door in a hurry, he said, followed Bayu who walked behind Puspa they down the hospital hallway.

          Anton who was sitting in the waiting room raised his head, as two people walked over to him.

         "Where is my mother.?" Ask Puspa.

         Anton was silent, his eyes puffy looking towards the room where Mary who was lying was lifeless.

         Puspa's eyes briefly glanced at Anton , with his trembling steps Puspa tried to open the door of the room.

           "Ibuuu.." Shouted Puspa hysterically 

      Mary's body that had been stretched and covered with cloth, Puspa ran towards her mother's body, with tears and shaking Mary's body, the puspa kept calling her mother. 

         "Mom, wake up what happened ma'am, why did you leave Puspa alone ma'am." Rintih Puspa's.

         Bayu who stood behind Puspa was unable to calm Puspa who was being shaken by his soul. He was also sad, Puspa who had not been abandoned by his father Baron, now had to be left by his mother to go forever.

          "Puspa calm down, you're patient." Sedating Bayu.

           Puspa ignored Bayu's words, he continued to cry roaring hugging his mother's corpse.

         Bayu walks out, he pulls out his phone, then presses the call button with Adrian's name on it

         "Hello bro, please tell Alya, Maria's mother is now in the hospital and is dead." Bayu.

         "What.?" Alya.?" Anton Lirih's 

        Anton, who overheard Bayu's conversation, was forced to lock his mouth because the time was not right to ask about the name that Bayu just mentioned.

        After ending his call, Bayu walked up to Anton who was sitting in the waiting room.

          "Sorry Mr. Anton where did you find Maria's mother.?" Ask Bayu.

        Anton raised his head which had been bowed from earlier withstood the sadness. Anton then recounted the incident that happened to Maria, resulting in her death right at the Sudirja residence.

        Bayu looked suspiciously at Anton. The incident that happened to Mary could have been an element of intent. Bayu who was filled with questions in his head, undoes his intention to ask about Alya. He will tell Adrian first about his suspicions.
