The End of Akira
Chapter 7's

The next day...

Akira woke up with a slightly dizzy head. Yesterday he came home late at night from his training. His energy was completely drained away as he spent that one day with dense activities. He even missed his dinner. Even though his Papa and Brother had told him to eat even a little, Akira was so tired that he fell asleep.

"Akira's head is very dizzy" said Akira holding his head with his eyes still closed.

He was silent for a moment and then woke up slowly. He walked slowly to the bathroom to get ready for school.

"Where's the cure?" Akira said looking for a cure in the nightstand right after he came out of the bathroom.

"Ah here it is. This must be because Akira forced himself yesterday" Akira said then took the medicine. "You are strong Akira" he said again encouraging himself.

After he was done with all his affairs, Akira then went downstairs to make breakfast. He is very good at preparing cooking ingredients and processing them.

"Good morning Akira" Papa said.

"Good morning Pa-Akira smiled - Papa just sat down, the breakfast will be ready soon."

"All right, thank you" Papa smiled.

"Good morning Pa, good morning Akira" Yuki said.

"Good morning Brother" replied Akira.

"As usual, Akira was always diligent. Good morning" said Shinji smiling.

"Good morning Brother Shin" said Yuki.

"Good morning" said Naoya.

"Good morning Brother Shin, Brother Nao" Akira smiled.

When she refocused on cooking, Akira blinked her eyes a few times as her vision was blurred.

(Come on, not now. Akira is strong) Akira said in his heart.

Soon Akira finished cooking and arranged it on the dining table.

"Thank you dear" said Papa smiling.

"Sama-sama Pa" replied Akira who was also smiling.

"Thank you Akira, good-bye" Yuki said.

"Sama-sama Brother" said Akira smiling.

"Good meal" Naoya and Shinji said.

As usual, the conversation in the morning to find out the situation with each other, has become a routine in the Souma family. As well as today, there was a conversation that was accompanied by laughter from everyone at the dinner table except Akira. Today Akira is silent and occasionally smiles listening to Papa and his brother tell a story. He looked uninspired and looked down a lot.

"Eating a lot of Akira, Akira is very thin. Big brother is afraid that you will get carried away by the wind later" Shinyu smiled.

"Yes Kak" said Akira flatly.

"(Tumben once this child does not return my words, usually Akira will be angry and always taunt me back)" Shinji's mind was confused.

"about?" Ask Papa.

Akira looked at his father. "Yes Pa, what's wrong?" Ask Akira.

"Is Akira sick? Akira looks uninspired and Akira's face is a little pale" Papa said worriedly.

Hearing her father's words, Naoya and Yuki looked at Akira.

"It's about okay Pa" said Akira smiling.

"really?" Ask Papa again.

"Right Pa, Akira's face was pale because Akira had taken a bath using too cold water" explained Akira. (Sorry Pa, Akira has lied) Akira said again in his heart.

"Is Akira really okay?" Naoya asked worriedly.

"Yes, Akira is fine" Akira said.

Yuki who then touched Akira's forehead with her hand. "The body's not hot, maybe Akira's right Pa."

"Kan Akira has said, Akira is not lying" said Akira pursed his lips.

"Papa and Brother are only worried about Akira, sorry that they don't believe in Akira" Papa said.

Akira nodded. "I'm also sorry" Akira said, looking down.

"Thank God Akira is fine" Naoya smiled.

"If Akira is okay, Akira should be more excited, it will still be morning" Shinji said.

"Does Akira have to jog?" Akira was confused.

"Yes, it doesn't have to jog too" Shinji said confusedly.

"Sister Shin is weird" Akira said again.

Yuki and Naoya try to hold back his laughter seeing Akira who can always make Shinji speechless again.

"Follow it, finish the food" Papa smiled.

"Good Pa."

After finishing breakfast, Papa, Naoya, and Shinji leave Yuki and Akira who are still at home.

"Sister let's go, Akira doesn't want to be late" Akira asked.

"It's really okay, right?" Ask Yuki. Actually he was still worried about Akira from earlier.

"True Kak, Akira is fine" said Akira convinced.

"Well if Akira says it like that, but don't push yourself. Let's go" Yuki said smiling.

"I guess understand Brother, come on" Akira replied smiling.

At school...

"Akira, whose spirit of learning yes, later in the afternoon Brother picked up. Remember Akira, don't push yourself, Akira understands what you mean, right?" Ask Yuki.

"I guess understand Brother" Akira replied smilingly.

"Yosh, the smart kid-Yuki ruffled Akira-Sister's hair home huh" Yuki said.

Akira pulled his head back from Yuki's hand. "Silver habit, always ruffling Akira's hair" said Akira tidying his hair with lips pressed forward.

Yuki smiled. "The end of this beautiful Brother Sister is so adorable. All right, brother's coming home" he said.

"Yes, thank you. Be careful on the road" said Akira smiling.

Yuki nodded. "Bye-bye Akira's. Spirit."

Akira smiles. "Bye-bye Brother" said Akira waving his hand.

After Yuki leaves, Akira enters the school slowly. His head is really dizzy now. He walked quite slowly with his head lowered.

Arriving at class, Akira immediately sat down and bowed his head with his arms folded as a pedestal.

(Why is Akira's head getting dizzy? Didn't Akira take the medicine?) Akira closed his eyes.

"Good morning Akira-why Ayano smiled-you why?" He looked at Akira who was looking down.

"Good morning Ayano" Akira smiled.

"Your face is pale, are you sick?" Ask Ayano again.

Akira smiles. "Just a little dizzy, but I'm fine."

"Have you taken any medicine?" Ask again.

Akira nodded. "It."

"Alright, if anything happens just tell me yes" said Ayano worried.

Akira nodded. "Thank you" Akira smiled and bowed his head again.

During the lesson, Akira always bowed his head and occasionally looked at the teacher who was explaining in front of the class. He also does not write anything in his notebook even though Akira is a student who is quite diligent in writing explanations from teachers.

"Are you okay?" Ayano's question stroked Akira's back and Akira only nodded in response.

"Do you want me to take you to the UKS?" Ask Ayano again.

Akira shakes. "No, I'm fine" Akira replied still with his head lowered.

"Are you sure?" Ask Ayano again.

"I'm sure" said Akira still with the same position.

Ayano had actually been worried about Akira since this morning. It's just that if Akira says that he's fine, it means that he's really fine because Akira knows more about his own body condition than anyone else, so Ayano could not force Akira to obey her words.

"Alright" said Ayano who was still stroking Akira's back.

The other...

(What's wrong with him? Is he sick?) Said Sou inwardly watching Akira.

At rest...

"I think I'll go to the toilet first, just for a while" Ayano said.

Akira nodded. "Yes, go."

After Ayano left, Sou then approached Akira.

"Are you okay?" Ask Sou.

"I'm fine" said Akira still lowered his head.

"Borrow your hand" said Sou extending his hand.

"For what?" Akira asked looking at Sou confused.

Sou then smiled. "Give me your hand, just for a minute."

Akira then extended his hand and Sou then grasped it.

"(It's hot) You're not okay. Wait a minute, I'll take the medicine" Sou put Akira's hand down carefully. He then walked out of the class.

"No need Sou, I can take it myself" said Akira slightly shouting because Sou walked very fast and ignored Akira, he continued walking towards the UKS.

A few moments later...

"About" call Sou.

Akira then raised his head.

"Drink" he said giving Sou medicine and a bottle.

"Thank you very much Sou, sorry I got to bother you. I brought my own drink" said Akira then took the medicine.

"Isn't it better that you take a break in the UKS or just take a ride home? Your body is hot Akira" Tanya Sou sat on the bench that was in front of Akira.

"No, I'll miss the lesson" Akira said.

"(Are his parents pretty hard like my parents?) You can copy notes from me later. Now come to the UKS, you have to rest" Sou said again.

Akira shakes. "No Sou, after all I've been better off with medication, thank you" Akira smiled.

Sou sighed. He could not force any further than this, Sou felt he had no right to it.

"Alright, if you need something you can count on me" Sou smiled.

"Thank you Sou" said Akira who also smiled.

"Are you okay?" Ayano just arrived.

"I'm fine, Ayano" Akira smiled.

"You sure? Let me get you some medicine" Ayano said, stepping away.

"You lost quickly Ayano" said Sou.

"(It turns out that Sou cares about ya) It seems so - Ayano looked at Sou - Thank God if so" said Ayano smiling and sitting on her stool.

Shortly after, the bell came back ringing.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Ask Sou.

"I'm fine, don't worry too much about me Sou. Thank you" Akira smiled.

"All right, I believe you. You can count on me Akira-Sou smilingly looked at Akira-Alright, I'll go back to my seat" said Sou.

Akira and Ayano then nodded in understanding. Then they go back to learning. Akira's head was not too dizzy after taking the medicine earlier. He was able to follow the teacher's explanation even slowly.

As Akira tried to focus forward, he accidentally caught Sou looking at him. 

(What is Sou looking at?) Akira said inwardly, he then smiled at Sou.

(Geez, he smiled at me-Sou was a little surprised-It seems I'm too worried?) Inner Sou. He then returned Akira's smile and looked back to the front where the teacher was explaining the lesson.

After school...

"Ayeah, are we going to my house? We no longer have time to do the task yesterday" Akira said.

"Come on, that's right Akira. You are sick and now you are thinking about work. You just rest, let us both do the job" said Sou.

"real Akira. You just rest at home, let us do the job" said Ayano.

"No, I also want to do my job, I don't want to get blind grades" Akira said.

"It's not blind, you're sick so it doesn't matter" Sou said.

"No, I have to do the job too" said Akira.

Sou and Ayano then exchanged glances. Then they laughed.

Akira was silent for a moment. (Geez, it looks like Akira is released again, Ayano and Sou will definitely mock Akira) Akira said in his heart.

"That's right, you are so adorable Akira" Sou smiled.

"Don't make fun of me" said Akira lowered his head in a small voice.

"You're really very adorable when you're upset and when you sulk like this" Sou said.

"I agree" Ayano smiled as well.

"So, I can do it, right?" Ask Akira again.

"Are you really okay?" Ask Sou again.

"If Akira can come back upset and adorable it means Akira is fine" Ayano smiled.

"Ayano's right, I'm fine. Besides, if I pass out later it doesn't matter because I'm in my own house" explained Akira.

"Don't push yourself too much Akira" Sou said.

(When he was very weak, but now he is excited like this) Sou said inwardly looking at Akira.

"Alright come on then, Brother must have been waiting below" Akira said.

"But you're really okay, right?" Tanya Ayano made sure.

"I'm fine" Akira smiled.

"Alright then, slow down the road yes" said Sou.

The three of them then walked out of the classroom to Akira's house.

Arriving at the school gate...

"Akira.." call Yuki while waving her hand.

"So, have you been waiting a long time?" Akira asked as he was in front of Yuki

"No, Brother just arrived" Yuki smiled.

"We meet again Sou-Yuki smiled - This is Akira's friend who will be working group too huh?" Ask Yuki to Ayano.

"(His brother Akira is really handsome) Right Brother, good afternoon I am Ayano" said Ayano looking at Yuki.

"Good afternoon too, greetings yes. Let's go" Yuki said smiling.

Along the way, Akira went back to silence and lowered his head. His head started to feel dizzy again. She remained silent as Yuki and her two friends laughed about the funny thing.

In-house...

"About home" said Akira entering the house. "Come in" Akira told Sou and Ayano.

"Excuse me" said Ayano.

"Excuse me, sorry to interrupt" Sou said.

"Watch your own house" said Yuki with a smile that was met with a smile by Sou and Ayano.

"Wahh, there are so many medals and trophies" said Ayano amazed to see a glass cabinet filled with charters, medals, and trophies.

"Whose awards are these?" Ask Sou.

"It belongs to Akira, he really worked hard to get all this. He always practices even into the night and this is the result" Yuki smiled.

"Ah right, Akira once said that he had to practice badminton" Sou smiled.

Sou and Ayano then look around at Akira's medals and trophies. While looking at the medal, Ayano then remembered something.

"Ah right! It is fitting that I feel that I have heard the name Souma Akira, it is you Akira? Who became the first champion of the junior international championship tournament four times in a row?" Ask Ayano.

"Eh really? Geez, I don't know how good you are Akira. You mean you're an athlete?" Said Sou in disbelief.

"Follow, he is a member of the national badminton team" Yuki said proudly.

Sou looked very surprised as well as Ayano. Even though he knows Akira is an international champion, he is still surprised to hear Yuki's statement.

"Geez, I didn't expect to have a really great friend like you" Sou said still surprised.

"Truely Sou, I also did not expect to be friends with an athlete" said Ayano.

"I'm not that good as Ayano but thank you. Sit down first, I'll prepare a drink" Akira smiled.

(I don't know if Akira is someone who is very great, besides being beautiful and good he is also very talented) Sou said in his heart staring at Akira.

Akira then goes to the kitchen followed by Yuki.

"Have you eaten?" Akira asked as Yuki was already sitting at the dining table. 

Akira smiled as he got the headband from Yuki.

"Wait a minute, let Akira cook first" Akira smiled.

"You guys with Akira ya-Yuki's friends smiled - I'll call the others first huh" Yuki said then went to the living room.

"Yes, please, brother. Thank you" Akira smiled.

Shortly after, Yuki returned to the kitchen.

"They don't want to eat Akira" Yuki said.

"Why? Why don't they eat, brother? Let Akira invite" said Akira then walked to the living room.

"Friends, let's eat first. You haven't eaten yet" asked Akira.

"No Akira, no need. We're here to do chores, not to eat" Ayano said.

"Ayano is right, there's no need for Akira. We will eat at home later" Sou smiled.

"Are you sure?" Ask Akira to make sure.

"Yakin" said Ayano and Sou.

"All right, just wait a minute. I'll be right back" Akira smiled. He then returned to the kitchen after getting a nod from his two friends.

"This is Brother" said Akira giving a plate of rice.

"Thank you" Yuki smiled.

"Together."

Akira then makes juice for his friends. But when it will take the fruit, the fruit fell so that Akira had to duck to take it. Yuki felt worried when Akira did not stand up as well.

"about?" Yuki said standing up will approach Akira. But as she was about to step up, Akira stood up.

"What's up, brother?" Ask Akira.

Yuki looked at Akira for a moment. "No, no" Yuki said.

Akira then continued his activities. His eyes caught Yuki who kept paying attention to him.

"What's up, brother? Don't look on, Akira will be embarrassed" said Akira.

Yuki smiled. "About being overconfident, Big Brother didn't see Akira" Yuki said evasively.

Akira just stared annoyedly at Yuki. "So don't want juice?" Ask Akira.

"No need, this is not over yet" Yuki smiled.

"Alright, Akira went ahead first yes" said Akira brought 2 glasses of juice and some snacks. Then they started doing their job.

In the middle of doing the job...

"I'll go to the toilet for a while" said Akira, who was then adopted by Sou and Ayano.

(Head Akira is dizzy again. Please hold on until we are done with the task) Akira said in his heart as he walked slowly.

"About" call Yuki.

"What's up, brother?" Ask Akira.

Yuki didn't answer Akira's question, she just held Akira's shoulder and stared into his eyes long enough.

"Sister?" Akira asked confusedly.

"Let Brother help with the task" said Yuki who then walked towards Sou and Ayano.

"What's wrong with Brother?" Akira was confused. He then continued his goal of going to the toilet.

The other...

"Let me help ya" Yuki smiled.

"No need Brother, we are almost done" Sou said.

"No need to hesitate, let me help you" Yuki smiled.

"Alright, please help Brother" Sou said again.

They then do their job assisted by Sou. Shortly after, Akira returned and joined.

"I think it's back, let Akira do Kak" said Akira.

Yuki. "No need, Brother is also almost done. Akira did the other part" Yuki smiled.

"Alright, thank you, brother" said Akira.

Then they went back to doing their job. They were so helped by Yuki that it didn't take long to do the task. Akira is also very grateful because with the help of Yuki, his work becomes faster.
