The Civilian: Resurgence

The Civilian: Resurgence
Chapter 35

It's not clear what happened after that. To be sure, Lahar managed to bring his two friends out guarded by Wikar from behind. They all came out of the room with each of them already carrying weapons. They protect each other. The scariest thing for them is, when the alarm goes off.

They tried hard to stay afloat with the thousands of bullets that tried to penetrate and tear their bodies. They can't shoot well. All they could do was to hang on as long as possible in that place, until luck was present between them.

They were attacked from all directions. Their position makes it very difficult for them to move. Especially with the number of bullets that are starting to thin. They won't know when all Major General Maric's troops will be depleted. In the end, Wikar ordered Ambar to put Lahar in the room where Ambar and Loah were held, to treat Lahar first.

Loah and Wikar will try to impede Major General Maric's growing army. Wikar again threw his shock grenade, and it was quite helpful even though it didn't get everything done. And unexpectedly, while Ambar was looking for a cure to treat Lahar, he noticed that there was a secret door in the room.

At that time Ambar only realized, if this is a room for ordinary executors to gather and rest. Inside the room there were also a lot of weapons and bullets they could use. The secret passage was used by the executors when they wanted to ambush the captives who were trying to escape from this place. And that road leads to another room, the main office of Major General Maric.

"You follow Ambar and Lahar, I will arrest them as much as I can." Wikar ordered Loah.

"I'm not leaving you!" answer Loah.

"If we die, our friends die" Wikar said.

Loah finally obeyed Wikar's orders. He rushed to pick up some ammunition and grenades, then followed Lahar and Ambar who had entered first.

Not wanting his friends to die, Wikar, with his strong determination, must face an opponent who is completely out of balance with him. Although a little overwhelmed, but the Wikar plan goes very well. After he entered the room, Wikar activated his time bomb, which was installed in a large oil canister.

Shortly thereafter, a massive explosion destroyed much of the base. Fire licks everywhere. Everyone was running around here and there to save themselves. As a result of the explosion, Wikar was unconscious. The effect of the explosion was so terrible. Wikar was one of the people who got the most effect from the explosion.

This makes both eyes Wikar not working properly. As much as Wikar's energy rose, while enduring the pain in both his eyeballs. Unexpectedly, if there were so many dozens of corpses scattered in that place. There are some of them still alive. Wikar took the opportunity by shooting them all one by one.

After a bit of calm, Wikar also followed his three friends.

"*Why did all this happen?! this is so embarrassing*!" said **Major****General****Maric** with an angry tone.

He did not expect at all that the little thing that was done by**Lahar** and his friends was able to make some of his troops die. Now there are only a few people left from the many troops. It was also an ordinary member who did not yet possess the ability in this kind of battle. Moreover, this attack was like a stroke of luck, not something planned.

"*Sorry General. The Don were also found dead. We also did not find Lahar and his three troops. They must have managed to escape. All the surveillance cameras were damaged. We can't know exactly where they are*" said one of them.

"*We can kill them all, by blowing up this whole place. They will not all be safe*." said**Mayor***General*****Maric** while away in his room, escorted by his remaining troops.

"*My room was made to withstand nuclear detonation. And the detonation of the bomb I made would have absolutely no effect on the room*" he continued.

But in these situations, **Major***General*******Maric***does not read the situation well at all. He did not know that the room had been hacked by**Ambar** and**Loah** when they got there. So, **Major****General****Maric** is now no longer able to open the room, even using a backup password.

"*Only the General knows the password. Because none of us have ever entered this room*." replied one of them.

At that time **Major****General****Maric** was just realized, that he and his troops had been framed. All this time he never paid attention to **Lahar** and his team well. So he doesn't know that they are geniuses. He drowned when he realized everything he had done. He was crying sobbing. He had already imagined what would happen to him if**Lahar**enabled his homemade bomb.

The explosion was far more terrifying than the bomb that was installed*Wikar* a few minutes ago. Everyone who was hit by the explosion would not die immediately. Because the bomb is a biological weapon that is even able to kill thousands of people if the bomb gets out of the area of this headquarters. Most of the buildings in this place have been destroyed.

**Major****General****Maric**call the name**Lahar***by requesting that he not touch the trigger button. But **Lahar** doesn't care about any of that. He was already impatient to watch the old rat die floundering before him.

"*Back! Waitaminute! Please don't touch that button*." **Wikar** arrived and prevented **Lahar** from touching the trigger button.

"*What are you doing?! Do you want that old rat*?!"

"*No! That's not what I mean! But if you activate the button, then all the population in this place will die. That's a biological weapon Lahar*!" obviously **Wikar** on *Lahar**.

**Ambar*** and **Loah** also try to prevent **Lahar**, but **Lahar*** still insist to activate the button.

"*Hear Commander! We can still kill the old man in another way*!" said **Loah** attempted to prevent it.

"*I don't care what happens to everyone! I'm sick of all this war anyway! I want to die! And I also want you to come with me*!" said **Lahar** with his nasty smile.

"No!" Wikar shouted as Lahar touched the button.

The atmosphere was instantly silent, and a few seconds later there was a great tremor in that place. That's when hope is gone. **Wikar**, **Ambar** and **Loah**can only stay lethargic at that place. He did not think that**Lahar**had this evil thought. For his own satisfaction, he could kill hundreds of lives.
