10. Quarrelling

Qian Yueyue opened her 'do not disturb' mode and received countless calls and messages that Zhou Meng had left on her. Who cares about that ? Shouldn't Zhou Meng be with her lover ?

Qian Yueyue only read her message lazily and did not give a reply message to Zhou Meng. Qian Yueyue sighed and looked at the request for a message from Xu Yang then received it.

"Yueyue, you finally picked up my phone ! Do you know how much I called you today ?!" Zhou Meng asked furiously.

"No need to get angry, just come to my house. " Answer Qian Yueyue replied flatly.

"All right, I'll be at your place in 15 minutes. " Reply Zhou Meng.

"Aren't you home ?" Qian Yueyue asked.

"Yes, I just got back. Wait for me there, I'll arrive as soon as possible. " Answer Zhou Meng.

Qian Yueyue disconnected that phone line and felt lost in the mood to continue her bath so she just took a simple shower before finally walking out.

He changed his clothes and walked down to the living room to greet Zhou Meng. He was curious as to what Zhou Meng would say.

Not long after, Zhou Meng came and the ministry opened the door for him. Qian Yueyue sat there indifferently.

"Why do you know Xu Yang ?" Zhou Meng asked furiously.

"Sit down first, you come and get angry. " Answer Qian Yueyue.

Qian Yueyue raised her gaze and met Zhou Mengs angry gaze.

"Why if I knew Xu Yang ? He's a nice guy, you even play with your lover on weekends. Shouldn't I be looking for a friend too ?" Qian Yueyue asked.

"Don't tell me he's a good guy ! Do you know how often he is called ?! Do you know how disobedient he is ?!" Shouted Zhou Meng.

Qian Yueyue did not reply and looked at Zhou Meng with a cold gaze. On what basis did Zhou Meng want to set it up ?

"What does that have to do with me ? He's a good person, I'm sure others will answer the same thing as me. He's my new friend. " Reply Qian Yueyue tried to remain calm.

"Qian Yueyue ! Why don't you ever even want to listen to me ?! Has our friendship of thirteen years been really in vain in your eyes ?!" Shouted Zhou Meng.

Qian Yueyue could no longer bear the anger that filled her heart these days. He got up and hit the table strongly.

"Zhou Meng ! Don't say that this was in vain in my eyes, didn't you start it all first ?! You dated someone without even saying anything to me, now you want to ban me ?! Actually who underestimated this thirteen-year friendship, me or you ?! " Shouted Qian Yueyue.

Zhou Meng looked at him with a look of disbelief as if he did not believe that he would say that.

"Is dating someone wrong ?" Ask Zhou Meng.

"It's not wrong, then what's wrong if I have a new friend ? On what basis are you scolding me here ?" Qian Yueyue asked this back.

Zhou Meng clenched his hands tightly in annoyance at Qian Yueyue's attitude.

"Okay, since it's your choice then I won't say anything more. Since you want our friendship to end like this then I won't force it. It's just that I never imagined that your mind was so narrow. " Said Zhou Meng.

"My mind is narrow ? You should ask yourself this ?! All this time, who has always tried to maintain this friendship ? It's always me !" Shouted Qian Yueyue.

"You're talking about our friendship now ? Qian Yueyue, you changed too much. " Reply Zhou Meng with a look of disbelief.

"I changed too much ? Alright, I did change too much but Zhou Meng, in the end I can't recognize you at this moment anymore. You no longer resemble my best friend, I think that thirteen years of friendship have been in vain. " Said Qian Yueyue disappointedly.

Zhou Meng turned around and left the Qian Yueyue residence while Qian Yueyue sat on the sofa of her home quietly without a sound.
