She's my Ex-husband

She's my Ex-husband
DMS 2'S

Elgar went into the room to retrieve the phone left behind. Actually, he's reluctant to be in the room if there's Salsa. But because his phone was left behind, he was forced to go in to retrieve it. He saw his wife packing clothes into a suitcase.

"I'm going out of the country for a few days." Salsa without looking at Elgar. His hands and eyes were still busy packing his clothes and other personal items into the suitcase.

"Yes." Yeah." Answer Elgar coldly while grabbing the phone that was on the nightstand. For him it is not new anymore Salsa went out of the country for a few days.

Apparently that short answer infuriated Salsa. Actually not because of that, it was common for Elgar to answer like that. It's just that maybe because the mood is again bad because of the mention of children, he became urinated.

"Why don't you want me to go on what business and with whom?"

"To meet that guy right?" Elgar with a bitter smile. "I'm not a fool. So I don't have to ask you something I already know the answer to." The answer is so striking that it makes Salsa ride apitam. He threw the clothes he was holding and approached Elgar with fiery eyes.

"It's good that you know."

Elgar did not know. He knew the problem would get longer if it continued. Silence and evasion were the paths he always took. So he decided to leave Salsa.

"Wait!" Salsa cried for a moment before she opened the door.

"You know why I'm going crazy like this? It's all because of you El, because of you." Salsa shouted while pointing at Elgar. His breath goes up and down because of emotion.

Elgar turned around and looked at Salsa.

"Stop blaming me Sa. Why is it that when you cheat, I'm wrong." Elgar clenched his hand. Dead, he tried not to scream.

Salsa's affair was long known. Even Elgar knew his name, address and everything about the man. But his long-dead heart, as if it didn't care about any of that.

"Because you're the reason I cheated on El. Because you never gave me the slightest love and attention." Press Salsa while pointing at Elgar's face.

"Yes, I was wrong. But have you ever tried to make me fall for you like I used to. When my love starts to fade, you should try to get her to spring back, not run away from another man's arms."

Salsa smiled bitterly at it. Never trying to make love come back? Already, he had done that but always failed and failed, until a man came and offered his shoulder as a backrest. Always wiping her tears and making her laugh, until a relationship without status is created.

"Do you want to go back to the pregnancy program?" Ask Salsa. He was still curious about what Elgar said at the dinner table. They did it once, but failed.

"Two tormented people are more than enough Sa. There is no need to add to the list of people who will suffer in this household. Why do we have a child if we can't guarantee he'll be happy later. Our relationship is not healthy Sa."

That's what Elgar said. Why have a child if the child is not happy. Since the beginning of marriage, Salsa has never been pregnant. The doctor said it was all because of his unhealthy lifestyle. Salsa has been an alcoholic and a cigarette addict since studying abroad. Once he followed therapy so that the alcoholism he suffered could be cured, in fact the circumstances forced him to continue to consume it again and again. A bland, loveless marriage makes her fall on alcohol.

Elgar leaves Salsa for his study. The place where for the last 7 years has been the place he likes the most when at home.

I'm sorry Sa, I tried to love you, but I always failed. And you, who chose to run into another man's arms, gave me despair.

Saga entered her mother's room with a sullen face. The little boy who was still in his pajamas was sitting on the edge of the bed staring at his mother who was packing. Seeing Saga's face, Mila knew that her son was sulking. Saga then sat next to him.

"Mommy's son why?"

"Don't mom come home tonight?"

So that's the problem. He hugged Saga and let out his old forehead.

This is indeed the first time Saga left his mother to stay overnight.

"If only Saga had papa, mama wouldn't have to work like this."

Mila's heart ached at the moment to hear him. His eyes were glassy but as much as possible he was tear-resistant so as not to drip. For him, he would not cry in front of Saga. He was determined to live happily for Saga. He didn't want his son to see him sad.

"Well, what saga is wrong, why don't you want nengokin Saga? Call me, papa don't want to?"

The heart of the mother who did not crumble heard such complaints from the lips of her baby.Takap able again Mila held back tears. He hugged Saga's son tightly so that he could not see his tears.

"Saga is not wrong. It's just that papa lives far away and there's no signal, so can't call Saga. Papa actually loves Saga."

Saga instantly let go of her mother's embrace. The boy's eyes immediately shone with hatred. "If papa is dear, papa can't possibly leave us far away. Papa must be here with us. Papa is evil, Saga hates papa."

Mila shook her head quickly as she cupped the two cheeks of Saga. "Papa is not evil. Papa Saga is a good man. Papa left because there was a reason. Later if Saga is big, Saga will understand why we can not be together with the same papa."

"Mama cry?" Saga could see her mother's wet cheeks.

"No. Mama just yawned to tears." Lied Mila while smiling.

"Mama is sad because she remembers papa? Sorry Saga yes ma. Saga promises never to ask me again about papa."

"Udah yuk bath, later Saga late to school." Mila switched topics. Since long ago the discussion about papa always made Mila's heart sliced iris. Since Saga was in the womb, she had already separated from her husband. There was no contact at all until now. In fact, most likely, her ex-husband doesn't know if there's a Saga between them. Because her ex-husband didn't know that she was pregnant when he first stepped on her.

Mila helps Saga get ready and takes her for breakfast.

"Today Saga wants to bring a sandwich?" Ask Mila while putting a glass of white milk that she just made in front of Saga.

"Can you bring two?" Pinta the boy.

"Of course." Mila immediately prepared two sandwiches filled with Saga's favorite strawberry jam. While Saga, he ate fried rice made by his grandmother who had been served at the table.

"You're going to Bandung Mil?" Ask Ms. Rahmi who just came out of the room. The middle-aged woman was ready to take Saga to school with an online ojek because Mr. Hadi was still sick. While Mila did not have time because she had to go to the office immediately.

"Yes, Mom." Mila answered while looking at her mother at a glance and then continued to apply strawberry jam.

"Can't if someone else leaves. Mom's feeling bad."

Mila put the ready sandwich into the lunch box and approached her mother.

"Don't worry too much Mom. Mila's gonna be fine."

Bu Rahmi sighed then patted Mila's arm slowly. "I hope this is just a worry, not a hunch of what."

"Let's take good care of yourself, ma'am." Entertain Mila while hugging her mother's waist.

"Mother will always pray that your work will be smooth and you will always be in His protection."

"Aamiin.."
