Eps. 36 Duel against Samuel

Inspector Lucca immediately got up to his feet upon seeing the arrival of Samuel who was moving quickly towards him.

“I remember, this man who always bullied me wherever I was. It must have been on Theodore Neve's orders, the old man.” Inspector Lucca sets the clock of the man now standing in front of him with a grinning smile amidst the dust that was still fighting the former explosion just now.

“A despicable and lowly man like you does not deserve a woman from our nation.” Samuel sneers deliberately to provoke his opponent to ignite emotions.

But not Inspector Lucca his name if easily ignited like that. With his experience of capturing many high-class criminals makes him skilled in dealing with various types of enemy characters.

“I know, you just actually want to get Livia from me instead of ?” reply Inspector Lucc.

That man looked calmly staring at his opponent even he was now swinging his sword.

“You can't wait apparently.” Samuel grinned again because the man was putting his own life on him. “Strike me first.”

Samuel looks very dismissive of Inspector Lucca, if he views him as weak and easy to lose. He therefore gave the man a chance to fight him before he took his life.

“Samuel your opponent is definitely not a draw. I am your opponent.” Livia appeared in the middle of the two of them.

He didn't want Lucca to get as hurt as she used to be.

“Livia move aside.” The inspector told him to leave. “I'll face him.” looks towards Livia demanding trust from her.

“But Lucca.” Livia seemed to not accept and worried about her man.

“Livia is a business among men. You don't interfere.” Samuel stared at Livia.

“Go ahead Livia. I'm sure I can beat him this time.” Inspector Lucca said calmly but looked serious.

Because of the pressure of the two men, Livia was forced to pull over and let the two of them duel.

“But I will still intervene later if Lucca is in danger.” his murmur then settles forward as the two men begin to duel.

“Who is afraid !”

Inspector Lucca swung Phormosa's sword.

“Holding the sword alone you can't. How can you beat me later?” decak Samuel again insinuated that the Inspector was not strong enough to hold a sword.

“We will not know and cannot be decided before trying it.” The inspector remains calm, keeping his mind stable.

Clang

Moments later there was the sound of a sword fight.although the Inspector was less adept at playing the sword but for the sake of Livia he would swing the sword continuously until the end and one of them won.

“That victory should be mine.” The inspector encouraged himself and then immediately swung his sword against Samuel.

“Ha, is it just that much you are capable of ? Really not felt at all.” Samuel laughed at the attack of the lame Inspector even when compared to one of his men was still better than him.

“I do not know why this sword although small but very heavy unlike the usual sword.” the man did admit that it was difficult to control the sword. “This sword definitely has a secret.”

Just as Samuel was attacking with the power of a shadow that slashed the sword quickly, Inspector Lucca's hand suddenly moved itself uncontrollably against Samuel's sword.

Whooshs.

Even the sword of Phormosa could throw Samuel bouncing as far as five meters.

“What really happened ? Some time ago the man could not play the sword but now he made me like this.” muttered then immediately stood up and stuck the sword on the ground for a moment to support his body.

“Lucca how can you get the power in an instant ?” Livia was no less surprised how Inspector Lucca, who could not play the sword, suddenly became skilled in a short time after being almost driven by Samuel's attack.
