Secretary Charm

Secretary Charm
Chapter.12 Laura

"Chilla?" A shocked and embarrassed look was clearly on Alle's face. He glanced back at his boss while grinning, afraid that there would be misunderstandings.

The little boy who did not know the meaning of the surprise of his mother simply replied lightly, "Chilla just wants papa for Cherry." The boy took the Barbie doll beside him and showed it to Alle as well as Aksa.

As soon as he saw Cherry, Alle felt calm. It turns out that everything is not what he thought. Her fear of the papa figure that Chilla would inevitably ask has not been proven. All this time, Chilla had only asked where her papa was. Why Chilla never saw him. Why doesn't his dad live in a house like his friend's dad. Still around that and Alle can still explain limited understanding of children the age of Chilla.

Despite lying to her son, Alle never hid what her ex-husband's face looked like. Portraits of Fadil and Chilla together as a baby are still stored as memories for his daughter. Chilla deserves to know about Fadil.

"Chilla want to buy another doll?" ask Alle. "Later on, if Chilla's cured, we'll buy another doll."

Chilla could only nod obediently.

"I'm sorry, sir," said Alle. "Oh, yes, what do you want to drink, let me buy you."

"No need," refused Aksa. "I'm going home."

Aksa looked at Chilla who was also paying attention to her. "Om go home first, yeah. I'm sorry, Om didn't bring anything for you, but the next time we can see each other again, you can ask Om for anything."

Chilla's eyes sparkled hearing what Aksa said. "Really, Om?"

Aksa nodded. The man then stood up and rubbed Chilla's head. "Cepet healed, yes, Om take you for a walk."

This time it was not only Chilla's eyes that sparkled, her smile was also flashing. "Thank you, Om."

Aksa says goodbye to Alle before leaving Chilla's treatment room. Alle had wanted to take Aksa to the parking lot but the man refused her on the grounds that keeping Chilla was more important.

From the hospital Aksa decided to go home to his parents. Her mother has been calling her son since morning to come home tonight.

Arriving at her parents' house, Aksa is greeted by her happy-looking mother. "Aksa, Mama thinks you're going home tonight, but Mama is happy you're home." She hugged her son.

"Papa, where?"

"Obviously, playing badminton with Mr. Surya." Raut Sekar turned upset at once considering the departure of her husband earlier. Though it was forbidden because there will be guests, but her husband was desperate to leave without his permission. "Let's sit down, let Mbok yem get you a drink."

"Ma ... That rendang is ripe, ma_____" Laura who appeared from the kitchen was shocked when she saw that there was Aksa in the living room. He even went silent.

Just like Laura, Aksa was also just as shocked to hear the voice of the woman she was about to be betrothed to suddenly appear from her mother's kitchen. And, did he say just now, the rendang is ripe?

"What does this mean, Ma?" Aksa stared at Sekar.

"Later the story," elak Sekar. "Laura, you make drinks first for Aksa, yes."

Laura who was still standing near the kitchen nodded in agreement.

Now Aksa is upset. His mother must have arranged everything. Being indifferent, Aksa immediately left her mother and went upstairs to the room.

"Aksa, where are you going?"

"Sleep," replied Aksa.

Shaking his head. Can't believe. His son couldn't sleep at this hour.

"Here, Ma, drink it." Laura came up with a tray and a glass of cold drink.

"You drive to Aksa's room, yeah. You already know, right, the room?"

"But, Ma. Laura ...."

"It's okay, just take it. Aksa must have been waiting."

Can no longer argue, Laura follow what Sekar wants. He began to take the stairs to get to the room that last afternoon Sekar showed as Aksa's room.

One hand knocked on the door of the black-painted room.

"Sorry, sister, I didn't know that Brother was changing clothes." Laura twisted her body so as not to see the appearance of Aksa's athletic body.

"What's wrong?" aksa asked after wearing a black shirt to replace her shirt.

"Here, I brought drinks for Aksa's sister."

"Just put it on the table."

Carefully Laura twisted her body. Safe. Aksa's already wearing her shirt. He also walked to the table which Aksa meant.

"I'm sorry, sister," Laura said after putting the drink away.

"Wait," Aksa said as Laura nearly opened the door.

"Did your mom ask you to come here?"

"Yes, Brother." Laura looks scared by the look of Aksa's eyes that always managed to intimidate her.

"For what?"

Laura's confused. Should he be honest. But Sekar forbade him to tell Aksa.

"Ehm .. that, Brother ... Uhm ...."

"To bring our relationship closer together, is that it?" guess Aksa's on target.

There's no choice. Laura nodded.

"Get out!"

The young girl came out with a sad look. Not yet a wife, but Aksa's attitude is so cold. The man didn't seem to give Laura a chance to get closer. Aksa put up a sturdy fortress that Laura could not penetrate.

How will she get to her wedding later. Laura was well aware that she was not the type of dream woman of an Earth Character, but at least she wanted to be given the opportunity to make the man see her.

Laura was even able to accept Aksa with all the news about the man. That is why he did not refuse when he was to be betrothed to Aksa.

Not noticeably, the girl's tears melted down her cheeks. But he immediately deleted it when the ringing of his phone rang.

"Hello," said Laura to the person across the street.

"I'm good" Laura replied as the person there asked for news.

"I don't know when I'll be back, now I'm at his house. Aunt Sekar arranged this family meeting to talk about our matchmaking."

"I've got the phone, there's Aunt Sekar." Laura hurriedly turned off the call when she saw the arrival of Sekar.

"Lho, honey, you're still here. Mama thought you were nemenin Aksa inside," said Sekar who saw Laura standing in front of the door of Aksa's room.

"No, really, Ma. Aksa's sister is busy with her work" Laura lied.

He let out a rough breath. "Based on the child, can not be separated for a second from work. Yeah, we'll just go down. We'll get everything ready before your parents come."

Laura followed Sekar back down to the kitchen. He prepared all the menus he had cooked with Sekar. Honestly, Laura knows very well what Sekar wants with this co-cooking event. Sekar wanted to make Laura's self-image in front of Aksa improve. Not the spoiled girl Aksa used to know.

Laura is not new to Aksa's life. They've known her since Laura was a child. In the past, Aksa's attitude was not this cold to Laura but since the idea of matchmaking between them Aksa actually began to make distance. The man had never agreed to this match, but Laura agreed to what their parents wanted.

He said for the sake of keeping the friendship stronger intertwined. From friendship to being besan.

Ah, but Aksa is not that stupid to say agree.
