Glen froze. His eyes kept staring around the living room of Kira's house. After arriving, Kira did not want Glen to go and insisted that he enter the house to do group work.
Glen eventually canceled the intention to futsal. He had already contacted his friend and promised to play futsal next time. The problem now was that Kira's mother stared fixedly at Glen.
Upon meeting the eyes, Glen threw a contrived smile. It feels awkward to be in a foreign house with a strange host. Come to think of it, it would be better if he was in a room with Kira.
Speaking of the little girl, Glen felt that she had been gone long enough. He said he would take his dad's laptop and change clothes. Did Kira daydream to the point of not realizing that Glen was waiting.
"I'm sorry Kira likes it so much, likes to change her clothes for a long time." Finally, Kira started the conversation.
"No papa kok ma'am uh I mean auntie," Glen replied nervously.
Kira's mother smiled, "call me neither papa, please drink the syrup and eat the cake."
Glen nodded slowly and took a glass of orange syrup made by Mother Kira to gulp. This hot weather is delicious to sip ice syrup.
"Newly this time Kirana came to bring her boyfriend the most often come here only Anggi that they immediately went out." Kira's mother commented, she looked a little upset.
Glen himself responded with a smile. Afraid if the wrong word later the atmosphere back awkward. It's good that Kira's mom started the topic.
"So since when did you know my son?" ask Kira's mother. His eyes sparkled like he wanted an answer.
"From now on ma'am, Kira and I are a group for Indonesian language assignments." Glen answered.
"Oh so yeah.." Kira's mother nodded her head in understanding, "So he's not the guy Kira was expecting," Kira continued muttering.
"What?" glen asked confusedly. He sure heard "the hodgepodge Kira was after".
"It finally can be." Kira's voice reached the living room. Carrying his father's laptop, Kira walked over and sat down next to Glen.
"Sorry for a long time, it's hard to find my dad's laptop good to see." Kira then looked at her mother, "Our mother is again doing her duty please don't bother us."
Kira's mother didn't say anything, she just smiled and passed away to the kitchen.
"You're not being asked weird, are you my mother?" kira asked as if she knew Glen's thoughts.
"No, he's good at bringing syrup to pastries." Glen simply answered what it was. He did not want to waste time in that house.
"Well so I've asked Ms. Riska for clarity of our paper, she said her own title but the theme of drugs well there is no input from you, he said nentuin, remember yes we are a group work so I want you to have a big contribution" said Kira at length.
"Then the negative impact of drugs on health." Glen immediately made a suggestion. He then pulled out a book with the first page that read Chapter I.
Kira. He thought Glen was a young man who knew nothing but looking at his writing for Chapter 1 made Kira feel Glen was not a fool.
"I told you from earlier that I was the only one who worked on the paper you just stay presentation in class. Then I'll go." Just standing up Kira immediately pulled Glen's arm.
"Not stay here until I'm done."
Glen took a breath and sat back down. "Why again? Not that I've given you the contents of chapter one stay you enter everything into the laptop."
"Yes, but wait a minute. Not long after."
The man just rolled his eyes lazily. If this continues, he may die because he continues to wait.
"I also want to apologize" Kira said again.
"For what?" asked Glen in wonder. Not that he apologized from earlier.
Staying focused on Kira's laptop then replied, "Because I mean you made me come to the real house if it wasn't for the circumstances I wouldn't have bothered."
It seemed that the direction of the two's conversation was slightly pulling while propping up his chin, Glen looked at Kira. "What situation is this? curious,"
"Oh yeah from earlier your mother said about the guy you're estimating, you like someone else?" terka Glen direct. Seeing Kira's surprised expression, Glen was satisfied once.
"No, my mom is weird, don't listen to what my mom says."
"Sometimes if that's not true why you're shocked so right, right what do I say?" goda Glen again. It's nice to see Kira being upset and misbehaving. He's so predictable.
"Tch, what do you want to say? You won't believe it." Kira replied with an annoyed tone.
"Emang," Glen timpal fast.
Only the sound of the laptop was heard. Kira is serious with the inscription Glen while the young man himself struggling with a mobile phone.
"I think you're stupid but you can make a background all this time" Kira suddenly commented.
"Our group's task, it's just that the other two have some people even though I've never been given the task so it can not stand out." Glen relaxed.
"It's only natural that your writing is also rich in chicken claw writing," Kira sneered.
"Let's write chicken claws like this but I do know chapter 1 anyway you can also read, by the way I'm still confused loh."
"What's that about?"
"Why do you really make us work as a group? Did I tell you I don't care about my grades or don't you like me anymore?" joked Glen while chuckling.
Kira smiled, "I'm so ignorant, I don't feel sorry for you."
"What is pity for? We're not friends."
"What sympathy should be from a friend?" I thought back to ask while looking at Glen who was now silent. "I was always told by the teacher who went in for absences, you never came to class except during sports lessons. Every review you do not have at most if the semester exam. I used to be the person who did not enjoy it, when my group work was the most coarse so that all my group friends had a job so that we all had value like it was because of habit, because of habit, sorry if that bothers you."
No response from Glen. He dissolved in his own mind until Kira's mother came over. "Have done the job? If you haven't eaten yet, I'm ready to prepare food for you."
Kira's mother then turned to Glen, "Son Glen also ate with us coincidentally today mother prepared a lot of food."
"Yes ma'am, thank you," Glen replied politely.
Kira's mother then goes inside while Kira stops her work and saves the laptop. Glen stood up to the kitchen.
The atmosphere was no longer awkward between Glen and Kira's mother who often made jokes was Glen himself. Likewise, when working on papers, although rather than a lot of chatting but chapters one to half chapter two have been completed. All because Glen could give input and look for some referrals used to make papers.
Not feeling the day before night, at 18:00, Glen then said goodbye to the host as well as thanking the food and receiving gladly the arrival of Glen.
"Kira, I'll go home first, yes" she told Kira. He was about to ride a motorbike that was stuck right on the front porch of Kira's house after wearing a helmet.
"Wait a minute!" exclaim Kira prevents Glen. In a hurry he pulled out his cell phone. "Let's take a photo first,"
Glen's forehead shriveled, "For what?"
"Yes make it a proof, who knows Riska's mother can't believe you helped me make a paper."
Surprisingly, Glen followed Kira's will. He unlocks the helmet and approaches Kira who sets the camera on her phone. Glen stood right behind the girl and lowered his head to align with Kira.
"One two three..." Kira pushed the button. He smiled and so did Glen. The young man was sitting on the bike for a while. "Be careful on the road,"
"Yes," Glen replied as he turned on the motor. "Oh, I forgot, Kira.."
Kira muttered in return, she kept looking at Glen who was now also looking at him. "From now on, can I have a casual conversation with you?"
"May I."
