School Series: Friend But Friendly

"Your father called, pick up." Kira then got up from her seat and walked out of the shop made of a small tent.

"Hello Dad," Kira said after picking up the phone.

"Kira, where are you? It's already 7 p.m.," Dad scolded in a worried tone.

"Yes Kira knows, I'm the same friends still eating. Just got out of the movie.." Kira muttered softly. Trying to string words so that his father is not angry.

"Dad can't I come home at 8? I still want to walk with Anggi and the others, can't I?" ask Kira nervously.

"I guess you're still in school tomorrow what if.." Father's words came to a halt as Mother's voice rang out from behind the phone. They argued for a moment. Mother is more defending Kira felt if the princess only deserves to spend a fun time.

"Alright you should be home by 9 if you don't then I'll lock the door."

"Thank you Dad." Kira hangs up the phone and goes back to her friends.

"So what, you want to go home now?" tanya Anggi seems to know the problem of Kira.

The girl shook her head. "Now, isn't papa? I know what your father is like, don't push yourself. It's better than having problems" Anggi continued.

"I'm not excited if you don't exist." Glen. Persuading Kira to stay in that place.

"I don't think it matters if Kira wants to go home after all our activities have been completed, our money is also up. Nothing can be done." Bian gave an opinion. Agree with Anggi.

The sound of notification is heard. Glen immediately picked up his cell phone just to check for a moment. Suddenly a smile appeared. "You don't have to worry, I have a solution."

"Solution?" bian repeated doesn't understand.

Glen showed a notification coming in from the phone which was a text transfer coming in from his account. "My father just transferred my pocket money for 3 months."

After paying them the road goes around the city park. Since Glen had pocket money, they were a little helped. Both of them try "No papa we use your money first?" tanya Kira is not good.

"No papa once in a while. Want to color the picture?" glen asked to switch the conversation.

Kira's hand was pulled by Glen walking closer on some canvases that had colorless images. "You want to too?" glen asked Anggi and Bian.

Both nod. Glen then approached the merchant and paid for four canvases. "What do you want to drink? I'll buy it,"

"Same but bubble gum taste." Kira answered.

"Gue's coming!" anggi Pinta. Glen suddenly looked at Anggi with a suspicious look. Why is this girl in front of him always trying to get close? Anggi hated him so much.

"Come on." Finally Anggi and Glen left with the girl forcibly pulling Glen's arm.

"Why? Want to get Kira to Bian closer?" ask Glen.

"Well, it's a date for both of them." Glen immediately determined . Want him to laugh especially when he saw Anggi who put on a plain face.

"Lo is stupid or pretending to be stupid anyway? You realize, right, that this isn't a date? "Dating" this will not exist if you accept Bian's invitation to go for a walk." Glen let out a rough breath. "Don't you feel sorry for Kira? he's only 2 second choice if you don't want to be invited by Bian."

"Better rich than Bian and Kira are not close at all." Anggi replied without looking at Glen.

"But it's wrong, not only Kira but Bian also feels disappointed and there's nothing good if the relationship is based on coercion."

"Lo says rich is because you don't want it if Kira deket same Bian? I'm also jealous." This time Anggi looked into Glen's eyes sharply but there was a look of sadness in them. A feeling of guilt.

"Yes I'm jealous but I won't mean Kira to make Bian. I realize I'm just his friend and I'm trying to keep Kira comfortable around me."

Anggi turned his face. He was thinking. Glen did not say anything other than silently waiting for the response from the girl.

"If Kira and Bian become one day? What are you gonna do?" asked Anggi with a slight trembling voice. He seemed doubtful.

"Gue will be cool because Kira deserves someone good like Bian anyway he likes Bian yes even though a little sick actually but I will continue to support Kira's decision." Glen answered lightly.

Anggi laughed blandly. "Lo likes Kira very much."

"Obviously dong, if it wasn't for him .. I probably wouldn't be here with you guys." Anggi turned to look at Glen who had walked away. Instantly the bad thoughts about Glen evaporated just like that.

All this time he always branded Glen bad because his past and closeness to Kira so sudden. Now Anggi admits that he was wrong and his best friend was right.

Glen is a good young man.
