As Lea promised Chan, after work she went straight to her father and mother to tell him about her relationship with Chan. Lea's smile grew when she saw a middle-aged woman standing in front of the house welcoming her. Lea shook her mother's hand with reverence, then briefly hugged the woman who had given birth to her.

“How's mom?” Ask Lea.

“Good, how are you?” Asked the middle-aged woman while guiding Lea towards the seat that was in the courtyard of the house.

“It's okay to talk here?” Ask the middle-aged woman.

Lea nodded her head, not minding at all if she just sat in the courtyard of the house. Her stepfather did not like it much when he saw Lea or Dayyan linger in the house, which is why Lea never wanted to stay with her mother.

“What important thing do you want to talk about?” Ask the middle-aged woman again.

“Ak... I want to marry” said Lea slowly.

The middle-aged woman covered her mouth with both hands, looking surprised at her daughter's words, but soon returned to normalcy. “What artist is it?” Ask later.

Lea nodded her head, “Iya, her name is Chan. I want to introduce her to mother”

“You sure you want to marry an artist? I mean.. sorry, I have no right to forbid your decision” said the middle-aged woman.

Lea looked at her mother fixedly, “It's okay, just say what mom wants to say”

“Although mother did not take care of you properly, but you are still the daughter of mother” said the middle-aged woman while rubbing Lea's shoulder. “Mother worries if you get blasphemy and threats again. Marriage is a big decision, you can't back down easily if you've chosen it. How will your life be after marriage? Will his fans accept you or will you just hide in the shadows of your husband?” Say again.

Lea was silent, her mother's worries had a point but her determination was already unanimous. No matter what happens, he will remain beside Chan, just like the man who always tries to hold onto him.

“Thank you for worrying about me, but I want to stay by Chan's side as much as he always tries to protect me” Lea said.

The middle-aged woman smiled, “My daughter is really an adult apparently, I am proud of you. If you're this sure, mom will support you” too

Lea hugged her mother tightly, “Thank you, bu”

The middle-aged woman returned Lea's embrace while rubbing her back, “So, when will mom meet her?”

“Tomorrow, can mom?” Ask Lea.

The middle-aged woman nodded her head, “Mom will take the time for you”

Lea let go of her embrace, looked at her mother lovingly, “Thank you for today, I said goodbye. I'm going to see dad”

The middle-aged woman's eyes glazed over, then quietly said, “Eum. I always pray for you and Dayyan. Please say hi mom to your sister”

Lea nodded her head, gently rubbed the back of the woman's hand, then sauntered away.

Not wanting to delay again, after seeing his mother, Lea took turns to meet his father. At his home, the middle-aged man had also been waiting for the arrival of his eldest daughter. Without further ado, Lea recounts her coming to seek permission to marry Chan.

The middle-aged man looked at his daughter's day, “Although he was a famous person and his life was well established, father still could not let go of you without knowing him first. “You said as if I were someone else, nak” said the middle-aged man as he gently rubbed his daughter's head. He was silent for a moment, then continued his words, “Send your father's greetings to your sister. Dad really wants to talk to Dayyan, but it seems like the wound in his heart is still not healed”.

Leah smiled wryly, she had no power to force her sister. Even so, Lea promised herself that she would try to make Dayyan reconcile with her parents before the wedding day.
