Reincarnation of the Demon King into a Beautiful Silver-Haired Girl
Chapter 24: Great Saint Disciple

Before the duel Arthur sat with Jeanne in one of the best places in the kingdom, a back garden filled with Lavender flowers. Jeanne poured the water in the pot into the cup then pushed it towards Arthur who received it with a smile.

"Please."

"Thank you, being able to drink with a Great Saint is truly an incredible honor."

"You said it too much, your name is Arthur."

"That's my name."

They sipped tea in time together filled the aura around the two with a calm feeling, except for one person who was hiding to peek.

"Bellina you can join us too" said Jeanne, but she chose not to run away and walked over.

"Bellina you can sit on my lap," Arthur's words made him take a hard blow to the shoulder.

This girl is rude.

"I don't want to be harassed by you."

His teacher gave a small laugh before thrusting a new tea for him.

"Why is the teacher laughing?"

"It's not the first time you've been able to talk to a guy normally."

"Well, I guessed it. All along your personality must have been a hoax."

Bellina's face turned red but she didn't let it pass so she strangled her.

"Ugh, you want to kill me?"

"I really want to kill you!" shouted so.

For Arthur to see the real side was more pleasing to him, even when with the demon lord his arrogance also saw a different side.

Bellina let go of her grip and drank her tea.

When the duel was held in the open field, Bellina put horses with swords in her hands while the one standing casually Arthur also did the same.

"Would your sword fight against my sword?"

"This was indeed like a bronze sword but it was actually made from a stone that fell from the sky."

"Fall from the sky?"

"I also don't know his name but this sword I refer to as Excalibur."

"Lumayan, that's a good name."

"Thank you, so what's the rule?"

"It is not permissible to use magic, if one gives up or cannot continue the duel then one loses."

"Agreed."

The king, queen and great saint saw from a distance, there should be Merlin also who joined unfortunately he was busy doing research that could not be bothered in the least.

Returning to the fight, Bellina stomped her feet to dart forward. In front of Arthur he swung his sword and while stifled created sparks of fireworks into the air.

Arthur's body is pushed but not far away, he manages to hold back and push Bellina back until she moves a little.

Arthur not only gives it he also gives a quick slash, from left to right which is balanced by Bellina well before they are finally restrained from each other.

"I must defeat the demon lord and become a savior, there is no way I can lose to you."

"Sorry to disappoint you but you're still not much experienced."

"What?"

They retreated and ran sideways as they slashed their swords, the two metal collisions creating ear-shattering sounds along with flashes of light. Arthur gives Bellina a stab that even slightly grazes her shoulder.

They were supposed to duel with wooden swords but both agreed to use real swords. Bellina retaliates and Arthur avoids her as thin as hair and the two return to banging the sword and are restrained where each can feel each other's breath.

"When I was 5 years old I fought monsters, it was a state where I could die at any time."

"You can choose not to fight."

"No way, because only I can protect my mother."
